Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: KST (121 dmg) · airborne kills: 33 · gutsiest kill: Mlatic (2 HP)
Match verdict: KST won because he turned the middle and late phases into a steady stream of Stinger and Shock Combo points after Trefa’s early advantage faded. Mlatic had match point at 29:28, but KST tied and took the final frag for a 30:29 win.

MVP goes to KST for 30 points and a comeback from a negative start; Trefa earns the longest-spree award with six kills, and Mlatic gets the long-range trophy for the 41 m Enforcer shot. KST and Mlatic also share the revenge crown with 11 each.
KST steals Trite at the death in a classic 30–29 thriller
A negative start became a chase, and one final frag separated KST from Mlatic’s victory.
DM-1on1-Trite produced exactly the kind of Deathmatch where the scoreboard matters until the final shot. KST made the opening as difficult as possible for himself, suiciding with the Shock Rifle in the 13th second and dropping to -1. Eleven seconds later he recovered with the official first blood, catching Granatnik with a Shock Combo to return to zero. The early command, however, belonged to Trefa. Two Flak Cannon kills on KST in seconds 34 and 42 launched the longest spree of the match, and for a while Trite looked like Trefa’s private firing range. KST did not panic; he rebuilt one point at a time and prepared a comeback that would not be completed until the very end.
Trefa bursts ahead while KST climbs out of the hole
After KST’s opening suicide and first blood on Granatnik in the 24th second, Trefa dictated the first real rhythm. Starting in the 34th second he assembled a six-kill spree, the longest of the match. The Flak Cannon was ideal in the tight spaces: KST fell twice, Granatnik repeatedly, and by the 225th second Trefa had reached 10 points while KST had only 4. Trefa also added an Enforcer Double Kill in the 199th second, making his lead look comfortable.
The spree did not come with a lifetime warranty. Mlatic ended it with the Flak Cannon in the 180th second, and the match fractured into smaller duels. Granatnik stayed close, Mlatic crept forward, and KST increasingly leaned on the Stinger. The bad start therefore became a long pursuit rather than a collapse. Life was short on the compact map: KST’s average life lasted only 24 seconds, the lowest of the four, leaving little room for slow, safe item collection.
The Stinger opens KST’s road back to the lead
The turn came in the middle phase. KST collected Stinger points in seconds 314, 322 and 328, then used the chaos around Trefa’s suicide and the following exchanges to close on the leaders. In the 371st second he hit Granatnik with the Stinger for point 12, and two seconds later he dropped Trefa with the same weapon. That completed a Double Kill and moved KST to 13, alone at the top for the first time in this phase. Trefa answered and the lead still shifted, but the early comfort was gone.
KST was not winning through one type of fight. He mixed the Stinger with Shock Combos, the Flak Cannon and the Sniper Rifle, and his average kill distance of 16.2 metres was the highest in the field. When he killed Trefa twice in a row with the Flak Cannon in seconds 487 and 495, he moved to 17:15. Granatnik immediately checked him with a rocket, yet the direction was obvious: the hunted player had become the one everyone else needed to chase.
Four players squeeze into one narrow scoring lane
From the ninth minute onward the match became a traffic jam. Mlatic killed KST in seconds 542 and 574, Trefa remained near the front, and Granatnik punished mistakes. In the 583rd second Mlatic tied KST at 18; nine seconds later Trefa also reached 18. KST took the next point with a Shock Combo on Granatnik in the 596th second, but Mlatic answered only one second later with a rocket on Trefa. It was 19:19 between the two players who would eventually decide the match.
Then came the longest quiet spell: after second 597, no kill occurred for 25 seconds. When fighting resumed, the pace rose again. The 13th minute produced 15 kills, the busiest minute of the match. Granatnik found a Stinger Double Kill, KST pushed to 23, and Mlatic accelerated with the Flak Cannon. In the 713th second Mlatic also killed KST with the Enforcer from 41 metres, the longest shot of the match — a pistol-range argument delivered from a distance usually reserved for a sniper rifle.
Mlatic reaches 29, but KST owns the final word
The finish became mainly a KST–Mlatic duel, the pair with 22 mutual kills, more than any other rivalry. Mlatic reached 25 with a Stinger Double Kill in the 724th second and moved ahead of KST. Soon he led 27:26; KST levelled at 28, but in the 778th second Mlatic sniped KST and took a 29:28 lead. One point from the goal, with less than a minute left, the next mistake could end everything.
KST did not wait for Mlatic to make that mistake. In the 802nd second he killed Granatnik with the Stinger to tie the match at 29:29. Granatnik stopped KST with a rocket in the 809th second, but that did not change KST’s score. The decision arrived in the 823rd second: KST found Trefa, landed a Shock Combo and reached the 30th point, ending the Deathmatch instantly. Mlatic remained on 29, Granatnik on 27 and Trefa on 22. After five lead changes, a single point settled it.

KST won a match that did not belong to him in the opening minutes. Trefa owned the longest spree, Mlatic became the first player to reach 29, and Granatnik remained dangerous until the final stretch, yet KST survived all three stories and wrote the last sentence. His 13 Stinger kills and seven Shock Combos formed the backbone of the comeback, while his 11 revenge kills tied Mlatic for the match high. Trite did not reward the smoothest journey; it rewarded the player who saved the most important frag for the 823rd second.
