Match verdict: The decisive phase was Hlavicka's 11-kill spree between 323 and 803 seconds, when he built a lead supported by frequent item control and heavy Rocket Launcher use. greg417 finished strongly, but Hlavicka kept enough of that cushion to win 30:26.

MVP goes to Hlavicka for the win, the 11-kill spree and the longest shot. greg417 gets the revenge award for 17 revenge kills, while Smrtak earns the short-burst trophy: first blood, a Double Kill and five kills in 51 seconds.

Hlavicka survives late charge to win CarbonFire 30:26

DM-CarbonFire began exactly the way a noisy Deathmatch should: Smrtak drew first blood after only 13 seconds, dropping Palic with the Stinger. He reached four points inside the opening minute, added two kills on xRyANx and more damage to Palic, and his last early burst produced the match's only Double Kill. Yet Smrtak's explosive visit lasted just 51 seconds, too short to turn that opening into a victory run. Once Smrtak, xRyANx and Palic were gone, the match settled around Hlavicka, greg417 and Deemer. That was when the real race to thirty started.

From the first rocket to the lead

Hlavicka entered the scoring at 65 seconds with a Rocket Launcher kill on Deemer. greg417 answered at 105 seconds with the same weapon, while Deemer collected two early kills on greg417 and briefly kept pace with the leaders. Hlavicka then began repeatedly picking off Deemer with the Link Gun and rockets. By the time he reached five points at 226 seconds, his game was already built around reliable control of close and medium-range fights.

greg417 prepared his own response. A Bio Rifle kill and two Shock Combos on Deemer carried him to five points by 295 seconds. Twenty-eight seconds later, Hlavicka rocketed greg417 and the pair were tied at 5:5. The match recorded three lead changes in total, but from this phase Hlavicka appeared at the top more and more often. His arsenal also kept opponents guessing: besides the Rocket Launcher and Link Gun, he scored with the Flak Cannon, Stinger, Shock Rifle, Sniper Rifle and Enforcer.

Eleven kills that created the gap

The decisive run began with the kill on greg417 at 323 seconds. From there until 803 seconds, Hlavicka collected eleven kills without anyone ending his spree. Deemer was the most frequent victim during the stretch, but greg417 also fell repeatedly. Rockets at 339, 380, 399, 449, 546 and 569 seconds formed the backbone of the run, supported by the Link Gun, Flak Cannon and even the Sniper Rifle. When Hlavicka killed Deemer at 750 seconds, he had already reached 15 points.

greg417 finally ended the spree at 803 seconds with the Flak Cannon. It mattered both in the flow of the match and in the computed statistics: greg417 is recorded as the player who stopped the longest run, an eleven-kill streak. Hlavicka still held a substantial cushion, and his average life of 79 seconds was the best in the field. The match also contained one unusually quiet hole: after the kill at 470 seconds, 76 seconds passed before the next frag, the longest pause of the entire game.

Deemer disrupted, greg417 kept taking revenge

Deemer was never in position to win, but he constantly interfered with the leaders. Five Flak Cannon kills, three Shock Rifle kills and additional points with the Sniper Rifle and Shock Combo often came against greg417. Their head-to-head record became the closest rivalry of the night: greg417 killed Deemer 16 times, while Deemer killed greg417 15 times. Those 31 mutual kills made them the main rivalry pair even though the fight for first place was between Hlavicka and greg417.

greg417 also had a remarkable habit of answering quickly. The computed data gives him 17 revenge kills, the most in the match; Hlavicka had 14 and Deemer seven. greg417 dealt the most total damage as well, 5,336, and his preferred Shock Rifle became a major part of his late pressure. Hlavicka nevertheless maintained his advantage with 45 collected items compared with greg417's 16, a pattern consistent with stronger control of the map's resources.

