Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: sergey2203 (173 dmg) · airborne kills: 34 · gutsiest kill: Anub1ss (2 HP)
Match verdict: The decisive factor was the transition from greg417 rocket control in the middle to the hyperactive 11th minute, when Anub1ss recovered both contact and the lead. A broader arsenal, a seven-kill spree and a stronger finish carried Anub1ss to a 45:28 win over greg417.

MVP goes to Anub1ss for the win, 47 kills, 5204 damage and a seven-kill spree. greg417 earns the rocket licence and revenge prize with 13 revenge kills; sergey2203 gets the long-range signature at 46.2 m, and Deemer owns first blood.
Anub1ss turns Spliff around in a frantic late finish
Spliff began with sniping, shifted to rockets, and ended with Anub1ss holding his nerve in the final minute.
DM-1on1-Spliff produced a deathmatch that refused to settle into a comfortable rhythm. Deemer drew first blood at 0:23, dropping greg417 with the Flak Cannon, only for greg417 to answer with a Rocket Launcher in the same second. Four seconds later Anub1ss entered the story by sniping sergey2203. That frag launched a seven-kill spree, but it did not launch an easy victory. The lead changed seven times, greg417 found a powerful Rocket Launcher phase in the middle of the map, and the kill log was still tight in the final minute. Spliff delivered exactly the sort of fight its compact geometry encourages: short-range collisions, immediate revenge and almost no room to relax.
First blood, the first spree and Anub1ss on the scope
Deemer opened the match without ceremony. At 0:23 he hit greg417 with the Flak Cannon from 7.6 metres and claimed first blood. greg417 answered almost instantly with the Rocket Launcher, so the first advantage lasted less time than a pickup on a busy spawn. Then Anub1ss arrived: at 0:27 he killed sergey2203 with the Sniper Rifle, and by 1:15 he had five points. His last two hits in that burst, on greg417 and sergey2203, formed a Double Kill. The only headshot of the match came in that pair, with sergey2203 on the receiving end.
Anub1ss stretched the run to seven kills between 0:27 and 2:17. It was not a pure sniper show; he mixed in the Flak Cannon and later the Bio Rifle. During this phase he controlled the pace better than the field and kept his deaths farther apart. greg417 finally ended the spree with a rocket at 2:17. That frag was the first clear warning that the early lead would not come with a warranty.
greg417 brings the rockets and compresses the table
From the middle of the third minute, greg417 began forcing his way back into the fight for first. The Rocket Launcher suited the map perfectly: hits from a few metres, pressure in tight spaces and quick punishment for a bad line. Between 2:25 and 3:18 he collected Deemer and sergey2203 repeatedly, while at 3:21 Anub1ss used a Shock Combo to make it 9:9. Thirteen seconds later Anub1ss moved to 10:9, but greg417 reached ten at 3:44 and the match still had no stable owner.
sergey2203 and Deemer kept interfering with both leaders. sergey2203 used the Bio Rifle as an awkward brake on players trying to build momentum, while Deemer harvested close flak fights. At 4:37 Deemer even produced a Double Kill: a Shock Combo on sergey2203 followed by a Flak Cannon kill on Anub1ss. One second later Anub1ss paid him back with the Shock Rifle. Those immediate counterpunches became a theme of the match; a safe lead on Spliff was mostly a theoretical concept.
Seven lead changes and the rocket reign of greg417
The middle of the match brought the largest swing. After an Anub1ss suicide penalty at 6:32, greg417 entered his strongest passage. He hit Deemer with the Rocket Launcher at 6:33 and added sergey2203 three seconds later for a Double Kill. More rocket points followed against Deemer and Anub1ss. At 7:10 greg417 stood on 19 in the kill log while Anub1ss had 15; by 7:48, after a Bio Rifle kill on Anub1ss, he led 21:17. greg417 finished with 15 Rocket Launcher kills, the highest single-weapon total by any player.
Anub1ss refused to disappear. He cut the gap with the Stinger, used Flak and rockets against sergey2203, and kept contact with the leader through Shock Combos. When greg417 killed Anub1ss with a rocket at 8:17 and then recorded a rocket suicide in the same second, the table remained open. greg417 also produced 13 revenge kills, the most in the match, so any exchange with him had a habit of growing a second act.
Minute eleven: twelve kills and the decisive reversal
The finish arrived with no brakes. The 11th minute was the busiest of the match with 12 kills, and that was exactly where Anub1ss built the decisive sequence. From 9:24 to 10:07 he hit sergey2203 with a rocket, Deemer with a 43.9-metre rocket, added a Double Kill against sergey2203, then continued with the Bio Rifle and two flak hits. He dropped greg417 with the Flak Cannon at 10:05 and completed another Double Kill on sergey2203 two seconds later. greg417 remained close and still had 26 in the log at 10:32, but Anub1ss reached 26:26 only fifteen seconds later.
Meanwhile, sergey2203 delivered the longest kill of the match: at 9:15 he hit greg417 with the Sniper Rifle from 46.2 metres. The final decision, however, came at close range. A Bio Rifle kill on greg417 at 10:56 put Anub1ss ahead 29:28. Deemer added one more point against sergey2203 at 11:00, but the last frag belonged to Anub1ss: at 11:15 he hit greg417 with the Flak Cannon from 2.1 metres and closed the kill log at 30:28. The final player summary records Anub1ss as the winner on 45 points, ahead of greg417 on 28.

After eleven minutes and fifteen seconds, Spliff was left covered in small debts waiting to be repaid. Anub1ss finished with the most kills, the most damage, 30 collected items and an average kill distance of 14.4 metres, yet the road to victory was anything but straight. greg417 took the lead in the middle through relentless rocket pressure, while sergey2203 and Deemer repeatedly disrupted both front-runners. The match was decided only in the final phase, when Anub1ss turned the chaos of the 11th minute into a string of points and sealed the log with a close-range flak shot. There is a neat statistical punchline too: in a match where rockets produced the most kills, the Flak Cannon had the final word.
