hemeroid earns MVP status for thirty points, a seven-kill streak and fifteen immediate revenge kills. All four players recorded Double Kills, but Krallbait alone gets the consolation honour of ending the winner’s longest spree.
hemeroid conquers Meitsu after a fierce late-game burst
Four competitors exchanged the lead, but only one turned late momentum into a decisive finish.
Nine minutes and seventeen seconds, four competitors and a target of thirty points set the stage for match 267 on UT3.sk. The arena was DM-1on1-Meitsu and the mode was Normal Deathmatch; despite the map name, this was no tidy two-player contest. hemeroid, mike1234, Jano and Krallbait kept trading eliminations, with rockets flying and the scoreboard refusing to settle early. The final 30:21:17:14 might look straightforward in isolation, yet the supplied statistics record four changes of leader. There were ninety-two eliminations of opponents and ten self-inflicted deaths. That distinction matters: kills were not always points kept, and this match rewarded the player who could combine aggression with fewer avoidable losses.
First blood and an instant reply
hemeroid opened the account after just thirteen seconds, hitting mike1234 with a Rocket Launcher from 10.2 metres. The lead hardly had time to become comfortable. Krallbait eliminated hemeroid at fifteen seconds, and Jano dispatched Krallbait with the Link Gun a second later. By second twenty-seven, Jano had also lost a point to his own Rocket Launcher, introducing a problem that would recur throughout the evening. mike1234 answered with a Double Kill at seconds thirty-five and thirty-six, taking down Jano and Krallbait, although Krallbait struck back in that same second.
hemeroid reached five points by second eighty-eight, only for Jano to stop him with a rocket at exactly that time. The first minute produced eight opponent kills, the second ten. At second one hundred, hemeroid used the Bio Rifle to eliminate Jano and then died to his own Bio Rifle. There was no flawless frontrunner here. Every short scoring run had to be protected, and the increasingly crowded scoreboard showed how readily one mistake could cancel out an otherwise excellent exchange.
mike1234 claims the middle ground
Between seconds 107 and 163, a major thread was the rocket duel between Jano and mike1234. Jano eliminated mike1234 at 107, 135, 149 and 163 seconds, and added a Double Kill notification by taking down hemeroid at 111. But mike1234 was finding targets elsewhere as well. At second 131 he moved ahead of hemeroid by six points to five, at second 145 the margin reached 7:5, and at second 174 he stood at 9:6. The player who scored first was suddenly chasing the match.
Jano contributed several forceful attacks, but self-inflicted losses repeatedly undermined his progress; another rocket suicide came at second 141. Krallbait remained an awkward participant rather than a silent fourth name. He had only three points during the third minute, yet his early interventions and later counterattacks could interrupt anyone's plans. This was the central challenge of the four-player format: a direct rival could be pressured, but there was always another opponent ready to interfere before a lead became safe.
hemeroid strikes back in a crowded race
At second 173, hemeroid recorded the match's only Sniper Rifle elimination, amusingly from a distance of just 6.2 metres. He then returned to his main weapons. A series of kills against Jano and mike1234 between seconds 189 and 239 gave him twelve points against mike1234's eleven at the latter timestamp. At 241, he traded eliminations with Krallbait and earned another Double Kill notification. mike1234 responded eight seconds later with the Bio Rifle. At second 282, hemeroid caught mike1234 with a rocket and moved to 15:14. The contest was still being decided one point at a time.
The fourth, fifth and sixth minutes delivered ten, eleven and eleven opponent eliminations respectively. mike1234 tied the scores at fifteen at second 317, but hemeroid answered with a Bio Rifle kill at 323. When mike1234 levelled at sixteen at second 331, hemeroid eliminated that same rival at 337 and again at 340. The second strike registered as a Double Kill, putting the leader two clear at 18:16. These were not dramatic inventions layered onto the scoreboard: they were concrete swings visible in the event log, and they explain why the middle stretch felt so competitive.
Seven kills that settled the result
The seventh minute was the busiest of all, with fourteen opponent kills. Jano still eliminated hemeroid at second 405, but by 411 hemeroid had twenty-two points while mike1234 held nineteen. mike1234 added a point at 418, and hemeroid lost one to his own rocket at 421. Then came the longest gap between opponent eliminations, twenty-five seconds from 418 to 443. Self-inflicted deaths occurred during that interval, so the arena was hardly free of incidents; the kill counter simply stopped moving for a moment.
From second 443, hemeroid put together a seven-kill streak that changed the match completely. Krallbait fell first, followed by Jano, Krallbait again, Jano from a remarkable 29.2 metres, Krallbait once more, mike1234 and finally Jano at 509. The long-range Bio Rifle hit against Jano at 486 was the longest recorded elimination, though nowhere near the fifty-metre mark for sniper distance. Krallbait finally broke the streak at 521 with a Rocket Launcher and followed it at 522 with a Double Kill against Jano. It made for a sharp late response, but not one capable of overturning the leader's cushion.

Krallbait landed kills at seconds 521 and 522, while Jano lost another point at 531 in a death logged with an unknown cause. hemeroid took down Jano with the Stinger at 547 and ended the match against Krallbait with a rocket at 556. The final table was hemeroid thirty, mike1234 twenty-one, Jano seventeen and Krallbait fourteen. The champion registered thirty-two opponent kills but also two suicides, producing the winning thirty points. His seven-kill run was the moment that converted a difficult pursuit into a commanding finish. Rockets supplied the noise, but a well-used Bio Rifle supplied much of the difference.
