Ironguard Steals the Win in the Last Second of Battle
Nineteen minutes, ten leadership changes and a single point between the champion and the runner-up.
DM-Egitim hosted a Normal Deathmatch on 16 October 2026 with seven contenders and a target of thirty points: Ironguard, Strelko, Rachot, Ostrelovac, KST, Hlavicka and Rozstrel. The 19-minute, 19-second contest ended with Ironguard on 30, Strelko on 29 and Rachot on 27. Its final standings hide a remarkable sequence of reversals: the match record credits ten lead changes. The first 77 seconds had no kills; late exchanges became relentless. With the title still undecided in the closing seconds, the ultimate shot mattered far more than any early advantage.
First blood and KST’s early lead
Strelko broke the silence at 1:17 by killing Rachot with the Link Gun: the official first blood. A second later Hlavicka retaliated against Strelko with a Rocket Launcher. KST joined in at 1:29 using the Bio Rifle and took sole command at 1:41 with two points. Bio Rifle, rockets and Stinger hits then drove his early score forward. Strelko had the first kill, but that distinction offered no protection from repeated attacks.
Rachot responded with the Link Gun, killing KST at 3:50 and Ostrelovac at 3:54; Ostrelovac replied with a Bio Rifle hit just one second later. At 4:05 Hlavicka eliminated Rozstrel with a Shock Combo, then caught Ostrelovac with the Shock Rifle two seconds later for a Double Kill. At 4:52 Rachot moved to six points and overtook KST. Even with two self-inflicted deaths over the match, Rachot proved that the early leader would not enjoy an uncontested ride.
Ironguard enters the race
Ironguard did not secure his first kill until 6:12, when he hit Ostrelovac with the Stinger. That slow introduction turned into a fierce recovery: Strelko fell to his Link Gun at 7:38, KST to the Bio Rifle at 8:32 and Strelko again three seconds later. At 8:53 a kill on Rozstrel registered his first Double Kill. By 9:50 he had reached twelve points, eliminating Strelko at close range while surviving on only three health points. His comeback was risky.
The overall pace rose sharply: the fifth match minute produced eleven kills, the ninth fourteen, and the eleventh fifteen. Rachot earned Double Kills at 6:22, with the Flak Cannon against Strelko, and 10:13, against Ostrelovac. The longest uninterrupted spree belonged elsewhere: Ostrelovac claimed six kills from 7:06 to 9:24. Strelko ended that run at 9:24. A long streak was impressive, but in this free-for-all it was not the same as controlling the scoreboard.
The revolving lead and the long-distance surprise
The top spot became a revolving door. Rachot reached thirteen at 10:13; Strelko led on fifteen at 10:54; Rachot regained first place with sixteen at 11:31; and Strelko answered with seventeen at 11:47. Meanwhile the match’s busiest head-to-head rivalry did not involve the eventual winner. Hlavicka and Strelko exchanged nineteen kills, ten scored by Hlavicka and nine by Strelko. Their repeated collisions were a separate contest inside the main contest.
At 14:36 and 14:37 Ironguard scored consecutive Link Gun kills, then added KST at 14:39 for the match’s only level-two Multi Kill. Twelve seconds later he eliminated Rozstrel with a Bio Rifle shot from 54.1 metres, the longest recorded kill, and reached twenty-two points. Strelko soon matched him and led again at 15:47 on twenty-three. Rozstrel was a master of instant replies, collecting eight revenge kills; Hlavicka registered seven. Neither could turn that ferocity into the thirty-point winning total.
The final seconds decide everything
The leaders kept swapping pressure late on. Rachot reached twenty-four at 16:49, Strelko twenty-six at 17:07 and Ironguard twenty-six with a Shock Rifle elimination of KST at 18:04. Minute nineteen, the interval from 18:00 to 18:59, was the busiest of all with eighteen kills. Strelko rose to twenty-eight at 18:24. KST then produced a closing flurry of Shock Combos, including a Double Kill against Strelko at 18:57, and continued scoring with the Enforcer.
At 18:41 Ironguard had cut Strelko’s lead to 28–27 with a Shock Combo. Strelko extended his score to twenty-nine by killing Ostrelovac with the Stinger at 19:05. Ironguard answered against Rachot at 19:06 and then against Strelko at 19:11, tying the fight at 29–29. The final log entry is timed 19:19: Ironguard, Link Gun, victim Rachot, thirtieth point. The entire contest ended with a one-point margin; there was no time left for the runner-up to respond.

The log provides no coordinates, so spatial kill clusters cannot be established reliably; player-average kill ranges ran from 9.9 to 14.8 metres. Ironguard’s Bio Rifle elimination of Rozstrel from 54.1 metres at 14:51 was the notable outlier.
