Humans vs bots
The war of the camps: how many kills fell between humans and bots in each direction. Reveals who really won the war of species. best human KST (31 kills) vs best bot Kropic (16 kills).
KST earns MVP: 30 points, 31 kills, seven immediate revenge kills and the 85-metre distance record. Nabeh takes the six-kill-spree honour, Walldodge first blood and Odstrel a late Redeemer Double Kill; the self-inflicted mishap trophy has several contenders.
KST rules DM-Deck: rockets, reversals and a late blast
One lead change, a challenger’s six-kill spree and a gap that never closed.
DM-Deck knows the kind of story in which certainty vanishes in a second. Match 298 on UT3.sk also showed the other side of Deathmatch: control built gradually and never surrendered. Six opponents entered Normal mode with a target of thirty points, and over 859 seconds—14 minutes and 19 seconds—they delivered precise shots and spectacular mistakes alike. KST eventually won with 30 points, ahead of Kropic and Nabeh, both on twelve. That enormous gap still fails to tell the whole story. Somebody else drew first blood, another player produced the longest streak, and the ending offered both a long silence and a final entry on the scoreboard. To understand the result, follow the changing weapons and the timing of each run, not just the final standings.
First blood and the lead that changed hands
Eleven seconds in, Walldodge landed the first decisive rocket: Odstrel fell and first blood belonged to Walldodge. Three seconds later, however, an accidental rocket erased his opening point. KST hit him with the Bio Rifle at 21 seconds and repeated the trick at 34. Between those kills Kropic opened his account with a sniper shot from 55.1 metres. The early picture was unmistakable: high pace, little security and expensive points. The official data records only one change in the leader; after Walldodge's brief opening advantage KST took command.
At 50 seconds Kropic pulled level with KST at 2–2 using a Shock Combo, surviving on just one health point. KST responded at the 60-second mark with a Sniper Rifle hit, then fired rockets into Walldodge and Odstrel to establish a 5–2 margin. Odstrel repeatedly tested the leader with the Flak Cannon, but KST kept scoring with the Link Gun and even Slime. The strangest early sequence occurred at 137 seconds: Kropic eliminated Odstrel with the Redeemer and caught himself in the blast at exactly the same time.
Rocket discipline against the dangerous Kropic
Kropic averaged 19.5 metres per kill, against 18.5 for KST. In the middle phase Kropic stayed within sight by constantly switching weapons. Shock Combo, Stinger, Flak Cannon and Redeemer all featured, but self-inflicted deaths repeatedly reduced his net score. Meanwhile KST registered his tenth point at 262 seconds by rocketing Walldodge from 38.4 metres. At 289 seconds he eliminated Kropic with the same weapon and at 303 seconds Walldodge again. This was no single lucky strike: KST was collecting points methodically across the field.
Between 374 and 462 seconds KST extended the gap again. He eliminated Walldodge, then Nabeh twice, then Kropic and finally Odstrel. His Shock Combo kill at 462 seconds raised his score to seventeen; Kropic stood on eight. Kropic had landed fast rocket kills on Nabeh and KST at 377 and 381 seconds, but those moments could not sustain a comeback. The important distinction was consistency. KST translated encounters into points without repeatedly undoing his own work, even when rivals enjoyed impressive flashes.
The ninth minute: fourteen kills and a long-range surprise
From 480 through 539 seconds DM-Deck turned into a storm of eliminations. According to the match data the ninth minute contained fourteen kills, more than any other minute. At 485 seconds KST eliminated Walldodge with the Shock Rifle only one second after Walldodge had shot him with that same gun. At 490 KST hit Kropic and Kemper with the Flak Cannon for a Double Kill and his twentieth point. He then dropped Kemper with the Bio Rifle, and at 508 seconds produced the match's longest kill: Odstrel fell to a Bio Rifle shot from a remarkable 85 metres.
KST also eliminated Kemper twice with the Sniper Rifle; the second shot, at 529 seconds, was a headshot from 44.8 metres. He alone scored seven of the ninth minute's kills. By 568 seconds he had reached 25 points, while the chasing group could not narrow the difference. Across all players the Rocket Launcher was the deadliest weapon with nineteen kills, followed by seventeen for the Flak Cannon. Yet KST was never solely reliant on rockets. His ability to score with several tools made that burst decisive.
Nabeh’s streak, revenge and the very last second
Nabeh was not content to be a spectator. From 502 to 589 seconds he recorded six uninterrupted kills, the match's longest spree. His victims were KST, Odstrel, Walldodge, Kemper, KST again and Walldodge; the second kill on KST, at 581 seconds, registered as a Double Kill. Kemper finally broke the streak at 596 seconds with a Shock Rifle shot. Nabeh recovered and at 639 seconds eliminated Walldodge and Odstrel using successive Shock Combos for another Double Kill. Still, the overall victory remained beyond reach because KST's lead was already too large.
KST reached 28 points but at 732 seconds also killed himself with a rocket, so his score stayed at 28. A Bio Rifle kill on Kropic at 755 seconds made it 29. Odstrel provided a spectacular interruption with consecutive Redeemer kills on Kemper and Walldodge at 776 and 777 seconds. Then came the longest gap without a kill: 65 seconds, until Walldodge struck at 842. Kropic added a headshot on Odstrel at 850, but eight seconds later KST finished the match with a Stinger kill on Nabeh. The final 30–12–12 scores confirmed that the true turning point had arrived long before the finishing shot.
Match moments
- Walldodge drew first blood with a rocket against Odstrel at 11 seconds, then lost a point to his own rocket three seconds later.
- Kropic levelled with KST at 2–2 after a Shock Combo at 50 seconds, surviving with just one health point.
- KST claimed seven of the fourteen kills recorded in the ninth minute.
- At 508 seconds KST eliminated Odstrel with a Bio Rifle shot from 85 metres.
- Nabeh built a six-kill spree before Kemper ended it at 596 seconds.
- Odstrel scored a Redeemer Double Kill at 777 seconds.
- After a 65-second lull, KST ended the game by hitting Nabeh with the Stinger at 858 seconds.
KST takes the win with 30 points, 31 kills and fourteen deaths. Kropic and Nabeh finish with twelve points each, followed by Walldodge on ten, Kemper on seven and Odstrel on five. KST also secured seven immediate revenge kills and averaged 57 seconds per life, the longest of the six competitors. Nabeh owns the longest streak, Odstrel the loudest late fireworks and Walldodge the official first blood. So the DM-Deck story is more than an eighteen-point margin: it shows how a steady supply of good decisions can outweigh the most spectacular individual moments. Even the Redeemer, it turns out, does not always get the last word.
