MVP is Jano: 30 points, 25 Flak Cannon kills and ten immediate revenge kills. Spawnak earns the streak award for five kills before Rozsekac stopped him; BUZZDEM and Presnak also registered Double Kills. The patience award goes to anyone who survived the 28-second lull.
Jano conquers Amphitryon in a wild Flak Cannon battle
Klicka struck first, Spawnak built the streak, but Jano wrote the final chapter.
DM-Amphitryon hosted another UT3.sk showdown on October 17, 2026, and this Normal Deathmatch wasted no time. Ten competitors appeared during 970 seconds, the recorded lead changed four times, and the target was 30 points. Yet the eventual winner was nowhere near the top at the start. Klicka, Spawnak, BUZZDEM and Rozsekac dominated the opening exchanges while Jano did not record a kill until second 204. What followed was not an effortless march from the opening whistle, but a determined recovery powered by repeated accurate shots. Even the winner made an expensive mistake along the way. In this arena every point mattered, especially those thrown away by your own weapon.
First blood and the five-kill opening burst
Klicka drew first blood just 11 seconds in, hitting Spawnak with a Bio Rifle from 4.9 metres. Seven seconds later BUZZDEM also killed Spawnak, this time using the Flak Cannon. But the early target quickly became a hunter. From seconds 24 to 69, Spawnak scored against Rozsekac, BUZZDEM and Klicka, building a five-kill streak and registering a Double Kill at second 54. Rozsekac finally ended that run with a Link Gun kill at second 78.
The second minute was the busiest of the whole match, producing 14 kills. BUZZDEM claimed a Double Kill at second 81; Spawnak kept pushing, while Rozsekac fought through repeated deaths. At second 96, Spawnak and Rozsekac even eliminated each other at the same recorded time. Nobody was getting a comfortable seat on the leaderboard. The early contest already looked less like orderly target practice and more like an argument conducted entirely with projectiles.
Jano enters late while the rivals pile up points
At second 191, Spawnak killed Jano with the Flak Cannon, then completed another Double Kill against Rozsekac at second 194. Spawnak stood on eleven points; Jano still had none. Jano finally scored against BUZZDEM with the Link Gun at second 204. Then came Flak Cannon kills against Rozsekac at 218, BUZZDEM at 222 and Spawnak at 238. At 4–13, the comeback was still only a possibility, but it was taking shape.
The early leaders continued collecting points. Spawnak reached 14, Rozsekac eventually 15 and BUZZDEM 12. Jano even shot himself with the Flak Cannon at second 280, dropping his score from five to four. At second 302, Rozsekac hit him with the Enforcer from 23.6 metres. The future champion was not invulnerable; far from it. The crucial difference was that he kept finding another productive fight after each setback rather than relying on one short-lived burst.
The Flak Cannon takes command
The change became clearer around the seventh minute. Jano hit BUZZDEM at second 391, then delivered the longest recorded kill of the match at second 407: a Flak Cannon shot on BUZZDEM from 32.3 metres. That is an eye-catching distance for a weapon usually associated with closer engagements. Another kill against mike1234 at second 410 completed a Double Kill. Jano steadily climbed to ten points by second 448.
Presnak would not let him cruise. Starting with Rozsekac at second 465, Presnak also killed Jano at 469 and had four kills by second 518. Rozsekac reached his fifteenth point at second 479, but soon met Jano’s accuracy three times: at 529, 535 and 546, Jano eliminated him with the Flak Cannon. This was not a comeback built on one lucky explosion. It was the result of repeatedly winning available duels, while former leaders lost their hold on the action.
Revenge, Double Kills and a 28-second silence
Vybusnina entered the later action and made the Link Gun a constant problem for opponents. Jano crossed 15 points by killing Vybusnina at second 605, then scored on mike1234 at 619 and earned point 20 against Vybusnina at 690. Presnak scored a Double Kill on Jano at second 658, only for Jano to return the favour with his own Double Kill at 762. Presnak struck back with yet another Double Kill on Jano at 791. This was an exchange of receipts, not polite applause.
After the kill at second 791, the match endured its longest quiet stretch: 28 seconds, until Vybusnina killed Presnak at 819. Jano then eliminated mike1234 at 824 and Presnak at 834, reaching 25 points. He was later killed by Deemer and Mlatic, yet the lead survived. His average kill distance was 11.4 metres, while his average life lasted 44 seconds. Those figures suggest a player who could sustain repeated engagements rather than merely sprint into the next firefight.
The final five points and the last shot
Vybusnina reached twelve personal kills at second 920, but a suicide at 930 left her with eleven scoreboard points. Jano, meanwhile, landed Shock Rifle kills on Deemer at 926 and mike1234 at 929. His Flak Cannon eliminated mike1234 again at 953, leaving just two points between him and the finish line.
Deemer answered by killing Vybusnina at 955, but Jano hit Deemer at 958 and again at 969, both times with the Flak Cannon. The final shot brought Jano to 30 points and ended the battle after 970 seconds, or 16 minutes and 10 seconds. Jano had 31 kills, 17 deaths and one suicide. Of those kills, 25 came from the Flak Cannon, three from the Link Gun and three from the Shock Rifle. This time the last word was not a metaphor. It came loaded with flak.

The scoreboard shows a big winning margin, but it cannot by itself explain how hard Jano had to work to get there. Spawnak owned the longest five-kill streak, while his confrontation with Rozsekac generated fourteen direct kills. Presnak continued to trouble Jano late in the match, and Vybusnina applied steady pressure with the Link Gun. But Jano recorded ten immediate revenge kills, the most of anyone, and retained the ability to score through interruptions. Not a single headshot was registered. This was a contest of repeatable advantages, not one perfect sniper moment. The punchline is fitting: the man who lost a point to his own Flak Cannon ultimately used it to end the match.
