Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Gibko (135 dmg) · airborne kills: 33 · gutsiest kill: hemeroid (2 HP)
Match verdict: The decisive phase was Jano's seven-kill spree from 0:54 to 2:08, after which he took the lead and never lost it. Suicides plus pressure from Drtic and Gibko repeatedly narrowed the gap, but 23 rocket kills and 18 revenge kills kept Jano ahead to 30; Drtic and Gibko finished on 24.

Katami under rockets: Jano storms to thirty points
Drtic opened with flak, but Jano answered with a seven-kill rocket surge and owned the final word.
DM-1on1-Katami hosted a match that began with one clean hit and quickly turned into a crowded firefight. Drtic struck Jano with the Flak Cannon after only seven seconds to claim the authoritative first blood. One second later hemeroid answered Drtic with the Rocket Launcher, making it obvious that nobody would be allowed to settle. Jano needed a short warm-up, but once the rockets started landing he changed the pace of the entire game. The target was 30 points, and Jano reached it first even though six suicides repeatedly cut into his own score.
Flak opened the door, rockets blew it off
The opening belonged to Drtic. First blood at 0:07, another frag on hemeroid at 0:26 and a third point against Jano at 0:54 gave him the early advantage. Yet in that same 54th second Jano answered Drtic with the Rocket Launcher, starting the strongest run of the match. By 2:08 he had collected seven kills without dying, hitting both hemeroid and Drtic, adding a Double Kill at 1:50 and reaching eight points by 2:07. Drtic finally stopped the run with flak at 2:08.
That sequence became the first major turning point. The match recorded only one lead change, and after Drtic's opening push Jano settled into first place. His Rocket Launcher was not just a favorite label: he scored 23 kills with it across the match. Drtic remained dangerous at close range with the Flak Cannon and later the Link Gun, but Jano now controlled both the lead and the rhythm.
Gibko arrived and the middle became crowded
After the longest quiet spell, 37 seconds from the kill at 3:17 until action resumed at 3:54, the fight accelerated again. At 4:01 Gibko entered the kill log and immediately took down Drtic with flak. Seconds later Double Kills were appearing on several sides: hemeroid caught one at 4:11, Gibko dropped hemeroid at 4:28, and the standings grew increasingly compressed as more encounters piled up.
Gibko was far from a background character. Although he played 587 seconds, he still produced 26 kills and a six-kill spree. Through the middle phase he rotated between the Flak Cannon, Link Gun, Stinger and rockets. Jano kept the lead, but his own suicides repeatedly shaved it down. At 4:34, for example, he killed Drtic with a rocket and blew himself up in the same second. Katami punished excessive aggression immediately.
Minute eight: eleven kills and no breathing room
The eighth minute was the busiest, with eleven kills. Around that stretch hemeroid pushed with the Bio Rifle and Rocket Launcher, Drtic gathered points with the Link Gun, and Gibko kept forcing close flak fights. Jano moved to 16 at 7:29 with a Bio Rifle kill, only for Gibko to take him out five seconds later. Drtic then hit Jano again at 7:44 and 7:56 with the Link Gun before adding a Double Kill through Gibko.
The longest shot of the match also landed inside this chaos. At 8:18 Drtic hit hemeroid with the Sniper Rifle from 41.4 meters. That was far beyond the normal range of this game, where average kill distances were much shorter: Jano 8.8 m, Drtic 9.5 m, Gibko 6.2 m and hemeroid 12 m. For one moment Drtic showed he could punish from afar as well as elbow through tight corridors.
Pressure tightened before the finish
After the tenth minute the lead was no longer comfortable. Jano sat on 21, Drtic climbed to 20 and then 21, while Gibko and hemeroid stayed close enough for every exchange to reshuffle the chase. At 10:59 Jano flakked Drtic to move to 22:21; 23 seconds later he broke through with a rocket for 23:22. Drtic answered with a Shock Combo on Gibko, but he never pulled Jano out of first place.
Jano's response after taking damage was also crucial. The computed data gives him 18 revenge kills, the most in the match, ahead of Drtic's 12, Gibko's 11 and hemeroid's 8. The finish therefore was not passive score protection. After dying, Jano repeatedly went straight for an answer, keeping his total moving even while the exchanges stayed chaotic.
Thirty arrived on a rocket
From 12:41 the finish accelerated. Jano rocketed hemeroid for point 27, then took a hit from Gibko before striking Drtic at 13:04 and Gibko at 13:08 to reach 29. The others still managed three frags: Gibko cut into Drtic, hemeroid added a Link Gun kill on Drtic, and Gibko reached 24 against hemeroid.
The final step belonged to Jano. At 13:35 he hit Gibko with the Rocket Launcher from 3.4 meters and closed the match exactly on 30 points. Drtic and Gibko both finished on 24, with hemeroid on 22. Jano recorded 36 kills in total, but six suicides reduced his actual score. Even so, his rocket production and his ability to answer losses quickly created the margin that the final burst merely confirmed.

Katami did not reward the player who made no mistakes; it rewarded the player who could outproduce them. Jano had six suicides and 38 deaths, but also 36 kills, a seven-kill spree and 23 Rocket Launcher frags. Drtic started best and remained the closest pursuer for long stretches, Gibko arrived later yet still matched Drtic's final 24 points, and hemeroid kept pressure on the pack to 22. The last rocket, however, belonged to Jano, and with it the winner's line in match 153.
