MVP goes to Jano for the 30:26 win, the seven-kill spree and 17 immediate revenge kills. hemeroid earns the long-range prize for the 40.1 m Bio Rifle shot, while Drtic gets the party-crasher award for being the one player who stopped Jano's streak.
Jano Turns Korumi Around with a Seven-Kill Rocket Run
hemeroid controlled the race for a long time, but Jano opened a rocket-powered highway to thirty in the closing minutes.
DM-1on1-Korumi delivered pressure constantly changing hands. Firstblood lived up to the name after 10 seconds, taking the first blood on Telefrag with the Bio Rifle, then adding Jano with the Flak Cannon ten seconds later. The initiative soon shifted to hemeroid, while Jano advanced in smaller steps. In a match with two official lead changes, the decisive chapter began only after 19:19. From there Jano found a Rocket Launcher rhythm that turned the balance and eventually produced a 30:26 win.
Firstblood strikes first, then hemeroid takes command
Firstblood opened exactly as the name promised: Telefrag fell to a Bio Rifle at 0:10, and Jano was sent back by a Flak Cannon ten seconds later. hemeroid quickly took over the initiative. At 0:27 he hit Telefrag with the Bio Rifle from 40.1 metres, which remained the longest kill of the match. Jano entered the scoring at 0:30 by using the Flak Cannon on hemeroid.
After one minute hemeroid had three points to Jano's two; after two minutes the gap was 6:4. Telefrag kept stirring the order with the Rocket Launcher, Link Gun and even a Shock Combo, while Firstblood remained close through the Flak Cannon. The first two minutes produced 8 and 10 kills, so calm weapon shopping on Korumi was more theory than reality.
hemeroid builds the first serious gap with Bio Rifle
During the fifth and sixth minutes, hemeroid finally created real separation. At 5:24 he killed Jano with the Bio Rifle for 13:12, then used the same weapon on Telefrag, Jano again and Telefrag once more. The final hits formed a level-2 Multi Kill, and at 5:43 hemeroid led 16:12.
This was not a lucky burst from one weapon. hemeroid finished with 11 Bio Rifle kills and 13 Rocket Launcher kills, while averaging 18 metres per kill, the longest mark in the field. Jano pushed much closer and averaged only nine metres. In this phase hemeroid combined mid-range control with explosive pressure better than anyone and looked like the player who had the match under control.
Nineteen all: one close rocket changes the direction
Jano began shrinking the deficit, mainly with the Rocket Launcher. At 7:29 hemeroid still led 19:17, but Jano then hit Firstblood, Telefrag and finally hemeroid at 7:51 from only 0.9 metres. The score was 19:19. Jano also blew himself up with his own rocket at that same moment, so the tie did not create an immediate escape, but the momentum had clearly changed.
Ten seconds later Jano dropped hemeroid again with the Rocket Launcher and moved into sole possession of first place at 20:19. It was the second and final official lead change. hemeroid never returned to the top, and from this point the fight for the win was unmistakably reduced to Jano versus hemeroid.
Seven rockets, seven kills, and the decisive break
From 8:01 to 9:21 Jano produced the run that decided the match. He scored seven consecutive kills, all seven with the Rocket Launcher; the sequence also included a Double Kill completed on hemeroid. The score stretched from 20:19 to 26:21. Across the full match Jano earned 25 of his 33 kills with rockets, so this weapon was not merely his favourite choice but the engine of the comeback.
Only Drtic stopped the streak, using the Link Gun at 9:30. He later added kills on hemeroid, Jano and Telefrag and stepped directly into the busiest phase of the match. The tenth minute produced 13 kills, more than any other minute. Drtic finished with only five points, but the award for interrupting the night's longest spree belonged to him without debate.
Final minute: suicides, revenge, and point thirty at 11:31
After the streak ended, Jano still had work to do. Telefrag caught him with a rocket at 9:55, and at 10:36 Jano killed hemeroid but also blew himself up with the Rocket Launcher, dropping from 28 back to 27. At 10:59 hemeroid hit Jano with the Bio Rifle and reached 24 against Jano's 28. The finish was not ceremonial yet.
Jano answered with a Bio Rifle kill on Telefrag and then used the Rocket Launcher on Drtic at 11:22 to reach 29. The final picture arrived at 11:31: hemeroid killed Telefrag to reach 26, while at the same second Jano hit Firstblood with the Rocket Launcher from two metres and closed the match at 30. The winning target point landed in the final recorded second.
