MVP goes to hemeroid for thirty points and the decisive turnaround. Granatnik earns the recorded longest-streak award for ten kills between 2:44 and 5:08, plus ten immediate revenge kills to hemeroid’s nine. Nanoblack claims first blood, and Vybusnina gets credit for disrupting the early favorites.
hemeroid breaks Granatnik’s streak to rule DM-Codex
Granatnik owned the middle, but hemeroid had the final word in green.
Sixteen minutes and two seconds on DM-Codex turned an ordinary Deathmatch into a small epic about patience under fire. hemeroid reached the thirty-point limit; Granatnik finished on twenty-five. Those final numbers hide four changes of leader, a ten-kill streak by each principal contender and a turnaround that gathered speed just before the tenth minute. The winner was not the competitor who kept the initiative throughout. He was the one who survived the most difficult stretch and then made the Bio Rifle seem like a particularly persuasive argument.
The supporting cast mattered. Vybusnina briefly pushed ahead of both favorites, Nanoblack drew first blood and Rikoset appeared for one late exchange. The very first logged event was Flakjack eliminating himself at five seconds, putting his score at minus one; that is not the official first blood. The computed record awards that honor to Nanoblack, who struck mike1234 with the Link Gun at 0:27. A near-instant response followed in the log. From the opening seconds, no one could take a quiet scoreline for granted.
An opening nobody could own
Nanoblack began with a Bio Rifle suicide at 0:17, then made a cleaner impression by hitting mike1234 ten seconds later. At the same timestamp, mike1234 is credited in the event log with a Link Gun reply against Nanoblack, a strange but memorable opening exchange. hemeroid entered the scoring column at 0:35 against Nanoblack using the Bio Rifle. He repeated that victim at 0:53 and caught mike1234 with the Flak Cannon at 1:03. By 1:48, hemeroid had five points while Granatnik had not yet built positive momentum.
Vybusnina refused to let the early lead settle. His Flak Cannon and Link Gun attacks drew him level and then ahead; at 4:09 he stood on six points, while hemeroid and Granatnik had five apiece. Nanoblack continued to land blows but gave away points through self-inflicted deaths. The lead changed hands four times over the complete match, and the early stage explains why. Nobody established permanent possession of the pace. Even the longest pause, forty-eight seconds after the 1:51 event, only delayed another round of close-range confusion.
Granatnik turns the screws
At 2:44 Granatnik eliminated Nanoblack with the Stinger and launched the streak identified by the computed statistics as the match’s longest: ten kills between 164 and 308 seconds. His weapon changes were relentless. The Stinger gave way to Link Gun, Rocket Launcher, Flak Cannon and Shock Combo. A Link Gun kill against Vybusnina at 4:09 registered as a Double Kill; a Shock Combo dispatched hemeroid at 4:23. By 5:08 Granatnik had nine points to hemeroid’s eight. In that same second, a hemeroid rocket ended the leader’s ten-kill run.
Yet the streak ending did not end Granatnik’s dominance. At 6:56 his advantage was 15–11; at 8:25 it had grown to 20–14. He drew on a diverse arsenal and collected seventeen items, compared with hemeroid’s eight. Seven of Granatnik’s kills came from the Flak Cannon and another seven from the Link Gun, with rockets and combos adding pressure. hemeroid kept responding, including a Rocket Launcher Double Kill against Granatnik at 6:27, but he was losing the larger contest. It was the most dangerous point of the eventual champion’s evening.
The Bio Rifle changes the argument
The turnaround began to take shape after 8:58. Rockets secured early answers, including a Double Kill sequence around 9:01, but then hemeroid found repeated openings against Granatnik with the Bio Rifle. At 9:48 the direct duel tightened to 19–21. A hit at 10:07 made it 20–21; another at 10:17 tied the scores at 21–21. Seventeen seconds later, the same attacker, victim and weapon produced the first clear reversal of this phase: 22–21 to hemeroid. The lead was not handed over by an own goal or a lucky scoring anomaly. It was won directly from the player defending it.
That 10:34 Bio Rifle kill also traveled 32.8 meters, the longest recorded successful hit of the match. Nobody crossed the fifty-meter sniper threshold, so the significance here is tactical rather than a mythical cross-map shot. hemeroid pushed to twenty-three and then twenty-four points by 11:39. His own maximum kill streak reached ten, though the computed record explicitly names Granatnik’s earlier run as the longest. Nanoblack finally stopped hemeroid’s momentum at 11:40. By then, however, the story had changed: the pursuer had become the player everyone else had to catch.
A closing sprint with no second miracle
The frantic seventh minute, from 6:00 to 6:59, produced twelve kills, the busiest of the match. The third minute yielded only three, the twelfth just two. Typical elimination distances reveal the nature of the struggle: hemeroid averaged 14.2 meters, Granatnik 9.6, Vybusnina 9.8 and Nanoblack 7.5. These were largely tight engagements where weapon choice and immediate re-engagement mattered more than remote marksmanship. The numbers also show Granatnik making ten instant revenge kills and hemeroid nine, evidence of a rivalry that refused to cool. Average life length adds another contrast: Granatnik survived 49 seconds, hemeroid 40, Vybusnina 44, Nanoblack 34 and Rikoset 25, emphasizing how frequently everyone had to start again.
At 13:20 hemeroid eliminated Nanoblack; at 13:22 he took out Vybusnina with the Flak Cannon for another Double Kill. Granatnik answered at 13:26 and eventually reached twenty-five points, but not the lead. Nanoblack kept fighting in the late stages, while Rikoset took a brief but satisfying revenge on hemeroid at 15:44. Granatnik’s Rocket Launcher made it 25–29 with fifteen seconds left. The comeback he needed would never arrive. At 16:02 hemeroid hit Nanoblack with the Bio Rifle and claimed point number thirty. The final scoreboard read 30–25, settled by the weapon that had powered the decisive comeback.

Vybusnina, mike1234 and Flakjack left before the finish, while Rikoset played only fifty-one seconds. Granatnik had an impressive ten-kill streak and more pickups. hemeroid had the finish. This was a contest in which sustained midgame authority was overturned by a concentrated run of direct wins against the strongest opponent. DM-Codex rewarded the player who changed the pattern just in time.
