Unanimous MVP: Vulgarus for 30 points, 34 kills, a sixteen-kill spree and seven immediate revenge kills. Jano takes both the fireworks and self-damage trophies, Shardfall the Link Gun craft award, and Strepina the evening’s longest delivery at 39 metres.

Vulgarus Rules Campgrounds with a Sixteen-Kill Run

DM-Campgrounds-U3-Fix produced the kind of Normal Deathmatch where the scoreboard looked harmless for a few moments and then urgently needed protective gear. Jumpboots struck first, Vulgarus waited briefly, and then launched a spree that divided the field into pursuers and recurring rocket customers. Jano answered with the match’s strongest multikill, Naboj and Shardfall built a Link Gun feud of their own, and the finish stretched into the final seconds. The 30–13 result was emphatic, but the route included suicides, revenge kills, CampKiller penalties and a two-Shock-Combo closing statement.

First blood to Jumpboots, the lead to Vulgarus

Jumpboots landed first blood at 27 seconds, dropping Vulgarus with the Flak Cannon from nine metres and briefly leading 1–0. Vulgarus replied at 34 seconds with the Enforcer against Hlavicka. Then came the match’s longest silence: exactly 60 seconds without a kill. When the arena spoke again, it changed the table. A Shock Combo on Jumpboots at 94 seconds made it 2–1 and produced the match’s only lead change. Vulgarus never surrendered first place after that.

What followed was sustained control. Vulgarus rotated through the Rocket Launcher, Shock Rifle, Sniper Rifle and close-range finishes. By 329 seconds he had collected sixteen unanswered kills, running through Hlavicka, Jumpboots, Telefrag, Jano, Naboj and Walldodge. Walldodge finally ended the spree with an Enforcer shot from 35.5 metres. The irony was tidy: a long-range starter weapon stopped a player who had done most of his damage with rockets at much shorter range.

Minute six: rockets, doubles and accounting errors

The sixth minute was the busiest with twelve kills, turning the map into an intersection without traffic lights. Jano removed Walldodge and Telefrag at 291 and 295 seconds for a Double Kill, then erased a point with his own Rocket Launcher fourteen seconds later. Vulgarus completed a Double Kill on Telefrag with the Shock Rifle at 348. At 360, Walldodge managed two Telefrag eliminations, a Double Kill and a suicide in the same second—a sequence better suited to an insurance claim than a clean stat line.

Jano then delivered the match’s highest multikill. Between 383 and 390 seconds, rockets dispatched Kombo, freedie00 and Naboj, with the third frag registering a Multi Kill. The bill arrived at 396 seconds: he killed Granatnik and himself with the same rocket exchange. Vulgarus was more economical, doubling Granatnik and Kombo at 419 and 422, then scoring the match’s only headshot on Granatnik with the Sniper Rifle from 28.7 metres at 433. Three seconds later he also found his own rocket, but the lead was already enormous.

Poskok charges, Vulgarus briefly retreats

The middle phase brought resistance. Poskok entered sharply, using the Link Gun on Granatnik before taking out Vulgarus and Jano in quick succession; by 587 seconds he had reached five points. Vulgarus answered with an immediate Shock Rifle revenge at 589, one of his match-leading seven revenge kills. Kombo stopped him with the Stinger at 595, but the leader returned. From 613 to 646 seconds he added Shardfall, Kombo, Naboj, Shardfall again and finally Jano, whose death completed a Double Kill and lifted Vulgarus to 28.

Then came an unexpected brake. Vulgarus suicided with the Rocket Launcher at 655 and was punished by CampKiller at 702, falling to 26. No rival truly threatened the lead, but he went almost three minutes without a valid point. Jano kept forcing his score upward with rockets, yet six suicides reduced nineteen kills to a final score of thirteen. His average life lasted 37 seconds; Vulgarus averaged 74, exactly illustrating the difference between explosive pursuit and sustainable control.

Link Gun war and two Combos to close the books

Late action shifted toward the pack. Naboj and Shardfall produced nine mutual kills, the highest total for any pair. Shardfall won that rivalry 7–2, powered by nine Link Gun kills among his thirteen. Naboj still answered with a Double Kill on Shardfall at 891 seconds and reached twelve. At 931, Strepina recorded the match’s longest kill, hitting Shardfall with the Enforcer from 39 metres. No frag crossed the 50-metre sniper threshold, so Campgrounds remained a short- and mid-range battlefield.

Vulgarus broke his scoring drought with Flak Cannon kills on Naboj at 897 and Kombo at 906, but still needed two. Shardfall killed him with the Link Gun at 941; five seconds later Jano rocketed Shardfall and suicided in the same second. The decision then arrived without negotiation: a Shock Combo on Naboj at 967 made it 29, and another on Shardfall at 971 ended the match at 30. Jano, Naboj and Shardfall all finished on thirteen, while Vulgarus had long since moved into a different postcode on the scoreboard.

