Kosmodisk turns the tables on Naboj in Blood Money fight
Five lead changes, a six-kill streak for the rival, and a comeback Kosmodisk saved for the finish.
Four contenders entered Normal Deathmatch on DM-1on1-Blood_Money_Beta2: Kosmodisk, Naboj, Hlavicka and Kulomet. The objective was 30 points, and the contest lasted 18 minutes and six seconds. The final 30–25 scoreline in Kosmodisk’s favour looks comfortable only until you read the timeline. The lead changed five times, and Naboj held a five-point advantage surprisingly late. Hlavicka and Kulomet were hardly background characters; each disrupted the duel between the front-runners at key moments. On this map, any lead was apparently rented rather than owned, and the rent came due at the worst possible moment.
First blood, then the warning
Naboj opened the scoring after just 16 seconds, eliminating Kulomet with the Link Gun. Twenty seconds later Hlavicka fell to the same weapon. Kosmodisk entered the scoring column in second 42 by taking down Hlavicka with a Link Gun, surviving on a mere two health. Kulomet answered with his Enforcer at 70 seconds and Hlavicka hit Naboj with the Stinger at 88. All four competitors were already changing the rhythm of the match.
By second 117, Naboj led Kosmodisk 4–2, but a Stinger fightback made it 4–4 in second 154. Kosmodisk then hit Naboj with Shock Combos in seconds 199 and 211, taking a 6–5 lead. A further pair of Shock Combo eliminations, against Naboj at 259 and Kulomet at 260, secured a Double Kill and pushed the score to 8–6. Earlier, at second 112, Kosmodisk had tagged Kulomet with a Link Gun from 38.3 metres, the longest successful shot of the entire match.
A Shock Rifle reversal
That lead had the shelf life of an unguarded Bio Rifle. Naboj fought back and tied the duel at 9–9 with his Shock Rifle in second 359. In second 398 he eliminated Kosmodisk with a Shock Combo, moving ahead 11–9. Meanwhile, Hlavicka was collecting crucial kills with Bio Rifle and Enforcer, dispatching Naboj at 401 and Kosmodisk at 412. The latter elimination was followed by the longest kill-free interval: exactly 40 seconds.
Kosmodisk kept working through Link Gun, Stinger and Bio Rifle kills, drawing level at 13–13 in second 545. The tenth minute registered six kills, tied for the highest minute-by-minute pace. But from second 555 Naboj began the match’s longest spree, six kills without dying. Kulomet finally ended it with a Sniper Rifle at second 701, after Naboj had done serious damage to the standings. Naboj also topped the revenge-kill list with twelve immediate paybacks. A little revenge was evidently not enough for him.
Five points down, momentum reversed
At second 609 the duel was tied 16–16. Naboj then scored against Kulomet and Kosmodisk and, by second 712, stood at 21–16. Kosmodisk returned the favour with a Bio Rifle kill in that same second, cutting it to 17–21, but Naboj stretched the gap to 22–17 at 752. A five-point deficit in a race to thirty was no small problem. Kulomet complicated matters by eliminating Naboj in second 811 and Kosmodisk in second 815 with the Stinger, recording a Double Kill of his own.
Then the eventual winner found another gear. Kosmodisk killed Naboj with Bio Rifle at 850, Kulomet with Shock Rifle at 872, and Naboj again with Shock Rifle at 880 to reach a 22–22 tie. Shock Combo removed Hlavicka at 888 and flipped the lead to 23–22. Two Rocket Launcher kills followed, against Naboj at 904 and Kulomet at 916. Within a short burst of action, Kosmodisk had transformed a chase into a 25–22 advantage. The weapons changed, but the message stayed the same: no mercy for the scoreboard.
The last points did not come free
Naboj still refused to disappear. With other fighters also intervening, he reached 24 in second 989 by killing Kosmodisk with the Link Gun, just one point behind his opponent’s 25. Hlavicka stopped Naboj four seconds later with the Stinger, an interruption that mattered to the chase. Kosmodisk responded by eliminating Hlavicka three times in seconds 999, 1010 and 1015, every time with Bio Rifle, extending his score to 28–24.
Kulomet stopped Kosmodisk with Stinger at 1027; Naboj collected his final, twenty-fifth point against Hlavicka at 1037. But the finishing blows were all Kosmodisk’s. He eliminated Kulomet with Bio Rifle at 1049 and closed the game with a Link Gun kill against Hlavicka at 1086, reaching thirty. The four players recorded 81 kills against opponents, plus Kulomet’s two unfortunate self-eliminations with Bio Rifle. Even the scorekeeper had earned a breather.

Yet the finishing order hides the defining detail: Naboj still held a five-point advantage in the thirteenth minute. Kosmodisk won by changing the pace and combining Shock weapons, rockets and a late Bio Rifle burst.
