Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: hemeroid (85 dmg) · airborne kills: 40 · gutsiest kill: Jano (6 HP)
Match verdict: hemeroid won 30–25 over Jano by overturning Firstblood’s 24–22 lead at 717 seconds and stretching to 28 at 820. Better survival, half as many suicides as Jano, and twelve Bio Rifle kills created the decisive advantage.
Humans vs bots
The war of the camps: how many kills fell between humans and bots in each direction. Reveals who really won the war of species. best human hemeroid (33 kills) vs best bot Firstblood (25 kills).
MVP honours go to hemeroid for 30 points, 33 kills and a four-kill spree stopped by Firstblood. Firstblood claims the top Multi Kill, Jano the damage award, and Zabijak shares the immediate-revenge crown with Firstblood at eleven each; perhaps engrave the trophies in reinforced steel.
Devastation erupts as hemeroid survives rocket mayhem
Seven changes at the top, one stubborn Bio Rifle, and a finale that left the rockets speechless.
On October 25, 2026, four contenders entered DM-1on1-Devastation for a Normal Deathmatch with a straightforward target: reach 30 points before everybody else. Straightforward was not how the next 959 seconds felt. The lead changed hands seven times, each competitor found a moment to make life thoroughly unpleasant for the others, and an apparently comfortable advantage repeatedly came under attack. hemeroid eventually won with 30 points, ahead of Jano on 25, Firstblood on 24 and Zabijak on 21. The ranking tells you who finished where, not how strange the journey became. Rockets were dangerous to their owners as well as their targets, Flak Cannon punished close encounters, and Bio Rifle ultimately provided the winner’s signature.
Seven seconds to draw blood
Firstblood made the opening statement at exactly seven seconds: a Flak Cannon kill on Zabijak from just 3.6 metres. For once, the player name was a perfectly reliable preview of the scoreboard. One second later Jano hit Firstblood with a rocket, refusing to let the first celebration last. hemeroid chose a more awkward entrance: a self-inflicted Rocket Launcher death at 13 seconds put him on minus one. Starting a race by walking backwards is seldom recommended, yet this particular runner would still cross the line first.
Zabijak led 3–2 over Jano by the end of the first minute and reached four points at 89 seconds. Then Firstblood delivered the first breathtaking combination: kills at 180, 182 and 184 seconds with Stinger, Flak Cannon and Stinger. The second registered as a Double Kill, the third as a Multi Kill, and Firstblood reached six points. It was a fierce warning, but not an insurance policy against the counterattacks waiting around the next corner.
Fourth-minute fireworks
The fourth minute, seconds 180 through 239, produced a match-high 12 kills. At 202 and 208 seconds, hemeroid took out Firstblood twice, first using Link Gun and then Rocket Launcher, bringing his score level at six. Firstblood answered in the 224th second with a Sniper Rifle headshot against hemeroid at 38 metres. Two seconds later Zabijak eliminated Firstblood with Flak Cannon from a mere 0.8 metres. That sequence provided the complete distance menu: long-range precision followed by a very personal introduction.
The bigger turning point arrived at 244 seconds. hemeroid eliminated Jano and Zabijak in the same second with Enforcer, earning a Double Kill. He was up to ten points at 258 seconds and twelve at 271. His Bio Rifle had become a genuine problem for the field, while Jano increasingly leaned on rockets to keep pace. After five minutes hemeroid stood on 13 and Jano on nine. What looked like an emerging hierarchy was misleading: the fiercest chase was still ahead.
An interrupted spree and Firstblood returns
Between 372 and 450 seconds, hemeroid assembled the match’s longest spree: four kills without dying. He dropped Jano three times and also disposed of Zabijak during that stretch. Firstblood finally stopped the run at 450 seconds with Bio Rifle, borrowing the eventual winner’s favoured weapon to deliver the interruption. There was room for a little irony amid all the projectiles. hemeroid already had 19 points by 474 seconds, but a safe route to 30 was not on offer.
At 576 seconds Firstblood struck with Flak Cannon to tie hemeroid at 20–20. Jano promptly scored at 598, 607 and 613 seconds, defeating Zabijak, Firstblood and Zabijak again. Firstblood remained undeterred: by 717 seconds he was on 24 points to hemeroid’s 22 and held the outright lead. That was a proper comeback, not merely a decorative wiggle on the score chart. Meanwhile Zabijak kept returning fire, with Stinger hits and immediate revenge kills ensuring nobody could treat him as background scenery.
The longest shot, then the last word
hemeroid responded in style at 719 seconds, killing Zabijak from 44.3 metres with Bio Rifle, the longest successful shot of the match. He tied Firstblood at 24 at 745 seconds, promptly lost a point to another self-inflicted rocket explosion, and refused to panic. Bio Rifle kills against Zabijak at 769 and 774 seconds lifted him to 25, clear of Firstblood on 24. Two Rocket Launcher kills against Zabijak at 815 and 820 sent the leader to 28. The gap now had substance rather than just promise.
At 856 seconds hemeroid killed Jano with Sniper Rifle to reach 29. A remarkable 61-second gap followed between kills at 879 and 940; Jano still managed a rocket suicide at 934, so silence was relative. Jano then scored twice and climbed to 25, with Firstblood at 24. The decisive event arrived at 958 seconds: hemeroid eliminated Jano with Bio Rifle for his 30th point. The finish came one second before the recorded duration ended. After 959 seconds, the scoreboard finally ran out of excuses to change its mind.

In the end, Devastation rewarded the competitor who converted more opportunities into points while surviving his own decisions more often. hemeroid registered 33 kills and three suicides to finish on precisely 30. Jano dealt a match-leading 5,307 damage but six rocket suicides dragged his score back to 25. Firstblood owned the highest-level Multi Kill, while Zabijak claimed eleven immediate revenge kills. The winner’s average life lasted 50 seconds, compared with Jano’s 23. That is not immortality or a miracle. It is the useful habit of staying alive long enough to make the next weapon pickup, the next contested fight and, finally, the very last shot matter.
