DM-Deck: hemeroid withstands pressure to win the match
Three lead changes, a nine-kill spree and a rocket duel that hemeroid carried all the way to 30.
The Deathmatch on DM-Deck lasted 25 minutes and ended with hemeroid beating Jano 30–24. A six-point margin looks comfortable on paper, but the kill log records three lead changes, an early fight for first place and a long stretch in which hemeroid had to withstand pressure from several opponents. Liandrik drew first blood against Biosludge with a Link Gun at 37 seconds; later came a 56-second lull, Redeemer blasts, long-range rockets and Trajbalajka’s striking arrival. The finish was no formality: Jano remained dangerous, and hemeroid needed one final hit to reach the target of 30 points.
First blood and a slippery opening trap
First blood went to Liandrik, who eliminated Biosludge with a Link Gun from 7.2 metres at the 37-second mark. Nobody had an easy opening: Slime claimed both Biosludge and Strafan, and the first minutes mixed frags with self-inflicted losses. Biosludge caught Strafan with the Flak Cannon, the two traded further hits, and Slime disrupted the score again. On DM-Deck, even the hazard underfoot counted toward the final result.
After second 122 came the longest pause of the match: 56 seconds without a recorded kill before Liandrik scored again. The lead changed three times early on—Liandrik first, briefly Biosludge, then Liandrik once more. That did not mean the match was under control; the standings kept moving, and every frag was both a point and a warning. Jano was warming up while hemeroid was still searching for the right rhythm.
A rocket strike reshapes the pecking order
Liandrik stayed near the top, but hemeroid began changing the match with rockets. At 6:24, he hit Jano with a Rocket Launcher from 72.5 metres away—the longest kill of the entire match. It was more than a spectacular shot: it showed that hemeroid could punish an opponent beyond close-combat range. At 7:14, hemeroid took the lead and, according to the running score, never surrendered first place again.
Jano still had an answer: at 8:14, a Redeemer hit hemeroid from 65.2 metres. The busiest was minute eleven, with seven kills in the log. At 10:01, hemeroid used a Redeemer to eliminate both Strafan and Liandrik in the same second, earning a Double Kill. With most players’ average lives lasting only around 39 to 46 seconds, there was clearly no safe corner on the map.
Trajbalajka turns the match into a personal run
Around the middle of the match, Trajbalajka moved into the spotlight. The first recorded kill came at 12:14, and from there began the longest spree of the evening: nine kills between seconds 734 and 976 without being eliminated. Bio Rifle, Trajbalajka’s favourite weapon, repeatedly appeared in kills against hemeroid and Liandrik. With an average life of 87 seconds, Trajbalajka survived in one stretch far longer than anyone else. At the other end was Biosludge at 30 seconds; Jano averaged 46, hemeroid and Liandrik 44 each, and Strafan 39.
hemeroid ended the spree at 16:16. Trajbalajka did not disappear, though: later, he scored a Double Kill across two seconds by hitting Jano and then hemeroid. Jano meanwhile recorded nine revenge kills, the most of anyone; hemeroid had five, Strafan, Liandrik and Trajbalajka had three apiece, and Biosludge had one. Trajbalajka’s run stirred up the contest, but hemeroid’s cushion was enough to prevent a complete turnaround.
Jano keeps pushing until the final seconds
Jano was hemeroid’s most frequent direct rival: their exchanges produced 24 kills in total. hemeroid eliminated Jano 15 times, while Jano answered with nine kills, and their duel ranged from rocket exchanges to precise shooting. At 20:16, hemeroid scored the match’s only headshot, using the Sniper Rifle against Jano. Average kill distance was 22.5 m for hemeroid, 19.6 m for Trajbalajka, 19.1 m for Biosludge, 18.1 m for Jano, and 12.4 m for both Liandrik and Strafan. Curiously, Jano collected 22 items—the most of all players—while hemeroid collected 13, so pickup volume alone did not decide the match.
In the final minute, hemeroid first hit Liandrik and then Jano, who still managed to eliminate Liandrik in reply. Trajbalajka took out Jano at 24:51, but nine seconds later hemeroid closed the match with a Bio Rifle hit on Jano. The score stopped at 30–24. Rocket Launcher was the most common cause of frags in the log, with 54 recorded events, yet the final point came from the Bio Rifle.

The key difference was hemeroid’s consistency over the longer stretch and the ability to turn the Rocket Launcher into points from long range. Despite collecting 22 items, Jano finished six points behind; hemeroid had the last word, and the final twist was replaced by point thirty.
