Jano stood one frag from the limit, but hemeroid survived the finish and turned the duel to 30:29 with the final rocket.
DM-Deck produced exactly the kind of Deathmatch where the scoreboard could not be ignored. hemeroid drew first blood after 11 seconds, dropping Zamerovac with the Enforcer, but the early edge quickly became a fight for every point. Jano recovered from a slower start, moved into the lead, and was repeatedly reeled back in by hemeroid. Their direct rivalry produced 22 kills, split perfectly at 11 apiece. Zamerovac kept interfering with Link Gun bursts and Shock Combos, while Nanoblack made the opening dangerous for both leaders. After 20 minutes and 12 seconds, only one point remained between them: hemeroid 30, Jano 29.
First blood and the first battle for the lead
hemeroid struck first at 0:11: Enforcer, Zamerovac, 1:0. Ten seconds later he added Nanoblack with the Bio Rifle, then hit him again at 0:46, so the opening belonged to hemeroid. Nanoblack answered with a Redeemer kill from 63.3 meters and later caught Jano with the Sniper Rifle. Jano entered the scoring at 1:07 with a Rocket Launcher kill on Zamerovac.
At 2:04 Jano tied the match 3:3 after another kill on hemeroid, and at 2:43 a rocket on Nanoblack put him alone in front. hemeroid stayed close, but Jano used the Rocket Launcher relentlessly and reached ten points by 5:28. Zamerovac disrupted both leaders with two quick Link Gun kills on Jano and hemeroid. The lead changed hands four times overall.
Ten apiece and hemeroid fights back
In the seventh minute, hemeroid completed the catch. At 7:19 he hit Jano with the Sniper Rifle, and the only headshot of the match made it 10:10. At 8:11 a Rocket Launcher kill on Jano moved hemeroid ahead 11:10. Two seconds later Zamerovac killed him with the Enforcer, yet hemeroid immediately answered with a rocket on Zamerovac, registering a Double Kill and moving to 12.
The match kept drifting back toward parity. Jano suffered a Rocket Launcher suicide at 10:23, and Zamerovac soon lost a point to his own Redeemer. After Jano killed hemeroid at 12:05 it was 15:15, and less than a minute later 16:16. Jano's average kill distance was only 11.4 meters, compared with 22.8 for hemeroid and 24.5 for Nanoblack.
Jano's seven-kill spree and the busiest minute
The biggest tempo shift came from Jano. From 11:05 to 13:12 he collected seven kills without dying, the longest spree of the match, and climbed to 19 points. His aggressive Rocket Launcher play was devastating at short range. At 13:12 hemeroid ended the run with a Redeemer from 31.8 meters; one second later hemeroid killed himself with the same weapon, reducing the value of the counterattack.
Then came the fifteenth minute, the busiest of the match with nine kills. Between 14:01 and 14:54 Jano hunted Zamerovac and freedie00, hemeroid replied with rockets on Zamerovac, Jano and freedie00, and Zamerovac took Jano with the Enforcer. hemeroid also logged a Double Kill at 14:14. The longest gap between regular kills was 51 seconds after 9:41, with Jano's suicide at 10:23 in the middle.
Jano reaches 29, then the last rocket decides it
The finish became a chase. At 16:03 Jano killed hemeroid from 2.2 meters to move ahead 24:23, then added more rockets and reached 28 with a Redeemer kill on hemeroid at 18:37. Two seconds later he rocketed Zamerovac, earned a Double Kill and moved to 29. The thirty-point limit was one frag away, while hemeroid was still on 26.
hemeroid refused to let the match go. At 18:55 he killed Jano with the Sniper Rifle, at 19:04 he added Zamerovac, and at 19:30—on only 2 HP—another rocket tied it 29:29. Zamerovac then killed Jano at 19:53 and hemeroid at 19:57 with the Stinger. At 20:12, from 6.8 meters, hemeroid hit Jano with the Rocket Launcher and closed the match 30:29.
