biggest overkill: Jano (95 dmg) · airborne kills: 42 · gutsiest kill: Vulgarus (3 HP)

Match verdict: Anub1ss won 30:24 mainly because of the stretch after the 14:14 tie, when he created a stable gap and never surrendered the lead again. The deciding mix was heavy rocket output, two Double Kills and the ability to switch to precision weapons late.

MVP goes to Anub1ss for 30 points, 31 kills and a finish on 2 HP. Vulgarus earns the five-kill-spree and four-headshot honours, Jano the spree-stopper badge, and Rucha the award for the strongest opening pressure.

Anub1ss breaks ShangriLa open and reaches thirty points

DM-ShangriLa welcomed five players into a Deathmatch whose opening minutes looked more like a rush for rocket launchers than a calm positional contest. Jano struck first at 0:11, dropping Rucha with the Rocket Launcher, but in the very same second he killed himself with the same weapon. The lead therefore moved quickly among several names. Rucha, hemeroid, Vulgarus and Anub1ss all spent time near or at the top, and the scores stayed compressed for a long stretch. The match eventually recorded four lead changes, and only the second half clearly revealed who would control the pace.

First blood, first blast, no peace

Jano claimed the official first blood at 0:11 against Rucha with the Rocket Launcher, but his immediate suicide erased the scoring benefit. hemeroid moved to 1:0 by killing Jano at 0:23, and soon Vulgarus and Rucha were mixing into the lead as well. Rucha reached two points at 1:14, yet the margins remained tiny and ties kept reappearing.

The opening minutes showed that ShangriLa would not belong to a single style. Vulgarus headshot Rucha with the Sniper Rifle at 1:21, Anub1ss answered with Bio Rifle and Shock Combo kills, while hemeroid collected much of his early score with rockets. The longest pause without a kill was only 31 seconds after 2:10, so calm planning was a luxury nobody enjoyed for long.

Rucha leads, Anub1ss begins to climb

Rucha held the strongest early position. A run of Stinger and Rocket Launcher kills took him to eight points while Anub1ss was still on five. Then the character of the match started to change: Anub1ss eliminated Jano, hemeroid and Vulgarus in quick succession, and at 5:33 he hit hemeroid with a Rocket Launcher from 69.1 metres. It was the longest kill of the match and proof that rockets were not limited to point-blank work.

Twelve seconds later Vulgarus also fell and Anub1ss reached nine. Rucha stayed close and tied the lead at 9:9 at 6:47, but Anub1ss immediately answered with the Bio Rifle for 10:9. From there a more stable advantage started to form, even though the scoreboard was far from settled.

Minute eight: ten kills and the first real gap

The busiest minute of the match produced ten kills. Around the seventh and eighth minutes the kill feed barely stopped: Anub1ss, Rucha, Vulgarus and hemeroid repeatedly interrupted one another, while Jano was often caught in the centre of the exchanges. At 7:10 Anub1ss scored a Double Kill on Rucha, then used the Stinger, Sniper Rifle and more rockets to move from chaser to player setting the pace.

Rucha still tied Anub1ss at 14 points at 8:51, but the answer came at 9:02 with a Stinger kill on hemeroid. From that point Anub1ss stayed ahead. At 10:08 and 10:11 he killed Rucha and Jano with the Rocket Launcher, the second frag completing another Double Kill, and the lead grew to 18:14. No single spectacular move decided it; repeated small wins inside the busiest traffic did.

Vulgarus strings five together, Jano hits the brake

Vulgarus refused to disappear. From 10:23 to 12:35 he built the longest spree of the match, five kills without dying. He used the Stinger on hemeroid and Anub1ss, added a Sniper Rifle kill on Anub1ss and continued with two more eliminations. His average life lasted 73 seconds, best in the field, and his four headshots confirmed how dangerous he was with precision weapons.

Jano ended that spree at 12:35 with the Rocket Launcher. It was not a fight for first place, but it was exactly the type of interruption that changes a pursuer's rhythm. Jano then quickly killed Anub1ss and hemeroid as well, even though his own average life was just 25 seconds. Anub1ss, at 45 seconds per life, increasingly converted his safer windows into points.

