Vulgarus Rules DM-Biohazard with Rockets on UT3.sk
Zerker lit the fuse, but Vulgarus locked Biohazard inside a rocket-powered vise.
For nine minutes and eighteen seconds, DM-Biohazard became a laboratory where players tested their resistance not to chemicals, but to rockets, bio sludge and precise shots. The first success did not belong to the eventual winner: at 26 seconds, Zerker hit Vulgarus with the Rocket Launcher and claimed the authoritative first blood. Ten seconds later Vulgarus answered with the same weapon, only for Zerker to tame him with the Bio Rifle in that very second. The opening therefore belonged to Zerker, the table shifted back and forth, and nothing suggested a one-man procession. Vulgarus then tied the score, moved ahead 3:2 with a Shock Combo at 1:15, and the match's only lead change was complete.
Zerker fires first, Vulgarus makes the only turnaround
Zerker started without respect for reputations. First blood from 9.5 metres, another Bio Rifle hit and a short 2:1 lead supplied the right amount of chaos. freedie00 joined with a Shock Combo at 45 seconds, forcing Vulgarus to solve more than his own rhythm in the opening minute. His answer was exact: rockets tied it at 2:2 after 52 seconds, and the Shock Combo at 1:15 pushed him in front 3:2.
The leader never changed again. Vulgarus added two eliminations of freedie00, more rockets against Zerker and, after 155 seconds, stood on seven while Zerker's reduced score was one. Zerker still took freedie00 and Vulgarus at 182 and 187 seconds, proving he had not surrendered, but two Bio Rifle suicides erased points and momentum. Vulgarus, meanwhile, kept collecting immediate revenge kills; he finished with ten, the most in the match.
Minute four: rockets, revenge and no rest
The computed pace marked the fourth minute as the busiest, with eight kills between 180 and 239 seconds. Vulgarus removed freedie00 twice in succession with the Rocket Launcher, added another hit and reached ten points. Zerker replied with a Shock Combo from 32.2 metres — the longest kill of the night and proof that Biohazard was not limited to elbow-range fighting.
freedie00 remained dangerous, especially with the Bio Rifle and Shock Combo. He still dropped Vulgarus at 286 seconds, but the match soon entered its decisive phase. Vulgarus first hit Zerker with the Sniper Rifle from an unexpectedly short 3.8 metres, absorbed an immediate bio reply, and at 306 seconds began with a headshot on freedie00 the spree that finally tore the scoreboard apart.
Ten kills without an answer
From 306 to 453 seconds, Vulgarus did not lose a life. He collected ten kills in a row with the Sniper Rifle, Shock Combo, Rocket Launcher and then a precise sniper passage against Jumpboots and Zerker. At 332 and 335 seconds, two headshots landed within three seconds, the second producing a Double Kill; another headshot followed at 342. His score rose from 12 to 22, and the opponents watched a tight opening become a lead that could no longer be ignored mathematically or psychologically.
After the hit at 342 seconds came the longest quiet stretch of the match: forty seconds without a kill. It was not the end of the spree, only an intermission before another push. Vulgarus then took Jumpboots three times and Presnak once. Only Jumpboots stopped the ten-kill run at 453 seconds, using the Sniper Rifle from 30.5 metres. Vulgarus averaged a 50-second life, the best in the field; this spree explained why.
Ostrelovac shakes the finish, Vulgarus closes it
After ending the spree, Jumpboots kept pressing: within fourteen seconds he added two kills on Presnak, the second a headshot. Then Ostrelovac entered the plot. He first caught Vulgarus with the Bio Rifle, added a rocket on Jumpboots at 490 seconds and, one second later, hit Vulgarus from point-blank range at 0.9 metres. In that same second he also caught himself in the blast, so the spectacular burst came with a comic cleaning bill.
Vulgarus returned from that episode without hesitation. From 503 seconds, he successively removed Presnak, Ostrelovac, Presnak again and then Ostrelovac twice. At 544 seconds he recorded his fifth headshot and second Double Kill, raising the score to 29. The final point arrived exactly at 558 seconds: Rocket Launcher, Ostrelovac, 9.5 metres. Thirty points were reached without a suicide and with a margin that looked more like a technical demonstration than a close Deathmatch.
