MVP goes to Trefa for 30 points, zero suicides and the decisive finish. Mlatic earns the spree award with seven straight kills, KST owns the 34.6 m long-shot prize, and Granatnik takes both headshots; KST and Trefa also shared the revenge lead with eight each.
Trefa conquers DM-Codex after eight fierce lead changes
Codex changed hands eight times, but Trefa seized both the Flak Cannon rhythm and the result when the finish tightened.
DM-Codex produced the kind of Deathmatch where the scoreboard refused to settle. Granatnik complicated his opening with an Impact Hammer suicide at 0:10, but the first legal frag belonged to KST: at 0:16 he dropped Mlatic with the Link Gun for the authoritative first blood. Trefa answered with two Sniper Rifle kills, KST returned fire with rockets and a Shock Combo, and the opening minute already showed that no lead would live comfortably. Across 19 minutes and 7 seconds the lead changed eight times. All four players spent stretches within striking distance, yet only one reached the 30-point limit: Trefa.
KST sets the tone, Granatnik recovers quickly
KST refused to let Trefa run away after first blood. At 1:06 he hit him with the Rocket Launcher and fifteen seconds later a Shock Combo moved KST to 3:2. Granatnik repaired his negative start with a Shock Combo on Mlatic and two Flak Cannon kills, while Mlatic began climbing from the bottom with patient Link Gun work.
By the fourth and fifth minutes the race had compressed to a single point. KST led 6:4, Granatnik reached five, and Mlatic accelerated. At 5:17 and 5:19 Mlatic killed Trefa and KST back-to-back with the Link Gun, the second frag completing a Double Kill and moving him to seven. Seconds later Granatnik joined KST and Mlatic on seven, then took sole possession of the lead with eight at 5:57. DM-Codex had become a revolving door: everyone got a turn at the front, nobody got security.
Trefa takes Codex, KST stays in range
Trefa responded with Shock Rifle kills on Granatnik and KST, then a Flak Cannon frag on Mlatic. By 6:23 he led with nine and soon added a tenth against KST. Granatnik briefly tied him at nine, but Trefa immediately reclaimed first place. From there the Flak Cannon became Trefa’s signature weapon: he scored 16 kills with it, the biggest player-weapon total in the match.
Nothing was settled. KST kept pressure through the Rocket Launcher, which supplied ten kills, and his 14.9-metre average kill distance was the highest in the field. Trefa added a Link Gun Double Kill at 7:56, Mlatic mixed Link Gun and Flak Cannon, and Granatnik continued punishing close contacts. The twelfth minute offered only two kills, a rare quiet patch before the match accelerated again.
Mlatic’s seven-frag run and KST’s comeback
Mlatic launched the match’s strongest individual run at 10:36 by killing Trefa with the Enforcer. From there to 14:00 he assembled seven straight kills without another player stopping him. The spree ended not with an opponent’s shot but with Mlatic’s own Bio Rifle suicide, which is why the computed `ended_by` value is empty. It still stood as the longest spree and kept him firmly in the race for second.
KST meanwhile returned to the top. Rocket Launcher kills at 12:54 and 12:58 moved him to 17 and gave him sole possession of first after Trefa’s long spell ahead. Trefa tied and passed him again, but KST kept answering. At 13:57 KST recorded the longest kill of the match, a 34.6-metre Bio Rifle hit on Granatnik. At 15:19 he completed a Rocket Launcher Double Kill, first on Granatnik and then Trefa, to lead 21:20 once more.
The eighteenth minute breaks the deadlock
Trefa tied KST at 21 at 15:49 and four seconds later killed Granatnik with the Flak Cannon to reclaim first. After Trefa’s Shock Rifle kill on Mlatic at 16:05 came the longest pause of the match, 43 seconds without a frag. When action resumed, Trefa soon killed KST, then Mlatic, and at 16:57 completed a Double Kill on Granatnik. His score jumped to 26 and the narrow lead finally became a cushion.
The eighteenth minute was the busiest of the match with eight kills. Granatnik added his second Sniper Rifle headshot, while KST and Mlatic both finished on 24, but Trefa was already too far ahead. He reached 29 with more Bio Rifle and Flak Cannon work. Mlatic killed him twice late, yet the final word belonged to Trefa: at 19:06 he hit KST with the Shock Rifle from 2.3 metres and closed the Deathmatch at 30:24:24:14.

The final 30:24:24:14 line looks cleaner than the match ever felt. KST and Granatnik both held solo leads, Mlatic owned the longest spree, and deep into the second half Trefa and KST were still trading first place. The final third decided it. Trefa averaged 49 seconds per life, best of the four, surrendered no points to suicide, and turned the Flak Cannon into a reliable close-range scoring engine. He did not need to lead throughout Codex; he only needed to own the moments after 21:21, when every mistake started carrying the weight of the finish.
