hemeroid turns DM-Corrugation around and reaches thirty
Tarydium owned the start, but hemeroid turned a long chase into a 30:24 victory.
DM-Corrugation began without any cautious feeling-out phase. Jano opened the scoring after just 13 seconds, taking first blood on Spawnfrag with the Flak Cannon, but the opening minutes quickly became Tarydium's show. Tarydium punished both Jano and hemeroid with the Sniper Rifle, Flak Cannon and Shock Combo, reaching six points by 85 seconds while hemeroid was still waiting for his first. That point finally came at 100 seconds against Tarydium itself. From there the match started to change: hemeroid raised the tempo, found the Rocket Launcher and began cutting into a lead that had looked very comfortable at the start.
Tarydium builds the early cushion
The opening belonged clearly to Tarydium. Jano's first blood was answered immediately by a Sniper Rifle kill at 14 seconds, followed by more hits on hemeroid and Jano. At 55 seconds Tarydium led with four points while hemeroid was still on zero; by 85 seconds the leader had six. Shock Combo was especially effective against Jano, and Tarydium kept switching weapons according to range. Spawnfrag was more than background noise, staying involved with the Link Gun, Flak Cannon and later the Shock Rifle.
hemeroid finally got moving after scoring at 100 seconds. Two Stinger kills on Tarydium helped start the recovery, then the Rocket Launcher became the main instrument. From 163 to 382 seconds hemeroid produced the match's longest spree, seven kills without dying. Spawnfrag, Tarydium and Jano all fell during that run, mostly to rockets with Stinger and Bio Rifle support. Spawnfrag ended the spree at 382 seconds with the Link Gun, but the damage was already done: the player who had watched Tarydium race six points ahead was now a direct threat for first place.
The chase breaks open at thirteen
The middle of the match was less about one explosion and more about steadily erasing the gap. Tarydium stayed in front for a long time, but hemeroid kept answering, and his 13 revenge kills were the most in the match. At 572 seconds he killed Tarydium with a rocket to make it 13:13. Four seconds later another rocket dropped Jano, completed a Double Kill and moved hemeroid to 14 points. The hunter had become the hunted. With only two lead changes in the entire game, this was not a cheap exchange of first place after every frag; hemeroid had to earn the turnaround over many minutes.
He then made life harder for himself with a Rocket Launcher suicide at 595 seconds, dropping back to 13. Tarydium drew level again, but hemeroid separated once more: between 666 and 755 seconds he added five points, moving from 15 to 20. The first precise Sniper Rifle headshots also arrived in this stretch. Spawnfrag answered with a Double Kill of his own at 807 and 808 seconds, taking out hemeroid and Tarydium, but by then hemeroid had a margin he was repeatedly able to rebuild.
Rockets, sniper shots and a very long Stinger kill
The Rocket Launcher ruled the weapon table with 24 non-suicide kills, including 12 for hemeroid. Yet his game was not only about rockets. He added seven Stinger kills and, at 893 seconds, dropped Tarydium with the Stinger from 41.8 metres, the longest kill of the match. That is an unusually long signature for a weapon often associated with closer pressure. hemeroid also had the highest average kill distance at 16.3 metres and recorded all three headshots in the game.
The pace came in waves. The first minute was the busiest with seven kills, and the third minute also contained seven according to the minute-by-minute breakdown. The biggest silence began after 520 seconds: no kill came for 52 seconds, until hemeroid hit Tarydium at 572 seconds to tie the match at 13:13. That contrast fit the game perfectly — frantic bursts followed by a long quiet spell, with one of the night's decisive moments arriving immediately after the longest pause.
Tarydium attacks late, hemeroid closes the door
Late in the match hemeroid looked increasingly comfortable: he had 23 points at 905 seconds, 24 after 933, and reached 28 by 1008. Tarydium refused to disappear. Starting at 1059 seconds it launched a final surge — a Link Gun kill on hemeroid, another on Jano one second later for a Double Kill, then another hemeroid kill followed by Jano with the Flak Cannon and Rocket Launcher. Tarydium climbed from 19 to 24 and reminded everyone why it had been the winner's biggest opponent from the opening minute.
There was not enough time or space for a complete comeback. hemeroid answered at 1111 seconds with the Enforcer against Tarydium to reach 29. The final point arrived at 1117, again with the Enforcer, this time against Jano. The final 30:24 margin was not created by one lucky blast but by a seven-kill spree, steady Rocket Launcher production, frequent revenge kills and a composed close. Tarydium won the beginning; hemeroid won the number that mattered on the scoreboard.

DM-Corrugation became a clean example of a match in which the opening minutes lied. Tarydium built the early lead, Jano opened the account with first blood and Spawnfrag repeatedly interfered with the leaders, but hemeroid refused to be defined by a poor start. His seven-kill spree, 13 revenge kills, twelve rocket kills and three headshots created the platform for the turnaround. When Tarydium produced one last surge, hemeroid still found two Enforcer eliminations in the closing seconds and stopped exactly on 30. The 30:24 score looks clear, even though the path to it was much more dramatic.
