Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Vulgarus (61 dmg) · airborne kills: 34 · gutsiest kill: Vulgarus (11 HP)
Match verdict: The match was decided by the early move to 2:1 and Vulgarus's ability to convert contacts more consistently, especially after the tempo returned in the final third. His five-kill spree and eight Rocket Launcher kills built a cushion Deckrat never erased; Vulgarus won 30:19.

MVP goes to Vulgarus for the 30:19 win and the longest five-kill spree. Deckrat takes first-blood and sharpshooter honours at 56.8 metres; the two main rivals also finished perfectly level with 12 immediate revenge kills each.
Vulgarus controls DM-Gateway after a long hard duel
Deckrat opened the scoring, but after an early turnaround Vulgarus held control all the way to point thirty.
DM-Gateway did not deliver a short shootout this time, but a Deathmatch lasting more than forty minutes in which the score moved slowly and every return to combat mattered. Deckrat struck first after only 36 seconds, dropping freedie00 with the Link Gun and briefly setting the tone. Vulgarus answered with the Rocket Launcher, then immediately complicated his own start by killing himself with the same weapon. When he sent Deckrat back to respawn with the Flak Cannon at 2:11 and moved ahead 2:1, the data records the only lead change of the entire match. From then on, the question was whether anyone could catch him, not who would dictate the scoreboard.
First blood, self-rocket, first escape
Deckrat started cleanly: at 0:36 he hit freedie00 with the Link Gun for the authoritative first blood. Vulgarus tied it fifty seconds later with a Rocket Launcher kill on Deckrat, but five seconds afterward he killed himself with the same weapon and fell back to zero. It hardly looked like the ideal opening for the eventual winner, yet at 1:38 he dropped Deckrat again with the Link Gun and at 2:11 turned the score to 2:1 with the Flak Cannon. According to the data, that was the only change of leader in the entire match.
The first third was far from a one-man run. freedie00 hit Vulgarus twice with the Stinger and, during the frantic eighth minute, mixed it up with both Deckrat and Vulgarus. That eighth minute produced five kills, the highest total of any minute. Vulgarus landed a Rocket Launcher frag, Deckrat and freedie00 traded blows, and at 7:52 came the only headshot of the night: Vulgarus hit Deckrat with the Sniper Rifle from 23.7 metres. The table was already leaning his way, but the arena was still growling from every direction.
Roznetka stirs up the middle
From 8:56 Roznetka entered the story in force. Vulgarus first dropped her three times in a row — with the Flak Cannon, Shock Rifle and Flak again — and climbed to 11 points. Roznetka responded sharply: between 10:32 and 11:36 she killed Vulgarus three times and Deckrat once, including a 39.7-metre rocket hit on Deckrat. She later added more precise Flak Cannon duels and stayed close to Deckrat even as Vulgarus built a cushion.
Between 6:30 and 8:21 Vulgarus assembled the longest spree of the match: five kills without dying. It began with the Enforcer against freedie00, followed by a Rocket Launcher kill, another rocket, a Sniper Rifle shot and the Link Gun. Deckrat ended it at 8:21 with the Link Gun. Their rivalry was therefore the match's central engine: they killed each other 22 times, Vulgarus taking Deckrat thirteen times and Deckrat taking Vulgarus nine. After Deckrat's kill at 22:18 the rhythm then collapsed completely; the longest lull lasted 303 seconds, until Vulgarus broke it with a Shock Combo at 27:21.
Ampjunkie arrives after the silence
After the five-minute quiet stretch, the match accelerated again. Vulgarus hit Deckrat with a Shock Combo at 27:21 and 37 seconds later Ampjunkie recorded his first kill in the log, using the Bio Rifle on Deckrat. Vulgarus immediately tested him with the Shock Rifle and Flak Cannon, while Deckrat trimmed the gap with two kills on Vulgarus. From minutes 29 through 34 the fight became a rotating Vulgarus–Deckrat–Ampjunkie triangle, with points arriving much more regularly than during the silent middle phase.
What mattered was Vulgarus converting the greater share of contacts into points. From 17 he moved to 19 with two rockets against Ampjunkie, reached 20 with the Flak Cannon and, after Ampjunkie answered with a Shock Combo, continued to 21 with the Link Gun and 22 with the Shock Rifle against Deckrat. His arsenal was broad: across the match he scored with Rocket Launcher, Flak Cannon, Link Gun, Shock Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Stinger, Bio Rifle, Enforcer and one Shock Combo. The Rocket Launcher delivered the most, with eight kills.
Deckrat signs from range, Vulgarus finishes
The closing phase still supplied a precise reminder that Deckrat could not be dismissed. At 36:18 he hit Vulgarus with the Shock Rifle from 56.8 metres, the longest kill of the match. Vulgarus was already leading 24:15, however, and answered such shots with more points: a Link Gun kill on Ampjunkie made it 25, a Stinger kill on Deckrat 26, and a Rocket Launcher kill on Ampjunkie 27. Deckrat and Ampjunkie stopped Vulgarus several more times, with Deckrat reaching 18.
At 40:27 Vulgarus replied with a 50.2-metre Shock Rifle kill on Deckrat to make it 28. Ampjunkie then knocked him down once more with a rocket, Deckrat added his nineteenth point against Ampjunkie, but there was no room left for a major comeback. Vulgarus hit Ampjunkie with the Rocket Launcher at 41:51 for 29 and at exactly 42:10 closed the match with the same weapon against Deckrat. The final 30:19 looks decisive, but the route was long: 77 events in the kill log, several quiet stretches and no multikill at all. Consistency, rather than a two- or three-frag burst, won it.

DM-Gateway ultimately rewarded the player who handled its changes of pace best. Vulgarus was not flawless — he lost two points to suicides and opponents killed him twenty times — but his 32 kills still turned into the winning 30 points. Deckrat both opened the match and supplied defining moments of the main rivalry: first blood, the end of Vulgarus's longest spree, and the longest shot of the map. It was not enough. After taking the lead early, Vulgarus never needed another comeback, and his final rocket simply confirmed that he had managed the long match more steadily than anyone else.
