KST Turns Codex Around as Bio Rifle Seals the Thirty
Vystrel exploded out of the gate, but KST gradually claimed the pace, the range and the Bio Rifle before shutting the door in the final seconds.
DM-Codex needed no warm-up. At 15 seconds Vystrel hit Ironguard with the Flak Cannon for first blood, then added a Shock Rifle Double Kill before the first minute was over and quickly settled into the lead. KST collected points more patiently and spent the opening minutes looking at the back of a fast-starting Vystrel. That was not passivity, though: KST rotated through the Stinger, Rocket Launcher and especially the Bio Rifle, favored medium-range engagements and steadily prepared the comeback. Once the match reached its middle phase, the early lead stopped being insurance and Codex became a test of who could keep an effective weapon and useful distance for the longest stretch.
Vystrel lit the fuse, Ironguard answered up close
Vystrel stamped his name on the opening immediately. First blood came at 0:15 against Ironguard with a Flak Cannon hit from 3.7 meters. By 51 seconds he had his second point, and two seconds later he dropped Brokar with the Shock Rifle to complete a Double Kill. At 76 seconds he was already on four points. Ironguard, meanwhile, had made his own start harder with a Bio Rifle suicide at 32 seconds and had to climb out of negative score.
Ironguard recovered sharply. Between 137 and 145 seconds he eliminated KST, Vystrel and Brokar; the last two kills were only three seconds apart and produced a Double Kill. Vystrel still answered, reaching 10 points during the fifth minute while KST sat on five. That fifth minute was the busiest of the match with seven kills, exactly the kind of Codex chaos in which a comfortable lead can disappear faster than the next pickup.
KST changed the rhythm and ate into the gap
KST did not return to contention through one spectacular burst, but through a chain of accurate, varied kills. At 301 seconds he sent Vystrel into the lava from 31.9 meters, then removed Brokar with the Rocket Launcher and kept adding points with the Bio Rifle. At 381 seconds he killed Ironguard to reach 10; eight seconds later Vystrel tied it at 10:10 with the Sniper Rifle. The overall sequence shows that this middle section contained the match's only recorded lead change, after which KST never surrendered first place.
Range was crucial. KST's average kill distance was 20.1 meters, almost twice Brokar's and Vystrel's figures. The Bio Rifle was not merely his listed favorite: it delivered 15 of his 30 kills. Whenever the fight stretched beyond point-blank Flak Cannon territory, KST gained room to work. At 556 and 563 seconds he removed Vystrel twice in succession with the Bio Rifle, turning a narrow advantage into a pattern rather than a temporary edge.
Brokar's seven-kill run kept the pressure alive
The middle game did not become calm after KST took control. From 670 seconds Brokar produced the longest spree of the match: seven kills without dying, lasting until 891. He scored mainly with the Flak Cannon, Link Gun and Stinger and climbed to 18 points. At 857 and 882 seconds he killed Vystrel twice in a row, making second place a live contest. Brokar also had the best average life span of the four players at 55 seconds.
KST answered that run with a different form of consistency. From 704 to 750 seconds he added five kills, four of them with the Bio Rifle, moving from 18 to 22. Vystrel tried to slow him with the Bio Rifle, Shock Combo and Stinger, even killing KST twice within six seconds at 813 and 819. KST kept the lead and finished with eight immediate revenge kills, the highest total in the match. Attempts to stop him repeatedly triggered a fast response.
Long-range rockets and a Bio finish closed Codex
The decisive stretch began after 841 seconds. KST first removed Vystrel with the Bio Rifle from 31.3 meters, then at 891 hit Brokar with the Rocket Launcher to end the seven-kill spree. Five seconds later came the longest kill of the match: KST hit Vystrel with a Rocket Launcher from 35.1 meters and moved to 26. Vystrel still killed KST with the Link Gun at 915, but the answer arrived one second later: Bio Rifle, point number 27.
After Brokar's Sniper Rifle kill at 932 seconds, the match entered its longest quiet spell, 48 seconds without a kill. When action resumed, Vystrel scored on Ironguard, Ironguard hit Brokar, and then KST delivered the final three. Bio Rifle on Vystrel at 991 seconds from 35 meters, Ironguard at 995, Vystrel again at 999. The scoreboard jumped from 27 to 30 before the timer reached 1000 seconds. KST won 30:19, with Brokar and Vystrel tied on 19 and Ironguard on 9.

Codex was not won by the player who struck first, but by the one who turned the middle of the match into lasting control. Vystrel opened violently and Brokar supplied the longest late spree, yet KST built his margin with the Bio Rifle, maintained a much longer average kill distance and answered attacks with eight immediate revenge kills. The last seconds became a signature on a result that was already leaning his way: three fast points, 30 on the board and a clear gap to the pair on 19. Ironguard had bright stretches, but two suicides made his final total even harder to recover.