Six frags in minute 29 and a finish with no margin

After the 25-minute mark, greg417 began closing in. He killed Hlavicka at 1527 and 1551 seconds, then added more hits at 1617 and 1641. Hlavicka answered on Deemer with the Bio Rifle and a Shock Combo, but greg417 stayed within reach. At 1684 seconds, he forced Hlavicka into a fall, moving the score to 24:27. Eighteen seconds later a Stinger kill made it 25:28, and another Stinger at 1721 seconds cut the gap to 26:28.

The 29th minute was the busiest according to the computed data, with six kills. Hlavicka still landed the two decisive blows. At 1737 seconds, he hit greg417 with the Bio Rifle to move to 29:26. The final point did not arrive until 29:56, or 1796 seconds: Hlavicka used the Bio Rifle again, this time on Deemer, to close the Deathmatch at exactly 30:26. The longest kill of the match also belonged to the winner: at 1106 seconds he hit greg417 with the Stinger from 47.7 metres, just below the 50-metre distance marked in the source data as sniper range.

Match moments
  • Smrtak drew first blood after 13 seconds with the Stinger on Palic and also produced the match's only Double Kill in the opening minute.
  • Hlavicka built the longest spree from 323 to 803 seconds: 11 kills before greg417 ended it with the Flak Cannon.
  • The longest quiet spell lasted 76 seconds after the kill at 470 seconds.
  • greg417 recorded 17 revenge kills, the highest total in the match.
  • The closest rivalry was greg417 versus Deemer, with a 16:15 head-to-head kill score for greg417.
  • The 29th minute produced six kills and was the busiest minute of the match.
  • Hlavicka recorded the longest kill at 47.7 metres with the Stinger against greg417.
  • Hlavicka scored the winning 30:26 frag at 1796 seconds with the Bio Rifle on Deemer.

Hlavicka won 30:26, but the score was not the product of a comfortable cruise. Five suicides repeatedly trimmed his margin, and greg417 managed to close the gap to two points late in the match. The decisive foundation had been laid much earlier: an eleven-kill spree, the best average life at 79 seconds, 45 collected items and consistent work with the Rocket Launcher and Link Gun created a cushion that survived the late pressure. Deemer kept both leaders busy throughout, while Smrtak left a surprisingly large mark in only the opening minute. CarbonFire therefore produced a clear winner, but not before a suitably loud finish.

Player verdicts
  • B Hlavicka — The winner built the match on map control, 45 collected items and long stretches without dying. Thirteen Rocket Launcher kills and an eleven-kill spree gave him the cushion needed to survive greg417's late push.
  • PL greg417 — Second place on 26 points came with the most damage dealt and 17 revenge kills. His finish was excellent, but Hlavicka's earlier lead was too large to erase completely.
  • B Deemer — With 16 kills and ten assists, he remained a constant factor in fights, especially against greg417, losing their direct kill count only 15:16. Heavy deaths and two suicides kept him away from the lead.
  • B Smrtak — In only 51 seconds he produced five kills, first blood and the match's only Double Kill. Leaving after the opening minute made him a lightning cameo rather than a contender for the overall win.
  • xRyANx — He played 54 seconds, died twice to Smrtak and scored no kill. Such a short appearance gave him no real chance to influence the fight at the top.
  • B Palic — He died three times to Smrtak in 50 seconds and collected neither a point nor an item. His appearance ended before the main contest fully developed.

    Who killed with what

Each player's kills split by weapon. Reveals every fighter's favorite tool.

The Rocket Launcher was the deadliest weapon with 20 kills; Hlavicka scored 13 of them and greg417 six. The Flak Cannon added 12 kills, while the Stinger and Link Gun had 11 each; there were no headshots.

Hlavicka benefited from stronger control of map resources and from switching between the Rocket Launcher at medium range and the Link Gun or Flak Cannon in tighter spaces. greg417 later adapted with more aggressive Shock Rifle and Stinger pressure, which narrowed the score. Deemer repeatedly entered those fights at close range with the Flak Cannon and disrupted a clean duel between the leaders. In the closing phase Hlavicka did not rely on one plan; the decisive points came with the Bio Rifle.
