Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: KST (95 dmg) · airborne kills: 25 · gutsiest kill: Odstrel (5 HP)
Match verdict: Kropic won 30–29 because he converted two late confrontations with Walldodge after a Slime death reduced his tally from 29 to 28. KST’s chase produced a 29–28 lead but no thirtieth point; finishing chances mattered more than survival efficiency.

Kropic steals the win from KST with the final rocket
KST had victory in sight until Kropic wrote the ending with a rocket.
DM-1on1-Duality might sound like a stage for two, but this Normal Deathmatch had four contenders and no interest in tidy scripts. Kropic, KST, Walldodge and Odstrel chased the 30-point target for all 941 seconds. The lead changed 12 times. KST delivered the longest killing spree and lived the longest on average, Walldodge supplied the rockets and the longest-distance hit, and Odstrel fired the opening shot. Yet the last word belonged to Kropic, who reached the target at the very end. It was less a chess match than a chessboard covered in explosives.
First blood and four contenders
Odstrel struck first, eliminating Kropic with a Bio Rifle from 14.4 metres at 22 seconds. KST followed four seconds later with a Flak Cannon kill against Kropic, then landed a Shock Combo on Odstrel at 31 seconds. Kropic finally answered at 37 seconds with a Flak Cannon hit on KST, followed by another on Walldodge at 41. Walldodge returned fire with a rocket in the very same second. Nobody had established a monopoly on survival.
By 88 seconds Odstrel had five points to Kropic's three. Ten kills arrived during minute two, turning every encounter into a possible leaderboard reshuffle. At 69 seconds KST killed Walldodge with the Bio Rifle, the opening move in a streak that would become legendary within this one match. Meanwhile, repeated exchanges between Kropic and Walldodge were beginning to shape the central rivalry.
Walldodge attacks; KST builds a huge streak
Walldodge seized the early momentum. At 159 seconds his score stood at eight, with Odstrel on five; by 232 seconds Walldodge had reached ten. Rockets, Stinger fire and occasional Flak Cannon hits kept his tally moving. Odstrel's early pace eased, while Kropic found a profitable rhythm using the Link Gun. A hit on Odstrel at 257 seconds gave Kropic his tenth point, closing the gap and reshuffling the race.
KST was conducting a different kind of campaign. From 69 through 347 seconds he scored ten consecutive kills without dying. At 260 he killed Kropic with the Bio Rifle, at 262 he killed Walldodge with the same weapon to score the match's only recorded Double Kill, and at 269 he caught Walldodge again. A rocket into Kropic at 347 seconds completed the ten-kill spree. Then, during that very same second, Kropic struck KST with a rocket and ended it. A dramatic reversal packed into a single timestamp.
Mid-match mistakes and a Link Gun response
After six minutes Kropic led KST 13–12, while Walldodge had slipped to eight, partly because of self-inflicted losses. KST continued combining Bio Rifle accuracy with rockets, but an apparent Shock Rifle-related suicide at 402 seconds cost him a point. At 404 Kropic killed Walldodge with a rocket and also lost a point to his own explosion. These were not minor bookkeeping errors: they influenced a game ultimately settled by one point.
At 466 seconds Kropic lost another point to Slime. KST hit Walldodge with the Shock Rifle at 468, but Kropic answered by killing Odstrel with the Link Gun at 500 and Walldodge with it at 508 and 527. During minute nine Kropic and KST both reached 16. Kropic's remarkable final total of 35 kills would become 30 points because of five suicides, proof that firepower alone was never going to tell the whole story.
A Kropic lead that refuses to hold
Kropic soon pulled away again. At 591 seconds he caught Odstrel with Slime from 24.5 metres; seven seconds later he eliminated Walldodge with the Stinger. Around minute eleven, Kropic, KST and Walldodge were all level on 19 points, but by the end of minute thirteen Kropic had reached 26 while KST sat on 21. That looked like room to breathe. The apparent leader, however, was about to discover how expensive one mistake could be.
Kropic hit 29 points at 812 seconds, then fell to 28 five seconds later after a Slime death. KST began an impressive chase: Bio Rifle kills over Kropic at 851 and Odstrel at 863, followed by a Shock Rifle kill over Kropic at 876, made it 28–27 to Kropic. Then came the match's longest gap between kills: 27 seconds of silence after the 876-second mark. For once the weapons had nothing to say, but the scoreboard was still waiting.
The last 65 seconds and the deciding rocket
At 903 seconds KST ended that silence with a Bio Rifle kill on Odstrel to draw level at 28–28. At 912 he hit Kropic with the Shock Rifle and went ahead 29–28. The player with a ten-kill streak, just one suicide and an average lifespan of 47 seconds was a single point from victory. Odstrel had other plans: he killed KST with the Stinger at 914 and again with a rocket from 32.1 metres at 936. Those kills interrupted the pursuer, though they did not deduct his score.
Kropic drew level at 930 seconds, killing Walldodge with the Link Gun from just 2.8 metres while retaining 25 health. Eleven seconds later he found Walldodge again, this time with a Rocket Launcher at 6.6 metres. The clock read 941 seconds. The score read 30–29. The final frag and the final whistle were effectively the same event; there was no time to defend the lead.

Kropic registered 35 kills, five suicides and 16 quick revenge kills, more than anybody else. Walldodge finished with 24 points and the longest-range shot; Odstrel took 21 points and first blood and disrupted KST at the death. Every player shaped the result. The winner, however, owned the only rocket that mattered after the clock reached its final second.
