Anub1ss flips Korumi: from 20:24 to a 30:26 finish
hemeroid held the wheel for a long time, but Anub1ss took over the pace, the rockets and the scoreboard in the finish.
DM-1on1-Korumi delivered a Normal Deathmatch that did not begin as a duel between the eventual top two, but as a compact tournament of chaos. hemeroid drew first blood on Jano after 28 seconds with the Enforcer, Zamerovac immediately started a run of his own, and closed the opening minute with a Double Kill. Anub1ss played only 658 of the full 872 seconds and did not record his first kill until 267. From there, however, the rhythm of the match began to change. Five lead changes, a Rocket Launcher serving as the main working tool, and a finish in which 20:24 became a 30:26 victory turned Korumi into a match of two very different halves.
First blood, Zamerovac and the early scramble
The first clean strike arrived at 28 seconds, when hemeroid dropped Jano with the Enforcer for the authoritative first blood. Two seconds later Zamerovac answered with a Flak Cannon kill on hemeroid, then added two Stinger kills at 47 and 48 seconds, the second on Jano completing a Double Kill. The early lead therefore belonged neither to the eventual winner nor to one stable controller of the map. Jano replied with the Rocket Launcher and had four kills by 159 seconds, so the opening phase felt more like a fight for survival than a settled race for first place.
Then came the longest quiet stretch of the match: after Jano's kill at 159, 70 seconds passed without another opponent kill. During that period both Zamerovac and Jano paid for their own explosives, and the scoreboard moved backward as well as forward. Zamerovac later left with a score of three after five kills and two suicides. The opening had already established Korumi's rule for the night: aggressive pressure could earn points quickly, but careless explosives could erase them just as fast.
hemeroid builds a lead, Anub1ss finds speed
Anub1ss first appeared in the log as the victim of hemeroid's Bio Rifle at 241 seconds and earned his first kill at 267 with a Sniper Rifle shot on Jano. hemeroid looked more settled in this phase. Between 297 and 323 he killed Jano three times in a row, twice with the Bio Rifle, reaching seven points. Anub1ss answered with Flak Cannon and Rocket Launcher kills. By 367 seconds he had six points to hemeroid's eight, and the race at the front was narrowing toward the pair that would eventually finish first and second.
hemeroid kept the pressure in the middle of the match. At 439 seconds he linked two rocket eliminations into a Double Kill, sitting on 13 while Jano had five and Anub1ss nine. Soon he led Anub1ss 14:10, and at 517 he stretched that gap to 16:10. The Rocket Launcher had become the clear currency of Korumi: it produced 43 non-suicide kills, 18 for Anub1ss and 16 for hemeroid. The map was gradually turning into an accounting exercise measured in explosions.
From 20:24 to level: the comeback begins
At 674 seconds hemeroid still had the highlight of the range chart, landing the longest kill of the match on Anub1ss with a Rocket Launcher from 38.3 metres and moving to 20 points. Two seconds later Jano answered him with a rocket, and the pace around this phase surged. The busiest minute was the twelfth, with ten kills. At 694 seconds Anub1ss hit hemeroid with a Shock Combo and started the run that the computed statistics mark as the longest spree of the match: 15 kills from 694 to 861 without an opponent ending it.
That spree did not produce the lead immediately. hemeroid still scored at 740, 747 and 752, reaching 24 while Anub1ss was on 20. From there the shape of the match changed. Anub1ss killed Jano twice, caught hemeroid with another Shock Combo at 790, then tied the score 24:24 with a rocket at 799. Seven seconds later he completed a Double Kill on Jano, and by 813 another Rocket Launcher hit on hemeroid had made it 27:24. What had been a lead became a chase in less than a minute.
The final minute belongs to Anub1ss
After the turn, hemeroid could not find a comparable run to retake control. Rikoset disrupted him with a Link Gun kill at 821, and Anub1ss followed with Flak Cannon kills on hemeroid and Rikoset. At 842 seconds Anub1ss was sitting on 29 points. The ending then added one final oddity: hemeroid reached 25 against Jano, Jano replied in the same second, and at 861 Anub1ss killed himself with the Rocket Launcher while also killing Rikoset, leaving his score at 29. hemeroid still found point 26 against Rikoset at 866.
The decision came at 871 seconds. Anub1ss hit hemeroid with the Link Gun and reached the target score of 30. He finished with 33 kills, 11 deaths and three suicides; hemeroid ended on 26 points from 26 kills. Jano took third with 10 points while still collecting 10 assists in a match full of traffic around him. The finish was frantic, but not random: Anub1ss rotated between rockets, Shock Combo, Flak Cannon and Link Gun, turning a pursuit into a controlled finish.

Korumi ultimately rewarded neither the fastest starter nor the player with the longest shot, but the one who accelerated best through the last three minutes. hemeroid owned first blood, a meaningful mid-game lead and the 38.3-metre highlight, yet Anub1ss survived the decisive phase more efficiently and converted a four-point deficit into a four-point victory. Five lead changes show that the result did not develop in a straight line. The final Link Gun hit at 871 merely closed a door that Anub1ss had opened with his run beginning at 694. The 30:26 score was the end of a comeback, not a lucky last frag.
