Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Rikoset (106 dmg) · airborne kills: 40 · gutsiest kill: Jano (2 HP)
Match verdict: hemeroid won 30–20 because he turned an even contest near 14–14 into a six-kill burst between seconds 443 and 465. Switching between Sniper Rifle, Flak Cannon and rockets preserved his finishing power, while Jano’s self-kills and weaker late response made the gap unbridgeable.

MVP goes to hemeroid for thirty points and a six-kill run, interrupted by Nabeh. Jano earns the comeback spirit award for six immediate revenges, while Kemper claims the longest-range kill at 30.1 metres and hemeroid owns the sole headshot.
hemeroid breaks Korumi open with six-kill final surge
Five changes at the top, a single headshot and a finale where rockets refused to negotiate.
Six contenders entered DM-1on1-Korumi on October 25, 2026, for a Normal Deathmatch lasting nine minutes and thirty-nine seconds. The target was thirty points, but there was nothing straightforward about reaching it. hemeroid drew first blood against Jano, then promptly blew himself up with his own rocket. Jano seized the early initiative, while Kemper and Rikoset kept interfering with the leading pair. Later Nabeh and Krallbait made their own entrances on the kill log. With five lead changes, the story was never going to be about one lucky projectile; it would be about recovering from mistakes faster than the opposition.
First blood, first rocket, first self-inflicted disaster
At three seconds, hemeroid landed the first Rocket Launcher hit on Jano from just 1.3 metres. One second later another rocket killed hemeroid himself. Jano answered with three swift kills, taking down Rikoset at 13 seconds, Kemper at 23 and hemeroid at 26. The third earned a Double Kill notification and put Jano at 3–0, a very convincing answer to his opponent’s opening flourish.
Kemper intervened with a Shock Combo against Jano at 31 seconds, and Rikoset used the same technique against Kemper five seconds later. At 69 seconds, Kemper produced the longest recorded kill: a Stinger hit on Jano from 30.1 metres. By 92 seconds he had caught Jano at 3–3. Meanwhile hemeroid collected Bio Rifle kills against Kemper, and Rikoset tested both rockets and his own appetite for risk. The first minute delivered seven enemy eliminations, not a colossal number, yet already enough incidents to make any prediction suspect.
Jano takes the lead and a twenty-four-second silence arrives
In the following minutes, Flak Cannon and Link Gun joined the conversation. hemeroid tied Jano at 5–5 with a Bio Rifle kill at 177 seconds. Jano dispatched hemeroid with Flak Cannon at both 194 and 204 seconds. When he rocketed Rikoset at 240 seconds, the scoreboard showed Jano ahead of hemeroid, 10–9.
The lead came with a warning label. At 254 seconds, hemeroid tagged him with Bio Rifle and moved ahead 10–9. Rikoset then eliminated hemeroid at 261 seconds, followed by the match’s longest gap without a kill: exactly twenty-four seconds. The silence ended at 285 seconds when hemeroid hit Jano with Flak Cannon. On this server, that counted as the closest thing to a commercial break.
An unsettled middle and six kills that changed everything
Kemper still had a claim to the spotlight. At 305 seconds he rocketed Jano in a Double Kill sequence and reached ten points. Jano rose to fourteen at 342 seconds; hemeroid reached fourteen at 346; and Jano restored a 14–14 tie at 371 seconds. With five lead changes across the match, nobody could mistake the middle period for a ceremonial procession toward the finish.
Nabeh appeared on the kill log at 396 seconds by eliminating hemeroid. The leader responded with Shock Rifle against Kemper at 401 seconds and Sniper Rifle against Jano at 417, only to blow himself up again at 438. Then the crucial sequence began. At 443 seconds, hemeroid headshot Jano with Sniper Rifle, the match’s only headshot. At 447 he used Flak Cannon to dispatch both Rikoset and Jano, with the second registered as a Double Kill. Flak took down Nabeh at 455 and Jano at 461. One last rocket against Jano at 465 completed six consecutive kills without dying.
Nabeh ends the streak, not the race to thirty
Nabeh finally interrupted that six-kill run with Link Gun at 470 seconds. It was no token gesture: he repeatedly removed hemeroid in the closing minutes, including a Shock Combo at 493 seconds. Even after the celebrated streak ended, there was no shortage of work for the respawn system.
hemeroid, however, had more ways to score. He sniped Kemper at 486 seconds, then rocketed Rikoset and Kemper at 500 seconds for another Double Kill. Jano answered with kills against Krallbait at 516 and Rikoset at 527, but hemeroid shot Jano with Bio Rifle at 529. Further rockets against Jano at 544 and 557 took the leader to twenty-eight; Nabeh fell at 561 for point twenty-nine. At 579 seconds, Bio Rifle settled the matter against Kemper. The final order: hemeroid on thirty, Jano on twenty, with the rest chasing a finish that had already accelerated out of reach.

The scoreboard is unambiguous: hemeroid 30, Jano 20, Kemper 15, Nabeh 10, Rikoset 9 and Krallbait 8. Yet it cannot show every twist. Jano recorded six immediate revenge kills, more than anyone, and still finished ten points behind. Nabeh removed the eventual winner five times and stopped his longest streak despite playing just 195 seconds. The winner combined a broad weapon selection with a decisive late run, while surviving four self-inflicted deaths of his own. Korumi did not crown the player who made no mistakes; it rewarded the one who found an answer after making them. His average kill distance was 13.6 metres against Jano’s 8.0 metres, while their average lifetimes were 25 and 17 seconds respectively.
