Anub1ss Arrived Late and Took Over All of DM-BitterEnd
He stayed out of the main fight for thirteen minutes, then turned DM-BitterEnd into his firing range in less than eight.
DM-BitterEnd began without the eventual winner in the starring role. For more than thirteen minutes, hemeroid, Zamerovac, Trajbalajka, Jano and later greg417 traded control, while the lead kept moving. The first clean signature came after only 15 seconds: hemeroid hit Jano with the Sniper Rifle for the authoritative first blood. The match eventually produced five lead changes, plenty of close-range chaos and more than a few self-inflicted mistakes. When Anub1ss appeared in the kill log at 13:21, however, the Deathmatch split into two distinct stories: everything before his arrival, and the avalanche that followed it.
Early minutes: hemeroid opened, Zamerovac pushed forward
hemeroid followed first blood by hitting Jano again and had two points after 50 seconds. Jano answered with the Flak Cannon against Trajbalajka and hemeroid, only to remove one of his own points with a Flak suicide at 1:29. Zamerovac forced his way into the race with the Link Gun and later the Flak Cannon, moving into a solo lead on three points at 2:46. Trajbalajka kept returning to the front and briefly held four points alone after his kill at 2:59.
No single player owned the opening. hemeroid, Zamerovac and Trajbalajka rotated through the lead, matching the match total of five lead changes. Jano was dangerous at close range but paid for the aggression with seven suicides across the game. Zamerovac leaned heavily on the Link Gun for five of his ten kills and, before leaving after 457 seconds, posted ten kills with one suicide for a score of nine.
hemeroid held the lead while greg417 added Shock Combos
After Zamerovac left, the front gradually cleared for hemeroid. He reached ten points at 7:40 and climbed to 15 by 13:15, with the Sniper Rifle remaining his most productive weapon. Trajbalajka stayed within range, Jano kept collecting Flak and Rocket Launcher kills, and greg417 began his own climb after 7:58. His later run included three Shock Combo kills, adding a different threat to the usual rockets and flak shards.
The pace was uneven. After the kill at 11:47, the match went through its longest dry spell: 44 seconds without a kill, finally broken by Trajbalajka at 12:31. Up to that point, most minutes contained between three and seven kills. At 13:20 hemeroid had 15 points, Trajbalajka 11, Jano six and greg417 four. One second later, Anub1ss fired his first Sniper Rifle kill and began a chase from the very back.
Anub1ss lost one duel, then stopped dying
Anub1ss opened by killing hemeroid at 13:21 and then hit Jano. greg417 stopped him at 14:11 with the Shock Rifle and became the only player to kill Anub1ss all match. That was also the last end of an Anub1ss life: from his Impact Hammer kill on greg417 at 14:43 he started a 28-kill spree that nobody ended. His average life of 279 seconds towered over Zamerovac's 50, hemeroid's and Trajbalajka's 44, greg417's 40 and Jano's 35.
It was not a one-weapon run. Anub1ss scored 17 kills with the Sniper Rifle, eight with the Flak Cannon, two with the Impact Hammer and one each with the Shock Rifle, a fall from height and the Stinger. At 17:05 he sniped hemeroid from 45.5 metres, the longest kill of the match. His average kill distance was also the highest at 20.2 m, ahead of Trajbalajka 15.3, hemeroid 13.7, greg417 13.5, Zamerovac 13.4 and Jano 8.6 m.
The lead changed hands, then the wildest minute arrived
hemeroid still reached 19 points at 18:54 and looked like the natural candidate to reach 30 first. Anub1ss was accelerating, though. At 19:23 he tied the match at 19, and fourteen seconds later he sniped hemeroid to move ahead 20:19. He never gave the lead back. Kills on Jano, hemeroid, Trajbalajka and greg417 followed, and the scoreboard began moving at a speed nobody else could match.
The 21st minute was the busiest of the match with nine kills. During that closing surge Anub1ss moved from 24 to 27, while Jano and hemeroid traded instant kills at 20:41 and greg417 continued to fight around them. hemeroid even reached 20 points at 20:41, but a Rocket Launcher suicide at 21:20 dropped him back to 19. Anub1ss added numbers 28 and 29, then finished at 21:29 with a Stinger kill on Trajbalajka for point 30.

The final 30:19 score looks one-sided, but the first thirteen-plus minutes told a very different story. hemeroid owned first blood, led for a long stretch and, like Anub1ss, recorded ten revenge kills; Trajbalajka had five, Zamerovac four, Jano three and greg417 one. The decisive difference was that, after his lone death, Anub1ss never gave the field another opening. His 28-kill spree survived to the final frag, turning a late entrance into a finish so fast that the scoreboard barely had time to catch up.
