Match verdict: The match was decided by Vulgarus's nine-kill spree between 305 and 407 seconds, which converted a modest advantage into a manageable gap. Rockets, Shock Combos and precise sniper work reduced the value of close-range pressure, allowing Vulgarus to close DM-Arsenal 30:21 over freedie00.

MVP Vulgarus takes trophies for the win, nine-kill spree, two headshots and five revenge kills. Stingray earns the firefighter award for extinguishing the run, Presnak the courier award for a 50.9-metre Bio Rifle delivery, and Ironguard the refusal-to-die award for averaging 56 seconds per life.

Vulgarus rules DM-Arsenal with a fierce nine-kill storm

DM-Arsenal delivered twelve minutes and ten seconds of proper disorder, 127 counted frags and ten suicides, yet the result eventually looked anything but random. freedie00 drew first blood at exactly 20 seconds with a Rocket Launcher hit on Vulgarus and closed the opening minute ahead 2:1. The eventual winner refused to remain a supporting character. Vulgarus answered with a Shock Combo, gradually seized the scoreboard and never released the lead after the match's only lead change. His decisive signature came between 305 and 407 seconds: a nine-kill spree, two Double Kills, a headshot and a weapon rotation broad enough to require its own inventory audit.

A welcome rocket and silence after the blast

freedie00 claimed first blood without ceremony. At 20 seconds he hit Vulgarus with the Rocket Launcher from 4.9 metres, then sent him down with the same weapon 36 seconds later for a 2:1 lead. In between, Jumpboots took freedie00 with the Link Gun, while Vulgarus introduced the first Shock Combo against Jumpboots at 35 seconds. Everyone had touched the action, but the advantage belonged to freedie00.

Then came the longest pause of the match: after the frag at 56 seconds, nothing counted for 44 seconds. Hlavicka ended the drought with a rocket on Jumpboots at 1:40. Two painful accounting corrections followed, suicides by Jumpboots with the Bio Rifle and freedie00 with the Rocket Launcher. Vulgarus used the hesitation, killed Jumpboots with a rocket at 137 seconds and moved into first place. The statistics record only one lead change; this was the point where the hunter became the scoreboard's landlord.

Arsenal accelerates as the favourite tunes his Shock Rifle

From the third minute onward the match gained density. Vulgarus removed Hlavicka with the Stinger while holding only ten health, then settled a direct duel with freedie00 by rocket at 189 seconds. Hlavicka punished Zabijak, Jumpboots pushed with the Link Gun and Stingray scored on freedie00 with the Shock Rifle. By the end of the fourth minute Vulgarus led 5:3, and the margin no longer looked accidental.

The fifth and sixth minutes produced ten frags each. Vulgarus moved between the Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher and Shock Combo, while most of the field fought at close range. freedie00 stopped him with a rocket at 296 seconds with the score at 8:5, but the interruption lasted only nine seconds. At 305, Vulgarus detonated a Shock Combo on Stingray and opened the passage that split the match into the time before the spree and the time after it.

Nine names on the list and Stingray's full stop

From 305 to 407 seconds Vulgarus did not die and collected nine kills. Stingray, Odstrel, Presnak, freedie00, Odstrel again, Jumpboots, Zabijak and Hlavicka gradually learned that safe distance on DM-Arsenal is more philosophy than measurement. At 362 and 364 seconds he chained two Shock Combos into a Double Kill, then struck Odstrel with the Sniper Rifle from 25.7 metres at 375. Seven seconds later he added another Double Kill through rockets on Jumpboots and Zabijak.

The peak was a 32-metre headshot on Hlavicka at 389 seconds, raising Vulgarus to 17. The spree stopped only at 407, when Stingray returned a Shock Combo from 27.9 metres. It was precise and deserved, but the scoreboard damage was already complete. Vulgarus had opened such a gap during the run that the rest of the field needed a miracle, not merely a better respawn.

Twenty frags in one minute and the final invoice

The eighth minute was the busiest, with 20 frags between 420 and 479 seconds. Spawnfrag hit Vulgarus with the Enforcer, Hlavicka and Jumpboots harvested short Link Gun fights, and Jumpboots added a Double Kill on Stingray and freedie00. Vulgarus still reached 20 at 477 seconds and continued after a brief fall to Presnak. The longest kill did not belong to a sniper rifle: at 514 seconds Presnak hit Jumpboots with the Bio Rifle from 50.9 metres, first-class biological mail.

