Match history — match detail
hemeroid held Deck and denied Jano's finish
Nineteen minutes of rockets, flak and self-inflicted mistakes became a duel between hemeroid's control and Jano's late assault.
DM-Deck opened its gates and hemeroid drew first blood after only eight seconds, using the BioRifle to send Smrtak to respawn from 16.7 metres. He immediately spoiled the winning note by taking a point from himself with the same weapon at 27 seconds. The early lead became a green stain and a reminder that on Deck your closest enemy is often your own ammunition. Hlavicka seized the initiative with a 46.8-metre rocket, and after the match's longest pause of 43 seconds Jano joined the scoring. The opening minutes were not a sprint but a nervous search for rhythm, with the lead changing more often than the safe direction of escape.
Early rockets and early debts
Hlavicka reached three points after kills on hemeroid and Presnak, but Jano tied him at 212 seconds by using the FlakCannon on Rekrut. Eleven seconds later Jano rocketed Presnak, only to be caught by his own blast, leaving the table compressed. hemeroid answered with rockets on Jano and Rekrut, and at 237 seconds hemeroid, Jano and Hlavicka were tied on three. The match's six lead changes did not begin as a statistic; they began as players repeatedly yanking the steering wheel from one another.
The first truly loud argument came from hemeroid at 275 seconds. He hit Jano with the RocketLauncher from 72.7 metres, the longest kill of the night, and survived with one health point. Six seconds later he added Presnak and moved to 5:3. It previewed his later signature: hemeroid averaged 20.3 metres per kill, the highest figure in the field. Yet the BioRifle charged him another self-inflicted point at 316 seconds and Hlavicka moved ahead again. Deck refused to accept any calm script.
The seventh minute without brakes
From the sixth into the seventh minute the match entered a mode that required spare lungs from the commentator. At 368 seconds Rekrut detonated the Redeemer: he hit hemeroid, Jano and Presnak, registered a Double Kill, and also lost his own life in the blast. Moments later Presnak dropped hemeroid with the FlakCannon and then Jano for a Double Kill of his own. hemeroid replied by removing Rekrut with the BioRifle and Jano two seconds later. Another Double Kill made it 7:5 while Hlavicka was also sitting on seven.
The seventh minute, the 6:00-6:59 segment, produced a match-high 14 kills. Hlavicka, Rekrut, Presnak and Jano all pushed toward the front, but at 404 seconds hemeroid rocketed Hlavicka and emerged alone on eight. Hlavicka still tied at 8:8 and later at 9:9 and 10:10, yet hemeroid found an answer every time. This was not resistance-free domination; it was a boxing match in a phone booth, with the RocketLauncher serving as both bell and referee.
Seven steps to separation
The decisive streak began at 389 seconds. hemeroid first hit Rekrut with the BioRifle, then Jano two seconds later for a Double Kill. Rockets followed against Hlavicka, Jano and Hlavicka again, then a 67.5-metre Redeemer kill on Rekrut and finally a BioRifle kill on Smrtak. Seven kills without dying between 389 and 524 seconds formed the longest spree of the match. Hlavicka ended it at 535 with a FlakCannon blast from 4.9 metres, but the same explosion also took a point from Hlavicka. The heroic stop arrived with a small accounting footnote.
From 558 seconds onward hemeroid built the margin methodically. Rockets on Rekrut, Smrtak, Hlavicka and Presnak carried him to 20 points at 664 seconds; Jano had ten and Hlavicka thirteen. hemeroid also survived an average of 42 seconds, the best mark in the field, compared with Jano's 34, Hlavicka's 38, Rekrut's 28, Presnak's 30 and Smrtak's ten. Better range plus longer lives created a gap that one multikill could not erase. Rekrut did drop Hlavicka and Presnak with the FlakCannon at 699 seconds, but the leader answered on Rekrut and continued to 23.
Jano's charge and the last rocket
Jano refused to settle for a fight over second place. He collected nine immediate revenge kills, the most in the match, and his rivalry with hemeroid returned in regular bursts. He killed him with the Redeemer at 709 seconds and the RocketLauncher at 745 and 1026. The last of those started Jano's six-kill spree: Presnak, Rekrut and Hlavicka followed, then Presnak again with a 40.1-metre Redeemer and once more with a rocket. From 16:28 Jano climbed to 22:28, and even a comfortable lead began looking over its shoulder.
Hlavicka meanwhile produced a bizarre 66-metre FlakCannon kill on hemeroid, but Jano kept moving and reached 24 after rocketing Smrtak at 1139 seconds. hemeroid had already scored number 29 with the SniperRifle and entered the final second with a five-point cushion. Hlavicka's self-kill at 1154 reduced him from 21 to 20; one second later hemeroid hit Smrtak with the RocketLauncher from nine metres. The final 30:24:20:17:16 was sealed exactly with the clock. No fanfare, just an explosion and an extremely precise full stop.

After 19 minutes and 15 seconds, hemeroid remained on top with 30 points, six ahead of Jano. The winner had the most kills, the longest spree, the most damage dealt and the longest average life, while still committing three suicides. Jano produced the sharpest finish and nine revenge kills, Hlavicka stayed close for a long time and twice punished hemeroid's runs, while Rekrut and Presnak kept the corridors full of flak. Deck did not reward perfection, because nobody supplied it; it rewarded the player who converted mistakes into the next rocket fastest.
