Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Hlavicka (134 dmg) · airborne kills: 15 · gutsiest kill: Zabijak (3 HP)
Match verdict: KST won Deathmatch on DM-Deck 30–10 because the five-kill streak from 3:19 to 5:12 created a margin reinforced by eleven Link Gun kills. With direct duels tied 9–9, superior results against other opponents and a zero-to-eight suicide difference explained the victory.

MVP KST posted thirty points, fourteen immediate revenge kills, a five-kill streak and zero suicides. Hlavicka claimed the 58.8-metre distance record and eighteen kills, although eight self-kills damaged the score; Zabijak packed a headshot and Double Kill into just 194 seconds.
KST rules DM-Deck as Hlavicka fights to the final kill
The lead changed twice on DM-Deck, but KST turned close fights into a commanding advantage.
Eighteen minutes on DM-Deck, seven names in the standings and a target score of thirty: match 271 had everything needed for an unpredictable firefight. Deathmatch (Normal) punished mistakes, as self-inflicted deaths erased points earned in combat. KST eventually won 30–10 over Hlavicka, although the runner-up registered eighteen kills. Rachot, Strelko and the late arrivals were more than background characters: their battles shaped each streak and counterattack. The match log tells a more intricate story than the final score. A spectacular long-range Shock Combo, two early lead changes, a five-kill run and an absolutely even head-to-head contest all preceded a finish decided at the eighteen-minute mark.
A Bio Rifle first blood and a long-range response
The opening record at 0:08 was Strelko accidentally killing himself with a Bio Rifle. The authoritative first blood followed at 0:15: KST eliminated Strelko with that same weapon from 11.3 metres. At 0:47 Hlavicka answered spectacularly, hitting KST with a Shock Combo from 58.8 metres, the longest kill of the match. A Rocket Launcher hit at 1:07 put Hlavicka ahead 2–1 and caused the first lead change.
Rachot also removed KST at 1:14, then hit Strelko with a Link Gun from just 0.9 metres at 1:26. Strelko returned fire with a Flak Cannon kill in that very second. KST regained momentum with a Bio Rifle kill on Rachot at 1:29, followed by two Link Gun kills on Strelko and Rachot at 1:38 and 1:43. The resulting 4–2 lead over Hlavicka marked the second and final change of leadership. The lead would be threatened, but never surrendered again.
Redeemer risks and the decisive five-kill run
At 2:05, Hlavicka paid for a Redeemer blast with a self-kill, yet one second later the same weapon killed Rachot. Hlavicka then eliminated Strelko with a Flak Cannon at 2:12. Rachot fought back, landing a Shock Combo on Hlavicka at 2:31 and a Shock Rifle shot on KST at 2:36. Seven kills were registered in the second minute, the busiest according to the computed summary; the twelfth minute also reached seven. Explosions made noise, but not always net points.
The crucial passage began at 3:19 when KST hit Strelko with a Stinger. KST then took down Hlavicka three times at 4:17, 4:25 and 4:34 using Shock Combo and Bio Rifle, before another Stinger kill on Rachot at 5:12. Five consecutive eliminations formed the match's authoritative longest streak. Hlavicka ended it with a rocket at 5:24, but by 5:38 KST was already up 11–3 against Hlavicka. The run transformed a contested opening into a lead no individual counterattack could erase.
Close-range pressure and the cost of self-kills
KST defeated Hlavicka again with a Bio Rifle at 6:01 and a Link Gun at 6:43, reaching thirteen points. Hlavicka refused to disappear: at 7:10 and 7:12, Stinger and Link Gun eliminations of Rachot and KST earned a Double Kill. Strelko twice caught KST with a Shock Combo, at 6:51 and 7:22. In this arena, a clear score advantage never meant a safe route through the next corridor. By 8:41, however, KST had fifteen points while Hlavicka had six.
The tally was also shaped by self-inflicted losses. Hlavicka finished with eight suicides, including a 9:27 Redeemer sequence that killed Strelko and Hlavicka. Rachot's thirteen kills produced only eight points because of five suicides; Strelko managed nine kills but scored four. The Link Gun led every weapon with twenty kills across the match, eleven of them credited to KST. Shorter-range consistency proved more useful than a handful of dramatic blasts.
Equal rivals, unequal efficiency and a rare silence
KST reached twenty points by 11:28, but Rachot still landed a Sniper Rifle shot on KST at 11:38 and a Bio Rifle kill on Strelko at 11:44. Strelko caught KST with a rocket at 11:57. At 13:00, Thespecialist defeated KST with a Flak Cannon; the log then shows the match's longest gap without a kill, precisely forty-eight seconds. There is no need to invent an unseen chase to fill that silence: the event record simply contains no kill.
KST and Hlavicka traded nine direct eliminations each, eighteen between them, making theirs the most active rivalry. Yet the end result was 30–10. KST recorded fourteen immediate revenge kills, against four for Hlavicka, and committed no suicides at all. The computed average lifetime was fifty-one seconds for KST and forty-one for Hlavicka. Being equal in one duel was not enough: points had to be won against everyone else, and they had to be kept.
Late Double Kills and the final Stinger shot
At 14:39 and 14:44 KST eliminated Thespecialist twice using a Link Gun, advancing to twenty-three. Zabijak briefly stopped KST with a Link Gun at 15:00, surviving with only three health points, but KST retaliated at 15:12. Another Link Gun kill on Thespecialist two seconds later gave KST a Double Kill and twenty-five points. A further Link Gun hit on Zabijak at 15:42 brought the tally to twenty-six. Victory was now a question of time rather than a credible comeback.
Hlavicka still eliminated KST with a rocket at 15:49 and a Redeemer at 16:05, although that explosion also cost Hlavicka a point. A Shock Combo Double Kill on Thespecialist followed at 16:14. Zabijak, active for only 194 seconds, delivered a Sniper Rifle headshot on Thespecialist at 17:22, then eliminated KST at 17:35 and Hlavicka at 17:37 for a Double Kill. KST reached twenty-nine points at 17:16. Exactly at 18:00, a Stinger kill on Hlavicka sealed the 30–10 result.

The twenty-point victory margin does not tell the whole story. Hlavicka matched KST nine to nine in their direct encounters and owned the longest-range kill. Rachot, Strelko and Zabijak all interrupted the eventual winner at different moments. What separated KST was repeatability: eleven Link Gun kills, an early five-kill streak, fourteen immediate revenge kills and absolutely no suicides. On DM-Deck, one enormous explosion mattered less than turning the next engagement into another useful point. The final shot arriving exactly at eighteen minutes made a fitting punctuation mark for a result built steadily throughout the match.
