hemeroid rules Terminal with rockets until the final hit
The lead never changed, yet Terminal managed barely twelve seconds of peace.
Twelve minutes and eight seconds on DM-1on1-Terminal, four rivals, a target of 30 points, and one question: could anybody stop hemeroid? UT3.sk’s Normal Deathmatch offered no cautious warm-up. The first elimination arrived at 12 seconds, fittingly courtesy of a Rocket Launcher. hemeroid struck Ostrelovac for First Blood. One second later, Jano blasted hemeroid, only to record a rocket-related death of his own at that same timestamp. There was a leader from the opening exchanges, but no shortage of traffic behind him. Everyone was armed, everyone could strike back, and most encounters happened too close for comfortable negotiations.
Opening ninety seconds: rockets set the rules
At 28 seconds hemeroid already had three points, while Jano was still accelerating. Jano answered directly, eliminating the leader with rockets at 29 and 39 seconds. Doskok entered the action with the Link Gun; Ostrelovac kept finding himself at the receiving end of rockets. The opening minute closed with hemeroid on four and Jano on three, an early warning that the terminal would not be quiet.
At 80 seconds Ostrelovac picked off hemeroid with a Sniper Rifle from 19.3 metres, but Jano promptly eliminated Ostrelovac. hemeroid replied against Jano at 91 seconds. Then, at 104 seconds, Ostrelovac scored a 25.5-metre Shock Combo against Jano: the arsenal was proving broader than the rocket count suggested.
Five in a row, and Doskok puts out the fire
The third minute produced 13 kills, tied for the busiest stretch according to the minute-by-minute figures. At 140 seconds Doskok eliminated Ostrelovac with the Link Gun and one second later hit hemeroid with the Flak Cannon to complete a Double Kill. Yet that same 141st second also started hemeroid’s own run. He caught Doskok, Jano, Doskok again, Jano again, and finally Ostrelovac at 163 seconds. The fifth kill gave him a Double Kill announcement and 13 points.
The longest streak comprised five eliminations and is recorded between seconds 141 and 175. Doskok ended it at 175 seconds with a Flak Cannon blast from 2.1 metres. The irony was unavoidable: the opponent most capable of stopping the leader was also making it harder for the other challengers to catch him.
Mid-match: the leaderboard holds, weapons rotate
At 234 seconds hemeroid suffered a self-inflicted rocket death but also eliminated Doskok at the same timestamp. Jano then lost ground through rocket self-kills at 237 and 258 seconds. At 314 seconds Doskok followed two Sniper Rifle eliminations with a crushing death. The longest gap without a recorded kill followed: 22 seconds. For a brief moment the scoreboard rested, though nobody had called a ceasefire.
Ostrelovac then surged, eliminating hemeroid, Doskok, and Jano at 342, 348, and 351 seconds; the last of those registered as a Double Kill. He struck Jano and hemeroid with the Link Gun at 410 and 411 seconds, another double. None of it changed the identity of the leader: hemeroid stayed ahead from First Blood, with zero lead changes recorded.
The deciding spell: Flak Cannon finds another gear
At 446 seconds hemeroid eliminated Jano to reach 20 points. Jano kept gathering kills, but hemeroid stopped him with a Flak Cannon at 478 seconds and added a rocket kill on Ostrelovac four seconds later. The decisive sequence came between 522 and 529 seconds: Ostrelovac, Doskok, and Jano all fell to hemeroid’s Flak Cannon. The second shot counted as a Double Kill, and the third as a Multi Kill.
Across those seven seconds hemeroid climbed from 23 to 26 points. Jano had reached 19 with his own elimination at 522 seconds, but afterward the deficit was seven points. Even without a change in first place, this burst distinguished a race for the win from a race against the clock.
The final minute: Jano presses, hemeroid closes
Jano refused to fade. He eliminated hemeroid at 581 and 613 seconds and added Doskok at 622, reaching 23 points from 21. More rockets against Doskok and Ostrelovac at 654 and 660 brought Jano to 25. Meanwhile hemeroid had removed Doskok twice to reach 28, then sent Jano down at 671 seconds: 29–25. The chase was real, but the finish line remained closer for the leader.
Ostrelovac made one last statement with a Double Kill against Doskok and Jano at 720 and 721 seconds. hemeroid delivered the final word at 727, hitting Ostrelovac with a Rocket Launcher from 18.6 metres. The score froze at 30–25–23–21, with a symbolic second remaining on the clock.
