hemeroid Survives Rocket Chaos on DM-1on1-Penetrated
Five lead changes, rockets around every corner, and hemeroid building a cushion at exactly the right time.
DM-1on1-Penetrated was no quiet two-player duel this time, but a crowded arena. Five names, rockets, bio sludge and Flak Cannon blasts mixed through a match lasting 757 seconds and featuring five lead changes. Jano struck first in the ninth second, dropping Trajbalajka with the Rocket Launcher, but the opening minutes quickly showed that one clean start would not be enough. hemeroid answered immediately, Cibot09 gradually found momentum, and every small advantage had to be defended in the map's tight spaces. What followed was a fight decided not by one spectacular shot, but by the ability to survive the chaos longer than everyone else.
Jano opened the scoring, hemeroid seized the initiative
First blood belonged to Jano: at 0:09 he hit Trajbalajka with a Rocket Launcher from 9.8 meters. hemeroid answered with two Bio Rifle kills on Cibot09 and led 2:1 after only 21 seconds. His start was checked by his own rocket at 55 seconds, and Jano immediately tied it at 2:2. The opening set the tone perfectly: every extra step gained was quickly taken away by somebody else.
At 92 seconds hemeroid hit Jano and Trajbalajka with the Flak Cannon at the same timestamp for a Double Kill and moved to four points. Fourteen seconds later Jano pulled him back to a 4:4 tie, then reached five after a rocket kill on Trajbalajka at 126 seconds. A Bio Rifle suicide at 162 seconds gave ground back to hemeroid. The longest quiet spell followed Cibot09's kill at 140 seconds: 27 seconds without a point, which in this arena almost counted as a refreshment break.
The middle belonged to hemeroid, but rockets came from everywhere
From 167 seconds onward, hemeroid started building his advantage more methodically. He removed Cibot09 with the Flak Cannon, then added Cibot09 and Jano at 184 and 185 seconds, with the second hit producing another Double Kill. Trajbalajka answered at 203 seconds with a Bio Rifle double against Jano and hemeroid, but the leader did not lose rhythm. At 235 seconds came the longest kill of the match: hemeroid hit Jano with the Bio Rifle from 32.8 meters.
The fifth minute was pure madness. Eleven kills landed between 240 and 299 seconds, the highest total of any minute. hemeroid moved from nine to 13 points in that stretch, Cibot09 reached eight and Trajbalajka also reached eight. Rockets remained the main currency, while the Bio Rifle and Flak Cannon punished anyone who came close without a plan. After six minutes hemeroid led Cibot09 18:10 and Jano 18:7; the match was not over, but its first truly solid gap had appeared.
Cibot09 built a five-kill streak and Headhunter stopped it
The biggest individual counterattack came from Cibot09. From 350 to 453 seconds he collected five kills without dying, the longest spree of the match. It started with a rocket on Trajbalajka, continued with Jano at 380 seconds, then after Headhunter appeared Cibot09 added two kills on the new opponent and struck Jano again at 430 seconds. Streaks on DM-1on1-Penetrated do not come with lifetime warranties, however: Headhunter ended it at 453 seconds with the Enforcer and immediately added a Double Kill.
Trajbalajka played 383 seconds and finished on seven points. Headhunter then became a factor in the second half, shaking up the order with frequent short-range kills. hemeroid still held the lead: he had 20 points at 414 seconds, dropped to 19 after a rocket suicide, but climbed to 24 by 531 seconds. Cibot09 stayed within reach and Jano kept collecting points mainly with the Rocket Launcher, yet the leader maintained a useful cushion.
The finish cut the margin, not hemeroid's nerve
In the final third, the battle for second became its own thriller. At 600 seconds hemeroid had 26, Cibot09 18 and Jano 17. Cibot09 reached 20 with rockets, Jano surged to 21, and around 651 seconds the two challengers were effectively locked together before both later reached 21 while hemeroid remained on 28.
From 671 seconds the arena accelerated again. Cibot09 landed a Shock Combo and later a Bio Rifle kill on Jano, while Headhunter struck Jano, Cibot09 and hemeroid in quick succession. hemeroid absorbed the pressure without panic. At 729 seconds he dropped Headhunter with the Flak Cannon to reach 29. Jano delayed the celebration with a rocket at 736 seconds and finished on 24, tied with Cibot09. The final word belonged to the leader at 12:36: a Rocket Launcher kill on Headhunter closed the match at 30 points.
Match moments

- hemeroid recorded a Double Kill at 92 seconds and another at 185 seconds.
- The fifth minute produced 11 kills, the busiest minute of the match.
- The longest kill belonged to hemeroid: a 32.8-meter Bio Rifle hit on Jano.
- Cibot09 produced the longest spree, five kills between 350 and 453 seconds.
- Headhunter ended Cibot09's streak with the Enforcer and immediately added a Double Kill.
- hemeroid scored point 30 with a rocket kill on Headhunter at 756 seconds.
hemeroid took the win 30:24, with Jano and Cibot09 tied on 24 and Headhunter closing his later appearance on 11. The decisive factor was not one unstoppable run; the winner's longest spree was only four. Instead it was consistency, 32 kills against 23 deaths, and the ability to recover after every mistake. Eleven immediate revenge kills are a fitting number for a player who rarely allowed an opponent to keep the last word. DM-1on1-Penetrated therefore got a match where the rockets made the noise, but patience made the result.
