MVP goes to Halu for 30 points, an eight-kill spree and 12 revenge kills. Bourak gets the Double Kill award, Jano the long-range trophy, and Kemper the day's paradox: first blood at the start, then the only player to stop Halu's eight-kill run.
Halu breaks Blood Money with an eight-kill run, 30:15
Eight lead changes, a Bio Rifle shot across the map, then Halu closed the account for good.
DM-1on1-Blood_Money_Beta2 behaved like anything but a quiet one-on-one arena in this Deathmatch. Across 576 seconds the lead changed eight times, and the opening minutes looked more like an open market for frags than a straight road to one winner. Kemper drew first blood on Bourak with the Link Gun after 11 seconds, but the reply came quickly: Bourak hit Halu with the Rocket Launcher at 34 seconds, while Strafan and later Halu also pushed toward the top. After the kill at 53 seconds came the longest silence of the match, a 33-second gap without a frag. Once that pause ended, the pace climbed sharply and one question began to dominate: could anyone stop Halu before he turned the whole map into his territory?
Opening minutes: everyone leads, nobody is safe
Kemper owned the first moment, but the lead immediately became unstable. Bourak equalized, Strafan entered with the Shock Rifle, and after his kill at 49 seconds Bourak, Kemper and Strafan all sat on one point. Bourak moved ahead 2:1 at 53 seconds, only for Strafan to pull level with the Stinger at 86. Halu finally appeared on the board at 92 seconds with a Rocket Launcher kill on Kemper and added a Sniper Rifle frag nineteen seconds later.
At 128 seconds Halu killed Bourak and stood alone at 3:2, his first solo lead. It did not last. Bourak kept catching him, killed Jano at 152 seconds and tied Halu 5:5 with the Stinger at 166. Jano arrived later but quickly established a pattern: after a Sniper Rifle kill on Kemper at 188 seconds, most of his work came from the Bio Rifle. The first two and a half minutes were therefore a constant reshuffle, with Halu and Bourak increasingly emerging as the central duel.
Bourak presses, Jano stretches the Bio Rifle beyond reason
Bourak recorded his first Double Kill at 202 seconds: he had already dropped Kemper with the Stinger and three seconds later killed Halu, moving to seven points. This was also where Jano began making the Bio Rifle ignore normal expectations of range. At 214 seconds he killed Bourak from 71.1 metres, the longest kill of the match, and did it while surviving on only 6 HP. Fifteen seconds later he used the same weapon to kill Halu.
Halu stayed close. A Shock Combo on Bourak at 227 seconds gave him an 8:7 lead, and a Bio Rifle kill at 240 took him to nine. Bourak tied it 9:9 at 253 and moved ahead 10:9 at 269. Meanwhile Jano dropped Kemper twice in quick succession with the Bio Rifle, and his average kill distance eventually reached 19.9 metres, the best of all players. The fifth minute produced 12 kills, the busiest of the match, leaving almost no room for cautious play.
The 10:10 tie and the run that cracked the match
At 286 seconds Halu killed Bourak with the Bio Rifle and the scoreboard read 10:10. It was the last time Bourak matched Halu's score. Eleven seconds later Halu killed Bourak again and launched the stretch that changed the entire shape of the game. From 286 to 366 seconds he collected eight kills without dying: Bourak, Bourak, Kemper, Bourak, Jano, Jano, Bourak, Jano. He rotated weapons without hesitation, using the Bio Rifle, Stinger, Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher and Shock Rifle.
When Halu dropped Jano with the Shock Rifle at 363 seconds, he had reached 17 points. Only Kemper stopped him, landing a Shock Rifle kill at 366. By then the damage was decisive: Bourak had 10 and Jano 8. Halu's spree reached eight, his match high, and a direct fight for the lead had turned into a chase. It also fit the survival numbers: Halu averaged 48 seconds per life, the best figure among the main active players, giving him enough time to turn good positioning into repeated points.
Closing phase: Bourak fights back, Halu shuts the door
Bourak did not disappear. At 404 and 405 seconds he produced his second Double Kill, hitting Halu and then Kemper with the Stinger in rapid succession. Nineteen seconds later he added a Sniper Rifle kill on Halu to reach 14 points. Halu answered in the manner that worked throughout the match: immediate revenge and sustained pressure. The computed stats give him 12 revenge kills, the highest total, and that reflex kept appearing in the final minutes.
From 439 seconds onward Halu climbed from 20 points to the winning 30. Kemper, Bourak and Jano took turns as victims while Halu mixed the Bio Rifle, Shock Combo, Stinger, Rocket Launcher and Shock Rifle. Jano still hunted Bourak and Kemper with the Bio Rifle and hit Kemper from 45.4 metres at 498 seconds, but his Bio Rifle suicide at 528 cost a point and explains why 15 kills produced a score of 14. Halu's final three scoring kills came against Kemper, Bourak and Jano, before he finished the match at 576 seconds with a Rocket Launcher kill on Stingray. Exactly 30:15 at the top, no overtime required.
Match moments
- Kemper drew first blood after 11 seconds with the Link Gun on Bourak.
- The longest quiet spell lasted 33 seconds after the kill at 53 seconds.
- Bourak scored two Double Kills, at 202 and 405 seconds.
- Jano killed Bourak with the Bio Rifle from 71.1 metres, the longest kill of the match.
- The fifth minute produced 12 kills, more than any other minute.
- At 10:10 Halu launched an eight-kill spree lasting from 286 to 366 seconds.
- Kemper alone ended Halu's longest spree with the Shock Rifle at 366 seconds.
- Halu closed the match at 576 seconds with a Rocket Launcher kill for his 30th point.
The final 30:15 score for Halu looks decisive, but the road there was not. The first half contained eight lead changes, repeated ties between Halu and Bourak, and dangerous interventions from Jano and Kemper. Separation came only after the 10:10 tie, when Halu combined long survival, a broad weapon pool and eight unanswered kills. Bourak remained the main rival and his two Double Kills supplied sharp counterpunches, while Jano delivered the statistical oddity of the day with a 71.1-metre Bio Rifle kill. Once Halu found the right tempo, Blood Money stopped looking like a balanced ledger and started looking like a debt collection.
