Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Vulgarus (117 dmg) · airborne kills: 25 · gutsiest kill: hemeroid (2 HP)
Match verdict: Vulgarus won 30:17:6 mainly because his nine-kill spree from 1:48 to 3:38 created a margin the others never reduced consistently. Longer survival, 11 Sniper Rifle kills and frequent immediate revenge kills prevented the rivals' short hot streaks from becoming a genuine comeback.
MVP goes to Vulgarus: 30 points, a nine-kill spree, five headshots and 17 revenge kills form a complete package. Jano earns the nod for ending the longest spree, while hemeroid owns the strongest late chase; the rocket suicides can remain trophy-free.
Vulgarus rules DM-KBarge from first frag to the last
From the opening Link Gun burst to the final sniper shot, Vulgarus kept the match firmly under control.
DM-KBarge did not deliver a battle for the lead this time; instead, it became a sustained attempt by two pursuers to break the rhythm of a player who settled into first place almost immediately. Vulgarus opened the scoring at 0:26 with a Link Gun kill on hemeroid and never surrendered the lead. Jano answered with a Flak Cannon kill at 1:23 and hemeroid joined in soon after, but the gap to the leader widened quickly. Short firefights, rocket suicides and accurate long-range shots followed, yet the defining theme was Vulgarus surviving longer, punishing mistakes and answering setbacks almost instantly.
First blood and an immediate escape
The first frag came at 0:26, when Vulgarus caught hemeroid with the Link Gun from 8.7 metres. Twenty-five seconds later he added a Sniper Rifle headshot on Jano. Jano replied with the Flak Cannon at 1:23, while hemeroid took Jano at 1:39, but Jano immediately lost a point to a rocket suicide. When Vulgarus dropped hemeroid with the Shock Rifle at 1:48, the defining run of the match began.
From 1:48 to 3:38 Vulgarus collected nine kills without dying, rotating between the Sniper Rifle, Link Gun, Shock Combo and Rocket Launcher. His back-to-back sniper kills at 2:05 and 2:07 produced a Double Kill, and by 3:29 he had reached 11 points while Jano was still on zero. Jano finally ended the spree with the Flak Cannon at 3:38. It was not a comeback, but it proved the leader could be stopped.
The fourth minute: eight kills, no peace
The fourth minute was the busiest of the match with eight kills. hemeroid cut down Jano at close range, Vulgarus answered with rockets and the Link Gun, and Jano searched for openings to counterattack. At 4:05 Jano hit Vulgarus with the Rocket Launcher, only for hemeroid to remove Jano with Flak four seconds later. At 4:34 came the classic rocket comedy: hemeroid killed Jano from 0.8 metres and blew himself up at the same moment.
Through the chaos, Vulgarus protected his advantage. Link Gun kills at 5:22 and 5:25 produced another Double Kill, followed immediately by an Enforcer frag. Even a rocket suicide at 5:48 did not disrupt him; he returned with a Shock Combo and Shock Rifle kills. The score kept climbing without a single lead change, and by 6:50 Vulgarus had 20 points. His rivals had productive bursts, but none lasted long enough to erase the early deficit.
Silence, Jano's surge and hemeroid's chase
After hemeroid killed Vulgarus at 7:23, the match entered its longest drought: 74 seconds without a frag. Jano broke the silence at 8:37 with a rocket on Vulgarus, then added three more kills between 9:12 and 9:37, two on the leader and one on hemeroid. It was Jano's best stretch, finally turning his aggressive Rocket Launcher play into a run of points.
Then hemeroid seized the initiative. Rockets and the Flak Cannon powered a strong phase from 10:17 to 11:40, including a Double Kill at 11:31. He killed Vulgarus twice in succession and climbed to 16 points, but the leader's cushion was already too large. Vulgarus answered at 12:02 with a rocket on Jano and four seconds later a sniper kill on hemeroid for another Double Kill. At 12:18 he landed the longest kill of the match, a 43.6-metre Sniper Rifle shot on hemeroid.
A finish without panic
From 26 points onward, the question was mostly whether the pursuers could delay the finish. Jano still caught the leader with Flak at 12:50, and hemeroid struck with a rocket at 13:16 before adding Jano in the same second for a Double Kill. Vulgarus then killed Jano with a rocket at 13:46 but also died to his own blast, leaving his score on 27. Jano added two late suicides, and any chance of significantly improving his total disappeared.
The final points belonged to the leader. At 14:37 Vulgarus hit Jano with the Rocket Launcher, five seconds later sniped hemeroid, and at 15:18 closed the match at 30 with another Sniper Rifle shot on hemeroid from 41.3 metres. He survived the winning frag with only 10 HP. There was no late miracle or photo finish; it was a controlled performance that began with first blood and ended exactly where the previous fifteen minutes had been pointing.

The final 30:17:6 score mirrors the flow of the match. Vulgarus controlled the pace, hemeroid accelerated sharply in the second half, and Jano repeatedly interrupted the leader at awkward moments, but paid too often for his own aggression. The winner posted the most damage, five headshots, the longest average life at 51 seconds and 17 revenge kills. DM-KBarge therefore became less a story of a comeback than a demonstration of how an early lead is built in small increments and then protected through accuracy, weapon choice and the ability to stay alive a little longer than everyone else.