Match moments
  • Jumpboots scored first blood on Vulgarus with the Flak Cannon at 27 seconds.
  • Vulgarus took a 2–1 lead at 94 seconds and never gave it back.
  • Walldodge ended Vulgarus’s sixteen-kill spree at 329 seconds with a 35.5-metre Enforcer shot.
  • Jano produced the match’s only level-two Multi Kill with three rocket frags from 383 to 390 seconds.
  • The sixth minute delivered a match-high 12 kills.
  • Strepina recorded the longest kill at 39 metres.
  • Vulgarus sealed 30–13 with Shock Combos at 967 and 971 seconds.

Vulgarus won not merely because he posted 34 kills, but because his decisive opening run created a margin that survived four suicides and a late CampKiller penalty. The sixteen-kill spree formed the spine of the match, the Rocket Launcher was the primary tool, and the final Shock Combos supplied the signature. Behind him came a three-way tie on thirteen, a strong Naboj–Shardfall Link Gun feud, and Jano as the evening’s greatest danger to opponents and occasionally to himself. Campgrounds received a clear winner without producing a dull chronicle.

The graph changed leader only once: Jumpboots led after first blood, Vulgarus tied at 34 seconds and moved ahead at 94. His run to sixteen created the decisive gap; the late fall from 28 to 26 delayed the finish but never threatened the outcome.

Match pace

Kills in each minute of this match. Peaks are the wildest moments of the game.

The kill at 34 seconds was followed by the longest pause, 60 seconds, before the pace accelerated sharply. Minute six was the busiest with 12 kills, and the computed timeline shows two other minute segments also reaching 12, making the middle and late phases far denser than the opening.

Vulgarus owned the opening and the decisive lead, while Jano’s rocket Multi Kill and Poskok’s short charge animated the middle. Naboj and Shardfall controlled much of the late traffic before Vulgarus claimed the final four scoring kills he needed.

Player verdicts
  • LV Vulgarus — The clear MVP: 30 points, 34 kills and a sixteen-kill spree built an unreachable base. Four suicides slowed the finish, but weapon variety and a 74-second average life outweighed them.
  • SK Jano — The most explosive chaser, with 19 kills and the only level-two Multi Kill. Six suicides prevented his rocket output from becoming a much higher final score.
  • B Naboj — A strong finish and 14 kills carried him to 13 points, with the Link Gun as his main support. He lost the match’s largest rivalry to Shardfall by 2–7.
  • B Shardfall — Efficient: 13 kills, 11 deaths and no suicide. He won the Naboj duel with the Link Gun and stopped Vulgarus late, although he became the final Shock Combo victim.
  • B Kombo — Seven of his eleven kills came from the Stinger, and he cleaned up crowded exchanges well in the second half. A longer spree was missing, and he went 0–4 against Jano.
  • B Strepina — A balanced 10–10 line, varied weapons and no suicide. His signature was the 39-metre Enforcer kill, the longest shot of the match.
  • B Granatnik — Ten kills showed activity, but 21 deaths and two suicides reduced the score to eight. His best work came in close Link Gun and Flak Cannon exchanges.
  • GB freedie00 — Six kills could not offset four suicides and repeated CampKiller penalties, leaving a score of minus two. With no items collected, he lacked durability and continuity.
  • B Poskok — A brief but forceful entry: six kills, a five-kill spree and two eliminations of Vulgarus. Leaving after 149 seconds turned a promising charge into a cameo.
  • B Walldodge — In 138 seconds he managed six kills, a Double Kill and the end of the match’s longest spree. Two suicides cut the final return to four points.
  • B Telefrag — Two kills could not compensate for eleven deaths, including six at the hands of Vulgarus. His 14-second average life was the shortest in the field.
  • B Hlavicka — He landed one close Link Gun kill on Jumpboots, but a suicide erased the point. His 184 seconds produced a short chapter rather than a full campaign.
  • B Jumpboots — The first-blood author and initial leader after flakking Vulgarus. He later died to Vulgarus three times, and a suicide brought the final score back to zero.

Each player's kills split by weapon. Reveals every fighter's favorite tool.

The Rocket Launcher led all weapons with 35 kills; Vulgarus and Jano each scored 16 with it. The Link Gun added 30 and was especially lethal for Shardfall. The only headshot belonged to Vulgarus, who sniped Granatnik at 433 seconds.

Vulgarus did not remain tied to one weapon: he rotated through rockets, Shock, Flak and the Sniper Rifle, indicating steady control of weapon and item cycles. His 22 collected items supported aggression without turning every exchange into a reset. Jano relied almost entirely on rockets and close range, creating multikills but repeatedly sealing his own escape route with splash damage. Shardfall and Naboj adapted late through Link Gun fights, yet spent their pressure on each other rather than on map control against the leader.

    Kill map (top-down)

Top-down map with dots at death locations — the light grey layer is the map outline assembled from kills of all matches ever played on it. Clusters show where the match was fought hardest. Each dot is a death location — clusters show where most dying happened. Click a name in the legend for one player's kills.

Most fights occurred at short or medium range, with leading-player averages roughly between seven and fourteen metres. Strepina’s 39-metre Enforcer frag was the longest, and no kill exceeded the 50-metre sniper benchmark.
