Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Flakjack (95 dmg) · airborne kills: 51 · gutsiest kill: hemeroid (1 HP)
Match verdict: hemeroid won 30–24 in Normal Deathmatch on DM-1on1-Confined_1-1 because his middle-game six-kill streak created a margin that Bio Rifle scoring preserved. Jano’s 27 rocket kills and superior damage could not offset five suicides and periods spent chasing the score.

hemeroid Beats Jano in a Wild Confined Rocket Battle
The first shot belonged to an outsider; the last belonged to his opening victim.
Five fighters entered DM-1on1-Confined_1-1 on October 22, 2026 for a Normal Deathmatch with a target of 30 points. Over 723 seconds, hemeroid, Jano, Veteran, greg417 and Flakjack produced four changes of lead and an astonishing amount of rocket fire. The opening scene was the opposite of the eventual result: at five seconds Flakjack shot hemeroid with an Enforcer for first blood. The future winner was the first casualty. Jano immediately began collecting victims with his Rocket Launcher, while hemeroid found answers with rockets and the Bio Rifle. This was not merely a contest of damage; every suicide would also move the score in the wrong direction.
An Enforcer opening, then the rockets
At 0:11 Jano killed Flakjack with a rocket, then eliminated Veteran nine seconds later. By 0:36, another rocket against hemeroid had put him ahead 3–1. hemeroid responded with Bio Rifle against Veteran, Flak Cannon against Flakjack and a rocket against Veteran. With five competitors contributing, no two-person duel stayed private for long.
Flakjack departed after 85 seconds with three kills but only one point because of two suicides. hemeroid blew himself up at 1:04, and Jano lost rocket points at 1:56 and 2:26, then again at 2:54. The longest gap between kills, 22 seconds, followed the action at 1:52. At 2:44 a hemeroid rocket killed Jano and levelled their personal scores at 7–7. The early leader had lost his cushion, and the match had found its main argument.
Bio Rifle makes a statement
During the next stretch hemeroid steadily gained ground. At 3:19 greg417 scored an unusual kill on Jano through a fall from height, and at 3:37 he took down Veteran with the Impact Hammer. hemeroid had already reached ten points at 3:24, and his 33.6-metre Bio Rifle hit against Jano at 4:11 made it 11–8. It was a warning: not everything on this small map would be decided by a rocket at arm’s length.
Jano kept firing rockets, while Veteran used Flak Cannon and Link Gun and greg417 fought back with Stinger. In the middle of those interruptions, hemeroid reached 15 points by killing Jano at 5:08, leaving Jano on ten. The match record notes four lead changes in total. Far from simply trading blows, hemeroid was changing the method of attack, combining a powerful Rocket Launcher with long and intermediate Bio Rifle hits. Jano could answer, but too often had to start chasing again.
Six unanswered kills and a packed seventh minute
From 5:47 until 8:03, hemeroid put together the match’s longest streak: six kills before his next death. He struck Jano, greg417 and Veteran; a rapid pair against greg417 and Jano finished a Double Kill at 6:23. A rocket against Jano at 6:39 pushed his total to 20, and Veteran’s elimination at 6:57 took him to 21, with Jano on 13. This was the decisive passage, not because of a single miracle shot but through repeated clean returns to the scoreboard.
The seventh minute was the busiest, registering 11 kills. Jano had his own Double Kill at 5:37; Veteran registered two, at 6:55 and 9:34. Jano and Veteran also generated the fiercest head-to-head battle: 22 kills between them, 13 for Jano and nine for Veteran. At 8:03 Jano finally stopped hemeroid’s six-kill streak with a rocket. He had won that exchange, but he still needed to erase an entire sequence of losses.
The late push and the Stinger finish
Jano scored his 18th point by 8:20 and his 21st by 9:02. At 9:23, hemeroid stood on 24 and Jano on 21, before hemeroid lost a point with a Bio Rifle suicide at 9:27. Yet Jano was undermining his own comeback too, blowing himself up with rockets again at 9:53 and 10:06. In a race to 30, five total suicides were extremely costly, even with relentless pressure on the leader.
At 10:20 hemeroid delivered the longest recorded hit, using Bio Rifle to kill greg417 at 38.8 metres. More Bio Rifle kills carried him to 28 and 29 at 11:01 and 11:09. Jano reached 24 by shooting Veteran at 11:44, while greg417 landed a Shock Combo on Veteran at 12:01. Then, at 12:02, hemeroid killed Jano with a Stinger from 15 metres. The final was 30–24: fittingly, a match ruled by rockets ended with a different weapon.
