Match verdict: The decisive phase was Vulgarus's move into the lead at 0:47 followed by the seven-kill spree that created a buffer before hemeroid's midgame push. With only one suicide and the longest average life, Vulgarus gave away few cheap openings and won 30 ahead of hemeroid 23, Trajbalajka 17 and Jano 16.

MVP goes to Vulgarus for 30 points, a seven-kill spree, two headshots and the best average life. hemeroid takes the revenge award with 12 revenge kills, while Jano earns the less glamorous prize for the most complicated relationship with his own Rocket Launcher.

Vulgarus controls Korumi with shock, rockets and 30

DM-1on1-Korumi became a four-player pressure cooker in which the scoreboard rarely stopped moving and the Rocket Launcher was constantly busy. Trajbalajka opened the scoring at 0:18, dropping hemeroid with the Bio Rifle from 14 metres, and briefly owned first place. Jano joined ten seconds later with a rocket on the same victim, but then Vulgarus found the first real rhythm of the match: a Shock Combo on hemeroid, another on Jano, and a Shock Rifle kill on Trajbalajka. At 0:47 Vulgarus reached two points and became the sole leader. That was the match's only lead change, even though the chase behind him stayed noisy until the final second.

Trajbalajka drew first blood, Vulgarus took the lead

First blood belonged to Trajbalajka at exactly 0:18, when his Bio Rifle removed hemeroid from 14 metres. Jano answered at 0:28 with a Rocket Launcher kill on hemeroid, but Vulgarus soon imposed the first sustained run. Between 0:40 and 0:51 he scored three times: Shock Combo on hemeroid, Shock Combo on Jano, then Shock Rifle on Trajbalajka. The kill on Jano at 0:47 put him alone in front at 2-1, and the single lead change of the entire match was already complete.

Vulgarus quickly stretched that lead through accuracy and weapon variety. At 1:32 he hit hemeroid with the Shock Rifle from 27 metres, the longest kill of the match. Jano stayed relevant through rockets and reached five points, but Vulgarus was already on nine by 2:37. That same sequence produced a Double Kill: Shock Combo on Trajbalajka, then another Shock Combo on Jano four seconds later. Korumi had moved from opening exchanges into a full-speed brawl.

Seven unanswered kills and the longest quiet spell

The winner's strongest stretch began at 1:47. Vulgarus killed Trajbalajka with the Flak Cannon and then cycled through hemeroid, Trajbalajka and Jano with Flak, Shock Combo and Rocket Launcher. His longest spree reached seven kills and lasted until 3:57. Because the kills came with several weapons, the others could not solve the problem by simply denying one pickup or one firing lane. By the end of the run Vulgarus had twelve points and a meaningful cushion.

Trajbalajka finally stopped the spree at 3:57 with a rocket from 15.2 metres. In the same timestamp Vulgarus also managed to kill Trajbalajka with a rocket, a wonderfully messy exchange. Then came the longest pause of the match: 31 seconds without a kill, from 3:57 to 4:28. Once fighting resumed, Vulgarus immediately added three quick Rocket Launcher kills and reached fifteen points by 4:46.

hemeroid surges through the middle

The middle phase belonged largely to hemeroid, who recovered from his poor start through the Bio Rifle. At 5:30 he killed Vulgarus with the Flak Cannon, at 5:46 he got him again with Bio, and two seconds later added a Double Kill on Jano. Later, between 6:38 and 6:44, he hit Jano, Trajbalajka and Vulgarus in rapid succession; the final kill registered a level-2 Multi Kill. That run brought hemeroid to eleven points against Vulgarus's fifteen, the closest sustained pressure the leader faced.

Jano and Trajbalajka kept complicating the chase. Jano produced strong rocket sequences, but the same Rocket Launcher also cost him six suicides across the match. Trajbalajka repeatedly punished hemeroid, and their direct rivalry became the busiest pairing: 22 mutual kills, with hemeroid taking that mini-battle 13-9. Despite all that traffic, the official lead changed only once; most of the drama was about whether anyone could stay close enough to Vulgarus for long enough.

The eleventh minute erupts, Vulgarus closes the door

The 11th minute was the busiest of all, producing ten kills. From 10:10 Jano scored twice with the Flak Cannon and once with a rocket, but at 10:18 he also suffered another Rocket Launcher suicide. Vulgarus returned at 10:23 with a rocket kill on hemeroid and preserved his cushion. At 10:50 the scoreboard read Vulgarus 23, hemeroid 17, Jano 14 and Trajbalajka 13. The chasers could hurt the leader, but none could build a long clean streak without giving points back elsewhere.

The finish had a visible target. At 11:51 Vulgarus headshot Trajbalajka with the Sniper Rifle, then added a Shock Rifle kill, a Shock Combo on Jano and a Flak Cannon kill. hemeroid still climbed to 22, Trajbalajka to 17 and Jano to 16, but Vulgarus was already on 28. At 13:27 he sniped Jano for point 29. The final second contained two scoring events: hemeroid rocketed Jano to reach 23, while Vulgarus headshot Trajbalajka with the Sniper Rifle for point 30 and the win.

Match moments
  • Trajbalajka scored first blood at 0:18 with the Bio Rifle on hemeroid.
  • Vulgarus took the lead at 0:47 and was never replaced at the top.
  • Vulgarus produced the longest spree, seven kills, before Trajbalajka stopped it at 3:57.
  • The longest kill was Vulgarus's 27-metre Shock Rifle shot on hemeroid at 1:32.
  • hemeroid recorded a level-2 Multi Kill at 6:44 and cut the gap to four points.
  • The 11th minute set the pace peak with 10 kills.
  • Vulgarus reached 30 with a final-second Sniper Rifle headshot on Trajbalajka.

Korumi therefore produced a winner through sustained control rather than one lucky swing. Vulgarus finished with 31 kills, only one suicide, the seven-kill longest spree and the best average life at 44 seconds. hemeroid recovered all the way to 23 and led the match with 12 revenge kills, but four suicides and 34 deaths repeatedly interrupted his momentum. Trajbalajka supplied first blood and the longest average kill distance at 13.2 metres. Jano delivered 17 Rocket Launcher kills, yet six self-inflicted rocket deaths pulled his score back to 16. The final 30-23-17-16 looks calmer than the match actually felt.

    Who killed with what

Each player's kills split by weapon. Reveals every fighter's favorite tool.

The Rocket Launcher was by far the deadliest weapon with 45 non-suicide kills; Jano alone scored 17 of them. Vulgarus won through variety: 8 Shock Combos, 8 rockets, 6 Shock Rifle, 5 Flak Cannon and 4 Sniper Rifle kills, plus both headshots in the match.

Vulgarus did not bind his plan to one weapon: Shock Rifle and Shock Combo controlled medium lanes, while Flak Cannon and Rocket Launcher handled close fights. hemeroid adapted with more aggressive Bio Rifle pressure and reduced the gap in the middle. Jano repeatedly chose close rocket exchanges, gaining kills but increasing suicide risk. Trajbalajka operated from the longest average range, yet that spacing never became sustained control of the match.
