Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Jano (95 dmg) · airborne kills: 30 · gutsiest kill: Doskok (2 HP)
Match verdict: Jano won 30–27 because he converted more late close- and medium-range chances after the 26–26 tie. His 28 rocket kills and superior item collection offset four self-inflicted deaths, while hemeroid’s range and survival advantage did not translate into the last three points.

Jano turns rocket chaos into a Devastation triumph!
Four self-inflicted rocket deaths, six lead changes and a victory settled on the final kill.
DM-1on1-Devastation was no quiet chessboard on October 23, 2026. This Normal Deathmatch on UT3.SK lasted 738 seconds, featured five names on the score sheet and ended at the thirty-point target. Jano won 30–27 over hemeroid, but the score hides the story: the lead changed six times, and the eventual champion had already blown himself up with his own rockets twice in the first 35 seconds. Doskok, Masakr and late arrival RoCCat were not spectators. Their kills repeatedly shaped the title race, turning a simple three-point margin into a chaotic contest of timing, range and recovery.
First blood belongs to Masakr
After just six seconds, Masakr struck Doskok with the Flak Cannon for first blood. Doskok answered with the Link Gun at 15 seconds and settled another exchange at 22. Meanwhile, Jano blew himself up with a Rocket Launcher at 12 seconds, then repeated the mistake at 35. Masakr reached three points early; hemeroid did not register his first until 54 seconds. Those two different starts would soon produce completely different momentum.
From 54 to 89 seconds, hemeroid recorded a five-kill streak, with Double Kills marked at 71 and 86 seconds. Jano stopped the run with a rocket at 89. The second minute was the busiest of the match, featuring eleven kills in all. Yet hemeroid kept scoring: by 110 seconds he had eight points to Jano’s two. At that moment a bet on the eventual winner would have demanded exceptionally steady nerves.
Climbing out of the deficit
The match’s longest quiet spell followed the kill at 120 seconds: a 25-second pause until Jano scored at 145. His hits on Masakr and Doskok began a gradual return, even while hemeroid protected a 12–8 lead at 246 seconds. Rather than abandon his trademark rockets, Jano relied on them more effectively, collecting points in compact bursts whenever an opponent came within reach.
Between 282 and 326 seconds, Jano killed hemeroid, Masakr, hemeroid again, Masakr again and then hemeroid once more. At 326 seconds the race had flipped to 14–13 for Jano. hemeroid answered with a Shock Rifle kill at 334 to tie it at fourteen. Masakr then reminded everyone the duel was not fought in isolation: Sniper Rifle kills at 343, 361 and 363 seconds, the last marked as a Double Kill, punished both front-runners. It was no longer a one-weapon, two-player contest.
An equalizer and an own goal
Jano reached fifteen at 386 seconds, but another self-inflicted rocket death followed just three seconds later. hemeroid defeated him at 395 to take a 15–14 lead. Jano replied with the Flak Cannon at 404, followed by further Rocket Launcher kills that carried him to eighteen. At 464 seconds the log records an especially strange combination: Jano killed hemeroid with a rocket and was himself listed as a victim of his own rocket in the same second. Even the scoreboard appeared to have no time for a breather.
The longest kill was hemeroid’s rocket hit on Masakr at 517 seconds from 45.5 meters. At 534, 539 and 540 seconds he added three Shock Rifle kills, the last against Jano counting as a Double Kill. He led 21–19 at that stage and his average kill distance, 18.7 meters, dwarfed Jano’s 10.2. Still, both stood at 22 by 575 seconds and 23 by 598. With two minutes left, nobody could safely predict who would reach thirty first.
The closing burst decides it
At 627 seconds Jano killed hemeroid to lead 24–23. Four seconds later he eliminated Doskok for a Double Kill and made it 25. hemeroid answered with a Bio Rifle kill on Jano and a rocket kill on Masakr; his hit on Doskok at 670 seconds tied the leaders at 26–26. Jano immediately found the most valuable target, taking down hemeroid at 679 for 27–26. Doskok responded by hitting both rivals with his Stinger. The outcome was still vulnerable to interference.
RoCCat, whose total playing time was only 91 seconds, finally entered the scoring at 702 by killing Doskok. Jano hit RoCCat with the Flak Cannon at 704; hemeroid took the same victim with a rocket at 713; Doskok killed Jano at 717. The last two blows belonged to Jano: a Stinger kill on RoCCat at 731 and a Flak Cannon kill on the same opponent at 737. That thirtieth point sealed 30–27. No headshot was recorded, just an exact sequence of kills deciding an extraordinary finish.