Pressure at the finish, Shock Combo gets the last word

With Anub1ss on 22 points, Vulgarus kept trimming the margin and scored regularly between 12:57 and 15:03. Anub1ss answered with both precision and variety: he sniped Rucha from 57.6 metres, later hit hemeroid from 55 metres, and at 14:41 began another two-kill burst with the Bio Rifle. Vulgarus stopped him with the Sniper Rifle at 14:48, but the leader had already reached 27.

In the final minute Vulgarus climbed to 24 and even completed a Double Kill through Shock Combo, but the finish line was too far away. Anub1ss took point 28 from Jano, point 29 with a headshot on hemeroid, then after Jano's revenge at 15:30 saved the last point for Rucha. At 16:00 a Shock Combo made it exactly 30, with Anub1ss surviving on only 2 HP.

Match moments
  • Jano took first blood at 0:11 on Rucha with the Rocket Launcher, then killed himself in the same second.
  • Anub1ss recorded the longest kill: a 69.1-metre Rocket Launcher hit on hemeroid at 5:33.
  • Minute eight was the busiest, producing 10 kills.
  • Vulgarus built the longest spree, five kills from 10:23 to 12:35, before Jano ended it.
  • Anub1ss and Vulgarus each recorded six immediate revenge kills; Jano had five and Rucha three.
  • Anub1ss finished the match with a Shock Combo on Rucha at 16:00 and had only 2 HP left.

The final 30:24:19:14:9 looks more comfortable than the match felt. Rucha led much of the opening, Vulgarus owned the longest spree and most headshots, and Jano repeatedly disrupted opponents who were building momentum. The separation appeared only when Anub1ss started leaving even exchanges with an extra point again and again. The Rocket Launcher supplied most of his kills, but the closing stretch also featured the Sniper Rifle, Bio Rifle and Shock Combo. ShangriLa therefore did not produce a one-weapon winner, but a player who changed tools with the situation and took the last point at the absolute limit.

The first third was full of ties and brief changes at the top; Rucha led while Anub1ss gradually erased the deficit. After the 14:14 tie around 8:51, Anub1ss took control and never gave up the lead after reaching 15, finishing 30:24.

Match pace

Minute eight was the busiest with 10 kills, while minutes four, fifteen and sixteen were also highly active. The longest quiet stretch lasted only 31 seconds after 2:10, so the match never developed a truly long dead period.

Player verdicts
  • CZ Anub1ss — The winner managed the transition from chasing Rucha to controlling the middle of the match. He leaned most on the Rocket Launcher but closed effectively with the sniper, Bio Rifle and Shock Combo too.
  • LV Vulgarus — Second place was built on long survival, precision and the match-best five-kill spree. Four headshots and a strong finish kept pressure on Anub1ss, but the gap never fully closed.
  • UA Rucha — Rucha powered the opening and held or shared the lead for a long stretch. Later he lost pace against Anub1ss, while two suicides also reduced his scoring return.
  • FR hemeroid — hemeroid stayed in touch early and scored nine kills with the Rocket Launcher. In the second half he more often became the target of surging opponents and finished on 14 points.
  • SK Jano — Jano opened the match with first blood and later stopped Vulgarus's longest spree. His aggressive style produced 12 kills, but 36 deaths and three suicides heavily limited his score.

    Who killed with what

Each player's kills split by weapon. Reveals every fighter's favorite tool.

The Rocket Launcher dominated with 42 kills, including 12 by Anub1ss. The Sniper Rifle produced 15 kills; Vulgarus scored 7 of them and four headshots, while Anub1ss finished with two headshots overall.

Anub1ss did not stay tied to one range: he used the Rocket Launcher to control tighter spaces, then moved to the Sniper Rifle and Bio Rifle when longer lines opened. Vulgarus relied on survival and precision, which helped him build the five-kill spree. Rucha pushed more aggressively through Stinger, Link Gun and rockets but met prepared answers more often in the second half. Anub1ss's ability to change range and weapon without losing tempo was the key tactical edge.