Vulgarus reached 25 at 544 seconds. Odstrel answered with a flak run and a Double Kill, while Ironguard posted the best average life at 56 seconds and repeatedly slowed Vulgarus with the Stinger, Shock Rifle and Link Gun. The leader remained composed: point 27 came at 634, point 28 through a Shock Combo on Jumpboots at 682 and point 29 with the Stinger on Hlavicka at 702. Zabijak still dropped him from 32.4 metres with the Stinger at 715, but Vulgarus had the final word. At exactly 730 seconds he hit Zabijak at close range with a rocket and closed on 30. The final table placed freedie00 second with 21, followed by Hlavicka on 17 and Odstrel on 15.

Vulgarus won 30:21, and the numbers explain why his lead survived even the frantic finish. He posted 30 kills without a suicide, died only 14 times, owned the longest spree at nine and registered five immediate revenge kills, the most in the field. DM-Arsenal was no monologue: Stingray ended the decisive run, Presnak delivered a fifty-metre Bio Rifle hit, Odstrel spun up the Flak Cannon and Ironguard survived longest on average. Still, every attempted comeback met the same wall: Vulgarus had an answer at close range, at distance and exactly when the match needed to be closed.

Player verdicts
  • LV Vulgarus — A complete winning performance: 30 kills, 14 deaths, no suicide and a nine-kill spree. His switches between rockets, Shock Combo and the sniper rifle denied opponents any stable safe zone.
  • GB freedie00 — He claimed first blood and finished second on 21, but 35 deaths and a 17-second average life show the price of his aggression. The Rocket Launcher opened the match for him, yet he could not stop Vulgarus's middle phase.
  • B Hlavicka — A balanced 18 kills and 18 deaths, third place and the highest item total in the field. The Link Gun suited him, but he lost ground against Vulgarus at range and to the headshot.
  • B Odstrel — He converted the Flak Cannon into eight logged frags and built a five-kill late spree with a Double Kill. Fourth place on 15 was earned, though one suicide trimmed the attack.
  • B Jumpboots — He embraced contact fights, collected two Double Kills and scored six times with the Link Gun. Twenty deaths and repeated clashes with Vulgarus kept him outside the leading pace.
  • B Presnak — His defining moment was the 50.9-metre Bio Rifle hit, the longest kill of the match. Otherwise he delivered a solid 11 kills to 12 deaths, with a suicide costing one point.
  • B Ironguard — The most efficient survivor: 10 kills, only four deaths and a 56-second average life. In limited playing time he built a six-kill spree and disrupted Vulgarus several times.
  • B Zabijak — He lost the main rivalry to Vulgarus 2:7, but still hit him with the Stinger from 32.4 metres at 715 seconds. Eight kills were overshadowed by 21 deaths and frequent meetings with the wrong end of a rocket.
  • B Zasah — In 58 seconds he managed one close Link Gun kill on Presnak and one death to Ironguard. A brief but clean one-point cameo.
  • B Spawnfrag — Six of his nine kills came from the Link Gun, and he once surprised Vulgarus with the Enforcer. Two suicides and an early exit reduced his score to seven.
  • B Stingray — Three kills were enough for a major mark because his Shock Combo ended Vulgarus's nine-kill spree. He also had the highest average kill distance at 17.6 metres, despite leaving early.

    Who killed with what

Each player's kills split by weapon. Reveals every fighter's favorite tool.

The Link Gun produced the most frags with 29, followed by the Flak Cannon on 24 and Rocket Launcher on 23. Vulgarus was deadliest with ten rocket kills, added seven Shock Combos and all five of his sniper kills; both match headshots were his.

Vulgarus did not bind himself to one weapon: he used the Rocket Launcher up close, Shock Combo through medium lanes and the Sniper Rifle on open sightlines. That forced Link Gun and Flak Cannon users to enter from unfavourable angles. When Ironguard and Stingray began slowing him with cleaner ranged pressure, Vulgarus returned to fast rotations and available weapon pickups; eight collected items supported that flexibility. Hlavicka gathered nine items, but his contact-oriented plan remained too readable in open lanes.

    Kill map (top-down)

Top-down map with dots at death locations — the light grey layer is the map outline assembled from kills of all matches ever played on it. Clusters show where the match was fought hardest. Each dot is a death location — clusters show where most dying happened. Click a name in the legend for one player's kills.

Much of the fighting was contact-range, reflected by the Link Gun and Flak Cannon totals, but open lines rewarded Vulgarus and Stingray with average kill ranges of 12.6 and 17.6 metres. Presnak's 50.9-metre Bio Rifle kill was the extreme case.

    Kill density (heatmap)

The same map as a grid — the darkest zones had the most kills. The arena's hot spots.
