Jano survives a wild rocket-fueled Memento Mori finale
Thirty kills apiece, only one winner: two self-inflicted penalties made the difference.
The Normal Deathmatch on DM-1on1-Memento-Mori on 24 October 2026 had a target of 30 points. After ten minutes and eight seconds, Jano topped the standings with 30, just ahead of hemeroid on 28. That narrow score concealed an extraordinary symmetry: both players registered exactly 30 kills. hemeroid, however, paid for two self-inflicted deaths with two lost points. The early story belonged partly to greg417, whose long-range precision and four-kill spree set the pace. mike1234 kept finding occasional openings; synpouch made a brief late appearance, while Walldodge has no recorded playing time. There were four lead changes, plenty of close-range mayhem and a finish that refused to follow the simplest script.
First blood, a double and a 56.2-metre answer
hemeroid struck first in the 16th second, blasting greg417 with the Rocket Launcher. Three seconds later Jano fell to the same weapon, completing a Double Kill. Jano retaliated with the Enforcer at 34 seconds, and at 44 seconds greg417 landed the match’s longest shot: a Shock Rifle kill on hemeroid from 56.2 metres. That was sniper-range work without a single recorded headshot.
greg417 added three more kills through 69 seconds, including a Shock Combo against Jano. His four-kill streak was the longest in the match, stretching from 44 seconds until Jano stopped it with a rocket at 77 seconds. At that point greg417 had four points to Jano’s two. The longest kill-free interval, 22 seconds after the 93-second mark, soon offered a rare interruption to the fireworks.
The early leader meets a steady comeback
At 116 seconds, greg417 caught mike1234 with a Shock Combo. At 137 and 140 seconds, two Flak Cannon kills, the second on Jano, made a Double Kill. By 167 seconds greg417 had nine points, while Jano had six. hemeroid was equally dangerous in close quarters: his rocket kill on Jano at 150 seconds left him standing on just six health.
Jano steadily recovered with both the Rocket Launcher and the Enforcer. He drew level with greg417 at 10–10 at 234 seconds and moved to eleven points twelve seconds later. At 282 seconds Jano led hemeroid 13–10, with greg417 on eleven points. At 402 seconds hemeroid tied Jano 19–19 using the Shock Rifle. By 416 seconds each had reached 20, thanks to separate kills on mike1234 and greg417.
