KST steals CarbonFire with a furious final sprint win
Sundavac led for most of the match, but the last two minutes belonged to KST and his Shock Combo.
DM-CarbonFire delivered the kind of deathmatch where the scoreboard looked stable only when nobody was watching it. Sundavac drew first blood after six seconds, dropping Rambajz with the Stinger, and for a long stretch he looked like the player controlling the pace. KST started more slowly, then built his score through Shock Combo, Rocket Launcher and Link Gun. The match lasted 1090 seconds, the official data records five lead changes, and the winner was not settled until the final seconds. The 30:27 score therefore hides how often KST was only one clean exchange away from being pushed back again.
First sparks and Sundavac's launch
First blood arrived at six seconds when Sundavac hit Rambajz with the Stinger. Veteran answered just one second later with a Shock Rifle kill on Sundavac, so there was no warm-up phase. From second 36 Sundavac began the longest spree of the match: five consecutive kills lasting until second 150. Along the way he scored with the Flak Cannon, Stinger, Rocket Launcher and Link Gun, keeping himself ahead of the pack.
KST's first major statement came exactly at second 150. Two Shock Combos in quick succession removed Rambajz and Sundavac, produced a Double Kill and ended Sundavac's five-kill spree. Sixteen seconds later Rambajz answered with a Double Kill of his own, using the Stinger on KST and then Sundavac. At second 211 Rambajz added the technical highlight of the match, landing a Shock Rifle kill on KST from 54.2 metres, the longest recorded frag of the game.
Sundavac holds the front while scores compress
Around the fifth minute the table tightened dramatically. KST reached nine points at second 290, Veteran tied him two seconds later, and Sundavac soon pulled clear again. By the sixth minute Sundavac had 11 and was repeatedly finding Veteran with the Stinger, Rocket Launcher and Link Gun. KST stayed close enough to punish every opening, including two unusual kills credited as falls from height against Sundavac.
Sundavac's pressure was strongest in the middle section. At second 666 he held 20 points to KST's 16, but the advantage was fragile. Five Sundavac suicides kept shaving points away from an otherwise excellent frag count. KST did not have to cause those penalties directly; he only had to stay close enough to profit. Shock Combos on Veteran at 731 and Rambajz at 752, together with Sundavac's suicide at 746, turned the chase into a genuine fight for first place.
Twenty-all and a nervous run home
At second 833 KST killed Rambajz with the Link Gun and reached 20 points, level with Sundavac. Sundavac retook the lead at 848 and moved to 22:20 after killing KST at 872, but KST answered with Shock Combos on Sundavac and Rambajz. At 918 the score was tied again, 22:22. Sundavac then pushed to 24:22 before the longest quiet spell of the match arrived: 42 seconds without a kill after second 956.
The action after that pause set up the finish. Sundavac reached 25 at second 1008, but KST then removed Rambajz, Veteran and Veteran again to make it 25:25 at 1031. Thirteen seconds later came the pivotal hit: a Shock Combo on Sundavac for 26:25. Sundavac still answered, and his Stinger kill on KST at 1061 tied the match at 27:27. With 29 seconds left, the entire contest had effectively reset.
Minute eighteen: KST shuts the door
The eighteenth minute was officially the busiest of the match with nine kills. At second 1074 KST first forced Rambajz into a fall from height, then eliminated Sundavac in the same second by the same cause. The second frag counted as a Double Kill and instantly moved the score from 27:27 to 29:27. Sundavac had no time for another response, despite finishing with the same 32 total kills as KST.
The last word came at second 1090. KST killed Veteran with the Link Gun to hit the 30-point goal. His raw line was 32 kills, 27 deaths and two suicides; Sundavac also had 32 kills and 27 deaths, but five suicides left him on 27 points. KST also dealt the most damage in the lobby, 4482, and left his clearest weapon signature with 11 Shock Combo kills. CarbonFire was therefore decided not by one miracle frag, but by a cleaner finish and fewer self-inflicted losses.

KST won a match that spent most of its life looking like Sundavac's property. Sundavac had first blood, the longest spree, the most item pickups and still led 24:22 at second 956. The difference arrived only in the final stretch, where KST erased the gap, survived another 27:27 tie and collected the last three points of the game. Five official lead changes, nine kills in the busiest minute and identical kill totals for the top two give 30:27 the right context: this was not domination, but a better-managed finish.
