Metus on edge: hemeroid steals the finish, wins 30:28
Smrtak controlled the long middle stretch and Jano reached 28 first, but the last three decisive points belonged to hemeroid.
DM-1on1-Metus turned into a four-player squeeze where every lead was temporary. Palba drew first blood after only 12 seconds with a Shock Combo on hemeroid, then the scoreboard kept folding back on itself for the full 883 seconds. Smrtak looked strongest through the middle, Jano gradually reeled him in, and hemeroid spent much of the match close enough to punish any stumble without actually owning the lead. That changed at the very end. Five lead changes and a final spread of only three points made the match tight on paper; the final ten seconds made it memorable in practice.
Palba explodes out of the gate
First blood went to Palba at 0:12, a Shock Combo that dropped hemeroid and started the longest spree of the match. Jano answered with a rocket, hemeroid struck back with the Stinger, and at 0:45 Smrtak killed Jano and hemeroid in rapid succession for the first Double Kill. One second later, hemeroid put a rocket into Smrtak, so nobody was allowed a victory lap.
Palba's opening spree reached five kills from 12 to 115 seconds before Smrtak ended it with the Rocket Launcher. Palba had briefly led 3:2:2:1 at 69 seconds, but a Flak Cannon suicide at 120 seconds cut his score from five to four. That was the pattern of the entire match: momentum arrived quickly and could disappear in one bad blast.
Smrtak takes over the map
From the second minute onward, Smrtak became the most stable name at the top. He reached five points at 127 seconds and had 12 by 287, ahead of Palba on nine, Jano on eight, and hemeroid on seven. His weapon mix was the broadest of the field, with kills coming through eight different causes and the Stinger finishing as his favorite weapon.
hemeroid then delivered his first major warning. At 289, 293 and 296 seconds he killed Smrtak twice and then Palba, the final hit registering a level-2 Multi Kill. In only seven seconds he moved from six points against a 12-point leader to nine. Smrtak still led, but the gap had stopped feeling safe.
The seventh minute loses the brakes

By 738 he led hemeroid 27:25.

His average life lasted 33 seconds, the best of the four, and his average kill distance of 17.1 meters was also the highest. He stayed within range, then tied Jano 27:27 with a rocket at 802 seconds. Smrtak soon joined the cluster, and once again a single point covered the contenders.
Three hits decide everything
