Maps: DM-1on1-Katami
A compact arena where a few metres separate a clean hit from a very short trip back to respawn.
DM-1on1-Katami is a compact deathmatch arena with a duel-style name, although it hosts an average of 4.2 players on UT3.sk. Its roughly 46 × 71 metre footprint and 2,731 m² of walkable space keep opponents close; three obstacles or gaps punish blind retreats and overconfident dodges.
Between July 12 and July 17, 2026, the map hosted 5 matches with 504 kills in total. An average duel or small deathmatch lasted 15 minutes, giving Katami enough time for a fast opening, several momentum swings and a finish where every bad push suddenly costs twice as much.
Jano leads the table with 119 kills from 4 matches, followed by hemeroid with 97 kills from 3. Jano also owns the single-match records of 39 kills and 5 headshots, while Rambajz recorded the longest streak with 6 kills without dying. Katami rewards accuracy, but the server chronicle notes that even a bot can occasionally refuse to die.
Battle tips
- Treat the upper centre as a dangerous crossroads: its two measured zones accounted for 2% and 1.4% of all kills. Enter with an escape route ready instead of charging through the middle.
- The centre-right area accounts for another 1.4% of kills. Vary your movement height and direction there so opponents cannot predict an easy shot.
- On a 46 × 71 metre layout, opponents return quickly. After a kill, change position or at least your angle, or the revenge attack will arrive along the same route.
- Use the three obstacles or gaps to break direct fire, but do not dodge backwards blindly. Katami has room to evade, not to forget where the floor ends.
- Listen for footsteps, shots and landings, then rotate through available items. In a small arena, information gained a few seconds early is often worth more than one extra risky shot.
Jano holds Katami's single-match kill and headshot records, but the longest streak—6 kills without dying—belongs to the bot Rambajz.
