Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Jano (98 dmg) · airborne kills: 31 · gutsiest kill: Longshot (3 HP)
Match verdict: hemeroid won the Deathmatch on DM-1on1-Pure-Pro by 30–20–18–15 over Liandrik, Jano and Longshot. His seven-kill streak from 432 to 513 seconds, 22 Rocket Launcher kills and 21 item pickups created an advantage the opponents could only delay, not reverse. Late pressure extended the finish without changing the winner.

MVP goes to hemeroid for 30 points, a seven-kill streak, three Double Kills and 14 immediate revenge kills. Longshot earns first-blood and longest-hit honours; Jano gets the streak-breaker award; Liandrik receives credit for second place and persistence. The Rocket Launcher may need extra trophy-shelf space.
hemeroid Rockets Clear on Pure-Pro, Survives the Finish
The rockets set the pace, but the last point refused to arrive on schedule.
DM-1on1-Pure-Pro hosted a Normal Deathmatch with four competitors, a target score of 30, and 764 seconds to provide the answer. hemeroid, Liandrik, Jano and Longshot turned that straightforward assignment into a score race with an early surprise, an extended run of precision rocket work and a final point that took nearly two and a half minutes to materialize. The table eventually read 30, 20, 18 and 15. That may sound comfortable for the winner, but the log tells a livelier story: one official lead change, five Double Kills, repeated reprisals and an impressive refusal by the opposition to concede an easy ending.
First blood by a thread
Longshot drew first blood after just 11 seconds, eliminating Jano with a Link Gun at only 1.2 metres. The detail that makes the scene memorable is his remaining three health points. hemeroid answered nine seconds later with a Sniper Rifle shot against Longshot, yet the opening argument was far from settled. At 54 seconds Longshot hit hemeroid with a Rocket Launcher from 33 metres, the longest successful hit of the entire match. Despite the weapon, that was still well below the 50-metre distance generally considered sniping range.
At 57 seconds Longshot eliminated Jano again, registering the first Double Kill and reaching three points. Jano had opened his account against Liandrik at 52 seconds, and Liandrik replied with a Sniper Rifle hit against Jano at 62. Curiously, the quietest interval was the 32 seconds between the kills at 20 and 52 seconds. Once the pause ended, no one could reasonably accuse the four players of having scheduled a peaceful evening.
The lead moves; the rockets stay
hemeroid hit Jano with rockets at 74 and 86 seconds, drawing level with the early pace. Liandrik interrupted at 93 with a Shock Combo against hemeroid, then hit Jano with the Shock Rifle at 100. The following sequence was quick: hemeroid eliminated Liandrik with a Link Gun at 102 to reach four, Longshot tied four at 106, and hemeroid struck Jano at 114 to reach five. Across the entire contest the official statistic records only one lead change, despite several tight early exchanges.
Liandrik found a rhythm in the third minute, taking down Jano at 154, 163 and 176 seconds before eliminating Longshot at 190. hemeroid maintained a narrow advantage, but he also lost a point through a Shock Rifle suicide at 217 seconds. Jano would record two Rocket Launcher suicides, and Longshot two self-eliminations of his own. Five such incidents help explain why the final scores differ from raw kill totals. Rockets are wonderfully effective until their owner becomes the nearest target.
Jano closes, then a seven-kill escape
hemeroid switched to the Stinger for kills at 252 and 254 seconds against Liandrik and Jano, collecting a Double Kill and reaching ten. Jano kept trading shots, especially with Liandrik, and at 429 seconds chained Rocket Launcher kills against Liandrik and Longshot into his own Double Kill. At that stage hemeroid led with 14 points while Liandrik and Jano each had 12; Longshot had six. The chasing pack had reason to hope. Then hemeroid killed Jano with the Enforcer at 432 seconds, starting the decisive uninterrupted sequence.
Longshot fell at 437 and 448 seconds. Jano followed at 475, 489 and 497, and Liandrik at 513. Seven straight kills in 81 seconds lifted hemeroid to 21 and transformed a narrow margin into something substantial. Jano finally ended the streak at 515 seconds with a Rocket Launcher. The underlying numbers support the same picture: hemeroid collected 21 items, more than twice Liandrik’s ten, while his average life lasted 42 seconds against Jano’s 23. Sustained survival mattered as much as spectacular shooting.
The last point develops stage fright
At 583 seconds hemeroid rocketed Liandrik and Longshot in a Double Kill, and at 607 repeated the trick against Liandrik and Jano. A Stinger elimination of Longshot at 618 brought him to 29 points. The tenth minute was the busiest with ten kills; the complete per-minute counts were 5, 8, 5, 6, 7, 8, 5, 9, 5, 10, 7, 7 and 6. It seemed that the last rocket might land immediately. Instead the finish line moved from a sprint to an obstacle course.
Longshot eliminated hemeroid at 646, 668, 695 and 747 seconds, using the Shock Rifle twice, Sniper Rifle once and Flak Cannon once. Liandrik reached 20 at 711, while Jano advanced to 18 through late rocket hits. Longshot killed Jano at 758 but lost a point through a Flak Cannon suicide at 760. Finally, at exactly 764 seconds, hemeroid eliminated Liandrik with the Rocket Launcher to reach 30. The leader had spent 146 seconds waiting for that single point. Nobody could accuse the supporting cast of making the curtain call easy.

The result was hemeroid 30, Liandrik 20, Jano 18 and Longshot 15. Behind those numbers lay 31 kills and one suicide for the champion, 4,772 damage dealt and 14 immediate revenge kills according to the computed summary. Liandrik finished second with steady close-range attacks, Jano kept the rocket exchanges fierce and Longshot owned three distinctive moments: first blood, the longest shot and the late campaign against the leader. Nobody scored a headshot. Yet the contest never lacked precision, risk or comic timing. The last point was delayed for so long that it practically deserved its own chapter, which, as it happens, it just received.
