Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: mike1234 (101 dmg) · airborne kills: 42 · gutsiest kill: Jano (9 HP)
Match verdict: hemeroid won 30:24 because his seven consecutive kills between seconds 376 and 413 reversed Jano’s 18:11 advantage, and his late acceleration protected the turnaround. Jano’s 21 Rocket Launcher kills were formidable, but four suicides and a slower closing phase gave greater value to hemeroid’s Bio Rifle and cleaner finish.

MVP goes to hemeroid for a 30:24 win, a seven-kill streak and eight immediate revenge kills. Jano recorded seven revenges, Nanoblack five, Flakjack four and mike1234 one; that last player deserves a separate curtain call for his late Multi Kill.
Bio Rifle comeback: hemeroid conquers a chaotic Dusk
First came the rockets; then a green comeback and a finish that gave nobody a moment to breathe.
Nine minutes and nine seconds on DM-1on1-Dusk produced a story far bigger than a final scoreboard. Seven opponents joined this Normal Deathmatch, but the question by the end was simple: could Jano protect his advantage from hemeroid? The winner eventually reached 30 points against Jano’s 24, yet nothing about the journey resembled a comfortable cruise. The official log records six lead changes. Rockets appeared more frequently than polite greetings, while the Bio Rifle demanded the spotlight during the closing third. Nanoblack, Flakjack, mike1234, Ampjunkie and Vystrel each played a role, regularly interrupting the leading pair’s argument with a very practical counterargument: another kill.
First blood, then twenty-one seconds of silence
hemeroid opened the scoring at four seconds, bringing down Nanoblack with the Rocket Launcher. Three seconds later he repeated the trick against the same opponent, collecting a Double Kill. Then came the longest gap between recorded deaths: precisely 21 seconds before mike1234 struck at second 28. For a moment the match seemed to inhale before unleashing its next barrage. The opening minute contained five kills, a modest appetizer compared with the chaos waiting further down the clock.
mike1234 dropped Nanoblack twice using the Flak Cannon and caught hemeroid with a rocket at second 74. The rocket suicide four seconds later wiped away a precious point. Ampjunkie then delivered five kills between seconds 79 and 101, including three with the Sniper Rifle, briefly looking like the arena’s most dangerous surprise. His momentum came with a price: an unattributed death at second 112 subtracted a point. Even the standings were taking damage in this match, and early leadership proved exceptionally slippery.
Jano sets the pace with rockets
Jano emerged as the defining threat from the second minute onward. hemeroid hit him at seconds 143 and 148 to draw the pair level at three points, but Jano answered by collecting more Rocket Launcher kills against Ampjunkie and Nanoblack. By second 179 he had seven points against hemeroid’s five. The pattern was unmistakable: of Jano’s 28 kills, 21 came from the Rocket Launcher. Four self-inflicted deaths would eventually reduce his score, but his attacking rhythm kept his opponents busy for much of the middle period.
Nanoblack was not content to watch. His Flak Cannon removed hemeroid and Jano during second 273, the second elimination registering as a Double Kill. Jano answered with his own Double Kill against Flakjack at second 294. He struck hemeroid with the Flak Cannon at 324 and Nanoblack with a rocket at 339. Around second 340, the recorded scores stood at Jano 18, hemeroid 11. Seven points is a daunting margin in a race to 30, although not an unbreakable one. Flakjack and Nanoblack kept piling on trouble, making sure the leaders never had a private duel.
A green streak turns the contest
At second 376, hemeroid launched the match’s longest spree: seven successive kills before second 413. The Bio Rifle was the instrument of reversal. Nanoblack fell at 376 and 383, Vystrel at 387, Flakjack at 392, Jano at 395, Nanoblack once more at 400 and mike1234 at 407. The hit on Jano also registered as a Double Kill. hemeroid’s score climbed from 11 to 18 in a tightly concentrated burst. That was not one lucky exchange; it was sustained pressure that transformed Jano’s comfortable advantage into a narrow and increasingly uncomfortable lead.
Flakjack finally stopped the streak with a Link Gun kill at second 413. It was a perfectly timed intervention, one worthy of applause even from the player who had just lost his rhythm. Jano still stood on 19 points at second 402 and reached 20 at second 429 by rocketing mike1234. Yet hemeroid killed Jano at second 436 to make it 20:20. Suddenly those six changes at the top of the standings were no abstract statistic; both contenders could feel every point turning into a new lead or a new problem.
From 20:20 to a decisive escape
The final two minutes had no intention of slowing down. Jano scored against Flakjack at second 443; hemeroid hit Jano at 450 and mike1234 at 457. The leaders remained close. A rocket kill on mike1234 brought Jano to 23 at second 480. hemeroid equalized against Jano with the Bio Rifle at 488, then found the separation he needed: mike1234 at 492, Flakjack at 497, and Jano at 498. A contest that had looked balanced moments earlier was suddenly tilting toward the comeback specialist.
The ninth minute, seconds 480 through 539, registered 18 kills, the busiest one-minute period of the match. At second 524, hemeroid caught Flakjack with the Bio Rifle from 44.7 meters, the longest recorded kill; not even this shot crossed the 50-meter sniper-distance threshold. mike1234 still made a spectacular late interruption, chaining a Shock Combo Double Kill at 525 into a Multi Kill on Jano at 527. hemeroid answered against mike1234 at 528, then secured his 30th point by rocketing the same opponent at second 548. The match’s last scoring blow belonged to the eventual champion.
Match moments
- hemeroid claimed first blood on Nanoblack with a rocket at second 4, then scored a Double Kill three seconds later.
- The longest quiet spell lasted 21 seconds after the kill at second 7.
- Jano built an 18:11 lead over hemeroid by second 340, largely through the Rocket Launcher.
- A seven-kill Bio Rifle spree by hemeroid ran from second 376 until Flakjack stopped it at 413.
- After 20:20 at second 436, hemeroid seized the final stretch and finished 30:24.
- mike1234 delivered a Shock Combo Multi Kill at second 527, but hemeroid landed the final blow.
The final line reads hemeroid 30, Jano 24, with enough little paradoxes to furnish a second story. Jano recorded 28 kills, only for four self-inflicted deaths to chip away at his net score. hemeroid collected 31 kills and one self-inflicted loss, plus the longest shot and longest spree. Nanoblack fought his way into third place with 15 points, while Flakjack earned the honor of halting the eventual winner’s most dangerous run. Even fifth-place mike1234 left a spectacular Shock Combo signature near the end. DM-1on1-Dusk delivered a reliable sporting lesson: leading for a long time means less if your opponent suddenly becomes fluent in Bio Rifle.
