KST breaks Grinder with a seven-kill run and late hold
Grinder opened with rockets, tightened into a three-way race, then swung on KST's seven-kill surge.
KST opened DM-Grinder-RE exactly the way a Deathmatch should begin: without introductions. At 23 seconds he hit Trefa with the Rocket Launcher for first blood, then added Roznetka nine seconds later. The first twist came immediately, because at 42 seconds KST blew himself up with his own rocket and lost a point. What could have become a clean early lead turned into traffic. Trefa and Roznetka both took turns at the top, and the match recorded four lead changes overall. KST's eventual 30:26 win was therefore not a quiet wire-to-wire cruise, but a recovery built through weapon changes, revenge kills and one decisive late streak.
Rockets, a self-kill and a moving lead
After KST's first blood came the first brake: his own Rocket Launcher cut his score from two to one at 42 seconds. Roznetka drew level at 51, while Trefa moved to 2:1 at 126 seconds after kills on Krallbait and Roznetka. The gap between Trefa's kills at 64 and 126 seconds was the match's longest quiet spell, 62 seconds without a kill.
The silence did not last. Roznetka pushed to 3:2 with the Enforcer, KST answered with the Bio Rifle, and at 210 seconds Trefa killed KST with the Flak Cannon to reach five points. Trefa later led on seven, but KST kept harvesting with the Bio Rifle. He tied Trefa at 7:7 at 283 seconds and, after another Bio Rifle kill on Krallbait at 311, moved to eight and took the lead for good.
Krallbait erupts and Rockjock joins the fight
KST had the lead, but no peace. Between 333 and 335 seconds Krallbait killed KST, Trefa and Roznetka in three straight Stinger attacks, the last one registering as a Multi Kill. It was the sharpest burst of the first half and briefly changed the rhythm of the whole map. KST responded with steadier scoring across Stinger, Rocket Launcher, Link Gun and Bio Rifle, even though a second self-kill with the Bio Rifle at 475 seconds cost him another point.
Rockjock then became a major part of the traffic. His first recorded kill came at 503 seconds; at 511 and 513 he added KST and Krallbait, with the second frag completing a Double Kill. Roznetka and Trefa stayed close, but KST's advantage was variety: his final 32 kills came through six weapons, with an average kill distance of 21.3 metres.
The seven-kill run that made the difference
The decisive passage began at 760 seconds when KST hit Krallbait with the Shock Rifle. He then killed Trefa, Roznetka, Trefa again, Krallbait, Trefa once more and Krallbait again. By 899 seconds KST had collected seven kills without dying, the longest spree of the match, and finally created a margin large enough to survive the late chaos. Shock Rifle, Link Gun, Shock Combo, Stinger and Rocket Launcher all appeared in that sequence.
Strelko supplied the dramatic full stop. After playing only 228 seconds in total, he ended KST's spree at 899 seconds with the Link Gun. Three seconds later KST answered with a Bio Rifle kill on Strelko from 68.4 metres, the longest kill of the match. The streak had been stopped, but the response was immediate.
The busiest minute and the final point
The 15:00–15:59 interval was the busiest minute in the computed data, with 12 kills excluding suicides. Strelko attacked the leaders, Rockjock kept scoring and Trefa stayed within reach, while KST advanced to 26, 27 and then 28 at 976 seconds. Trefa, meanwhile, kept climbing and would eventually reach 26.
KST reached match point at 990 seconds with a Shock Combo on Strelko for 29. Then the finish stalled: Trefa killed him with the Bio Rifle, Strelko with the Stinger, Krallbait with a Shock Combo and Trefa again with the Link Gun. Roznetka moved to 22 and Krallbait to 17 during the delay. Only at 1090 seconds did KST land the final Stinger kill on Roznetka and close the Deathmatch 30:26.

KST won because he turned a volatile opening into a stable advantage at exactly the right moment. Two suicides could have dragged him out of the race, but 32 kills, eight revenge kills and the seven-kill spree outweighed those mistakes. Trefa remained the nearest challenger and his late push to 26 forced KST to earn the last point under pressure. Grinder therefore delivered no clean domination: it gave four lead changes, brief multikill explosions and a finish in which the winning score arrived on the final recorded frag.
