biggest overkill: Jano (99 dmg) · airborne kills: 51 · gutsiest kill: Jano (3 HP)

hemeroid survives Korumi rocket finish to win 30:28
Jano fired first, hemeroid lasted longest, and two final rockets settled a match that never learned to calm down.
DM-1on1-Korumi was anything but a quiet duel. Five players turned the 871-second Deathmatch into a constant score scramble, and the tone was set immediately. Jano drew first blood after only five seconds, dropping Comboholic with the Rocket Launcher. Uskok answered by killing hemeroid and then Jano, taking a 2:1 lead after 19 seconds. hemeroid replied with two rocket kills one second apart and, after another frag on Comboholic at 34 seconds, moved alone to 3:1. From that point onward he became both the target of the map and the player nobody could permanently remove from first place.
Two lead changes and an opening rocket storm
The opening belonged to rockets. Jano scored first, Uskok passed him, then hemeroid killed Uskok and Jano at 29 and 30 seconds, the second frag completing a Double Kill. Four seconds later Comboholic fell as well. That was the second lead change, and although ties would return, nobody else would hold the lead alone.
Jano kept attacking with the Flak Cannon, but his first of seven suicides arrived at 57 seconds. hemeroid stretched to 5:3 with a rocket Double Kill at 91 and 92 seconds, while Comboholic answered with the Link Gun and a Double Kill of his own. The early chaos already revealed the long-term difference: hemeroid gave fewer points back to self-inflicted mistakes than Jano or Uskok.
Bio Rifle control and the spree that built the cushion
As the match settled, hemeroid increasingly mixed the Bio Rifle into his Rocket Launcher game. The Bio Rifle became his most productive weapon with 15 kills, while his average kill distance of 14.2 meters was the highest in the field. At 250 seconds he added his only headshot, sniping Uskok and showing that his threat was not tied to one range.
The decisive stretch ran from 314 to 427 seconds. hemeroid chained eight kills without dying, raising his score from 13 to 20. At 403 seconds he was ahead of Jano 20:12. Jano finally ended the spree with a rocket at 427 seconds, but the damage was done: the longest streak of the match had created the reserve hemeroid would spend for the rest of the game.
Jano closes, Roznetka changes the rhythm
Jano reacted hard after ending the spree, scoring at 438, 441 and 445 seconds, including another Double Kill. Then the match produced its strangest lull: 33 seconds without a frag after 497 seconds, an eternity in this lobby. hemeroid broke the silence at 530 with a Bio Rifle kill on Comboholic.
Roznetka entered the action late and immediately added another source of pressure. In only 285 seconds of play, Roznetka scored 16 kills, died just eight times and never committed a suicide. Comboholic then delivered the distance curiosity of the night at 644 seconds, hitting Jano with the Bio Rifle from 41.9 meters. It was not beyond the 50-meter sniper threshold, but for a Bio Rifle kill it was a remarkably long delivery.
The fourteenth minute and a finish on the edge
The 14th minute was the busiest, producing 14 kills. Roznetka scored five of them, Comboholic four, while Uskok and Jano had two each and hemeroid one. The leader stopped pulling away and Jano finally had a path back. He scored rocket kills at 814 and 819 seconds, then killed Comboholic at 851 and Uskok at 856 to tie the match 28:28.
That was as close as the comeback got. Roznetka stopped Jano with the Enforcer at 860, keeping him on 28. hemeroid then hit Uskok with a rocket at 869 for 29:28 and, two seconds later, struck Comboholic from 15.5 meters. The final frag was also a Double Kill and the 30th point. At exactly 871 seconds the board read hemeroid 30, Jano 28, Uskok 24, Comboholic 24 and Roznetka 16.

The final score was close, but the route to it was oddly uneven. Jano actually had more raw kills than the winner, 35 to 32, yet seven suicides erased the advantage and left him on 28 points. hemeroid gave only two points back that way, averaged 31 seconds per life and built his safety margin with the eight-kill spree. When Jano finally erased that margin at 28:28, hemeroid needed no elaborate finish: two clean rockets, a Double Kill and the game. Korumi rewarded the player who mixed pressure with fewer self-inflicted losses.
