Granatnik steals Deck from KST on the very last frag
KST reached 29 first, but Granatnik saved the final word and the final point for himself.
Deck offered no warm-up time. Six seconds in, Granatnik dropped KST with the Link Gun for first blood, yet that opening point never turned into a comfortable cruise. Mlatic answered at 0:20, Trefa completed a Double Kill at 0:48 with a 53.4-meter Stinger shot, and the standings stayed tightly packed. Granatnik did stretch to 6 points by 2:28 while Trefa had 2, but the official match record still had nine lead changes waiting. By the time the score stopped at 30:29, the symmetry was perfect: both the first six seconds and the final second belonged to Granatnik.
A fast start and Granatnik's first break
Granatnik opened at 0:06 against KST and hit him again with the Flak Cannon at 0:26. KST immediately answered with the Bio Rifle, while Granatnik added Trefa with the Sniper Rifle and eventually reached six points. Trefa produced the first multikill: he eliminated Mlatic at 0:45 and three seconds later hit Granatnik from 53.4 meters with the Stinger for a Double Kill. The first minute contained seven kills and is listed by the computed data as the busiest minute.
The lead did not mean safety. Granatnik lost a point to a fall at 2:36, and at 2:58 KST killed Mlatic with the Redeemer but also killed himself. Granatnik rebuilt momentum and held nine points around the sixth minute while the pack chased. Flak Cannon, Rocket Launcher, Shock Rifle and Sniper Rifle all contributed, giving him several ways to score, although his route was anything but mistake-free.
Three-way ties, silence, then a new leader
From 7:25 onward, the early gap collapsed. Trefa tied Granatnik at 9:9 and at 8:05 another Flak kill moved him ahead 10:9. Granatnik answered twelve seconds later, KST caught up, and at 8:40 the lead showed 10:10:10 for Granatnik, KST and Trefa. Trefa then took Granatnik with the Link Gun at 8:52 for 11. That frag was followed by the match's longest empty stretch: 79 seconds without a kill, ending when Trefa hit KST at 10:11.
After the pause, KST accelerated. He used Bio Rifle on Trefa, then Stinger on Trefa and Granatnik, reaching a 13:10 edge over Granatnik at 11:18. Trefa remained close and a Shock Combo on KST at 12:27 put him up 14:13. The pace kept surging: minutes six and twenty-one also contained seven kills, even though the official busiest-minute field selects minute one. At this point, one short dry spell was enough to lose the lead.
Mlatic's six-frag run scrambles the table
At 12:19 the longest spree of the match began. Mlatic hit Granatnik with the Flak Cannon and built six uninterrupted kills through 14:34. Stinger, Flak Cannon, Shock Combo and other finishes carried the run; at 14:29 he stood alone in first on 15, then reached 16 by killing Trefa five seconds later. A player who had been part of the pack suddenly owned the lead.
KST ended the spree at 14:42 with the Bio Rifle. Mlatic still killed Trefa with a Redeemer at 15:27 while also losing a point to his own death, and the middle of the match stayed tangled. KST then leaned into longer, cleaner duels: he headshot Trefa with the Sniper Rifle from 58.9 meters at 16:57 and again from 61.9 meters at 18:34. His 24.3-meter average kill distance led the field, as did his 55-second average life.
Granatnik returns and the last five seconds
When KST reached 20 at 18:34, Granatnik was still on 17. Then came the comeback: Granatnik killed KST at 19:21 with the Sniper Rifle, at 19:34 with the Flak Cannon, and at 19:47 with a 40.3-meter Sniper headshot to tie 20:20. Eight seconds later a Redeemer kill on Mlatic made it 21. Granatnik also finished with a match-high 12 revenge kills, and that ability to answer immediately kept the recovery alive.
KST refused to disappear. A Stinger kill at 21:19 restored a 23:22 lead, and later he reached 27:25. Trefa then delivered the longest kill, sniping Granatnik from 86.1 meters at 24:06. Granatnik answered eight seconds later with an 82.2-meter Enforcer kill on Trefa and pulled level with KST at 27:27. KST reached 29 at 25:02 with a Redeemer kill on Trefa; Granatnik made it 29 at 25:12 with a Shock Combo on Mlatic. Trefa killed KST twice after that, but KST remained on 29. At 26:00, one second before the log ended, Granatnik hit KST with the Link Gun for the winning 30:29.
