Spliff on fire: Vulgarus shoots his way to thirty kills
Freylih's flying start, Vulgarus's six-kill answer and a finish in which Spliff refused to settle down.
DM-1on1-Spliff wasted no time. After four seconds, Vulgarus dropped Strafan with the Rocket Launcher for first blood, but the lead vanished almost immediately. Freylih answered with two Flak Cannon kills one second apart, first on Strafan and then on Vulgarus, completing the match's only Double Kill and moving ahead 2:1. The opening minute made one thing clear: this Normal Deathmatch would not be a solo run. All three players found moments of control, and the score stayed tight until Vulgarus began turning rockets, flak and better survival into a more durable advantage.
Freylih grabs the first lead, Vulgarus keeps matching him
Freylih kept the early initiative, but Vulgarus repeatedly matched him. A Rocket Launcher kill at 35 seconds made it 2:2, Freylih moved ahead again at 44, and Strafan scored his first point at 61 with the Flak Cannon. Vulgarus tied Freylih 3:3 with a Shock Combo at 73 seconds, and another exchange produced 4:4 by 89 seconds.
The important break followed. Rocket Launcher kills on Freylih at 106 and 124 seconds put Vulgarus up 6:4. Freylih cut the gap with the Shock Rifle at 144, but after two early lead changes Vulgarus had begun to control the shape of the match rather than merely answer it.
Six unanswered kills create the decisive separation
From 154 to 265 seconds, Vulgarus produced the longest spree of the match: six kills without dying. He used the Flak Cannon for four of those points and the Shock Rifle for two, moving the score to 12:8 over Freylih while Strafan still had one. Freylih finally ended the run with a Shock Combo at 281 seconds.
The sixth minute, from 300 to 359 seconds, was the busiest with seven kills. All three players contributed as Strafan, Vulgarus and Freylih repeatedly interrupted one another. Vulgarus still held the best average life at 50 seconds, ahead of Freylih's 39 and Strafan's 35, a useful sign of why his advantage kept surviving these exchanges.
Flak rules the scoreboard, but styles remain distinct
The Flak Cannon dominated the weapon table with 22 of 64 kills. Vulgarus scored 11 with it and another nine with the Rocket Launcher, while Freylih leaned more heavily on Shock Rifle and Shock Combo. Strafan also favoured flak and rockets. No headshots were recorded, so the key difference was less about headshot precision and more about weapon choice, range and timing.
Freylih led average kill distance at 14.6 metres, just ahead of Vulgarus at 13.9 and Strafan at 10.4. He also owned the longest kill: a 43.3-metre Shock Rifle shot on Vulgarus at 783 seconds. Freylih collected the most items, 23, yet Vulgarus still dealt more damage, 4924, while taking less than Freylih.
A long silence, a late storm and two final blows
After Vulgarus reached 26 at 702 seconds, the match entered its longest lull: 69 seconds without a kill. He returned with point 27 at 771, but then took four quick deaths: Freylih hit the 43.3-metre Shock Rifle shot, Strafan answered with the Bio Rifle, Freylih added a Shock Combo and Strafan followed with the Shock Rifle. The lead survived, but the finish suddenly had noise again.
Freylih reached 18 at 823 seconds before Vulgarus answered seven seconds later for 28. Freylih still climbed to 20, finishing his scoring with an Impact Hammer kill at 871. Vulgarus closed the door with a Rocket Launcher kill on Freylih at 904 and a Flak Cannon kill on Strafan at 913, sealing 30:20:14.

The result was built less on one spectacular shot than on the cushion Vulgarus created in the middle phase. His 30 kills, 12 revenge kills and 50-second average life gave him room to keep converting weapon control into points. Freylih supplied the only Double Kill and the longest shot, while Strafan repeatedly disrupted both leaders and recorded nine revenge kills. The final 30:20:14 looks comfortable, but the match itself was much more active than the ten-point gap to second place suggests.
