The undisputed MVP is Anub1ss for a 30-kill spree, four headshots, and a deathless match. trajbalajko earns the fast-start prize, Jano and trajbalajko share the revenge award with two each, and Jano gets the costliest-rocket trophy for a kill and suicide in the same second.

Anub1ss Goes Deathless and Rules Rankin by 30 to 7

Rankin can be cramped, loud, and merciless, and this Deathmatch began in ordinary fashion: four players, a 30-point target, and a frantic search for the right weapon. At 0:13, trajbalajko opened the scoring by dropping Jano with the Stinger. Six seconds later, Anub1ss answered with a rocket against trajbalajko. It looked like a simple equalizer at 1–1, yet it became the first step in a spree nobody would stop. While hemeroid also fought his own Shock Combo and Jano tried to keep pace with rockets, Anub1ss steadily turned DM-Rankin-2010 into a carefully measured shooting range.

First blood, a brief lead, and the only turn

trajbalajko made the sharpest start. His first blood on Jano came at 0:13, and at 0:40 he used the Shock Rifle on Jano again to lead 2–1. In between, hemeroid accidentally sent his score to −1 with a self-inflicted Shock Combo. Jano replied at 0:56 with a rocket, but the decisive shift was already forming elsewhere.

After his rocket at 0:19, Anub1ss added a Sniper Rifle kill on hemeroid and tied the lead at 2–2. At 1:08 he caught trajbalajko with a Shock Combo, reached three points, and produced the match’s only lead change. Seven seconds later he rocketed hemeroid, then sniped Jano at 1:16 for the first Double Kill. From then on, the table was no longer about who led, but about how far Anub1ss would escape.

The rifle sets the rhythm

The second minute joined the eighth as the busiest stretch, with seven kills. Anub1ss moved from three points to eight while alternating the Shock Rifle and Sniper Rifle. hemeroid recovered from negative territory with a rocket and Flak Cannon, but the leader kept answering with greater accuracy. By 2:45, when Anub1ss reached ten, the gap already felt like a separate time zone.

Two headshots on hemeroid arrived between 2:59 and 3:20, with another rocket in between. The sniper worked even at ranges shorter than its job description suggested. At 1:55 it showed its classic reach: Anub1ss hit Jano from 38 meters for the longest kill of the match. Jano later answered trajbalajko with a 30.7-meter rocket, but the top never moved. By four minutes Anub1ss had 16 and a second Double Kill, combining a Shock Combo on trajbalajko with a headshot on Jano one second later.

The only silence changes nothing

The middle phase offered a strange contrast. trajbalajko, hemeroid, and Jano traded points, lost some to suicides, and searched for a route to second place. trajbalajko used a Shock Combo on Jano at 4:17, hemeroid landed a 35.6-meter Enforcer shot on Jano at 4:53, and at 5:41 Jano rocketed trajbalajko—but the same blast also killed Jano, instantly erasing the point. Rankin was issuing receipts with no refunds.

Anub1ss continued without a death: BioRifle, Sniper Rifle, Shock Combo, then the rifle again. After his shot on trajbalajko at 6:07 came the longest pause, 38 seconds without a kill. He ended it at 6:45 by sniping Jano, and the 23–2 score showed that the break had not cooled him. His average kill distance was a match-high 18.1 meters, but his weapon changes mattered more. His rivals averaged lives of only 28 to 31 seconds; his one life lasted all 569.

A flak-powered finish and the thirtieth seal

The race for silver finally caught fire late. Jano used the Stinger to climb past trajbalajko, then surrendered another point with his second rocket suicide at 7:18. Anub1ss kept advancing through 24, 25, 26, and 27, with his fourth headshot arriving against Jano at 7:47. trajbalajko then drew the Flak Cannon and, from 8:16 to 8:32, eliminated Jano, hemeroid, and Jano again. The first two hits formed a Double Kill and opened the route to second place.

Anub1ss halted that surge one second later with the sniper, while his own spree remained untouched. hemeroid answered with a BioRifle Double Kill on Jano and trajbalajko, Jano rocketed hemeroid, and trajbalajko flakked Jano at 9:25. The final word still belonged to the leader: at 9:28, Anub1ss sniped trajbalajko, reached 30, and sealed the 30–7–5–4 result. Thirty kills, zero deaths, and a spree spanning the entire match—dominance in sporting language, a restraining order in everyday speech.

The match featured another player’s first blood, immediate revenge kills, four Double Kills in total, and a genuine fight for second, but the story at the top became one-way traffic at 1:08. Anub1ss leaned on the Sniper Rifle, added Shock Combos, rockets, and the BioRifle, and never gave anyone a chance to stop his spree. Rankin closed after nine minutes and 28 seconds with all thirty targets checked off.

Player verdicts
  • CZ Anub1ss — A perfect 30–0 kills-to-deaths line, control at every range, and no weak phase. The Sniper Rifle was the main instrument, but instant weapon selection was the deeper advantage.
  • SK trajbalajko — He took first blood, briefly led, and won second place with a late Flak Cannon surge and seven points. One suicide reduced eight kills, and he never found an answer to the leader.
  • FR hemeroid — He recovered from an early self-inflicted Shock Combo and finished on five with a late BioRifle Double Kill. Six kills showed danger, but 17 deaths prevented sustained pressure.
  • SK Jano — His rockets and Stinger repeatedly influenced the fight for second, and he earned two immediate revenge kills. Two suicides turned six kills into four points, while 28-second average lives denied him map control.

    Who killed with what

Each player's kills split by weapon. Reveals every fighter's favorite tool.

The Sniper Rifle led the match with 17 kills; Anub1ss supplied all 17 and all four headshots. The Rocket Launcher added 10, the Shock Combo 7, and the Flak Cannon 6, including trajbalajko’s late charge.

Anub1ss treated Rankin as linked firing lanes: the Sniper Rifle covered open angles, Shock Combos controlled transitions, and rockets or BioRifle handled close range. He maintained spacing rather than chasing blindly and survived even on low health. trajbalajko found an effective plan only late, switching to the Flak Cannon in tight areas. The others re-entered fights too often without stable item and weapon control, which the leader punished on contact.
