Longer survival and 19 immediate revenge kills preserved pressure without surrendering the lead; he officially won 31:12 over freedie00, with Zerker on 10.

MVP goes to Vulgarus for the win, the eight-kill spree and 19 immediate revenge kills. freedie00 earns loudest entrance for his Redeemer Double Kill, while Zerker takes longest shot and the honour of ending the leader's decisive streak.

Vulgarus Rules DM-Deck after an Eight-Kill Rampage

DM-Deck delivered 15 minutes and 20 seconds of classic Deathmatch in which almost every available weapon found a victim, yet the identity of the leader was settled unusually early. Zerker opened with Bio Rifle suicides at 0:07 and 0:55, so the authoritative first blood arrived only at 0:59, when Vulgarus hit Liandrik with the Shock Rifle from 20 metres. From that moment he never gave up first place. The match recorded zero lead changes, but it was not uncontested: freedie00 brought rockets and the Redeemer, Zerker answered with stubborn Link Gun pressure, and both produced bursts that forced the leader to keep working.

First blood after a silent minute

The longest pause lasted 59 seconds and came immediately after the start. It was not peaceful positioning: Zerker twice deducted a point from his own total with the Bio Rifle and fell to minus two. Vulgarus then took first blood on Liandrik at 0:59. Zerker answered with the Link Gun at 1:18 and tied Vulgarus at one point after another kill at 1:54, but the official lead never changed hands.

From 2:01 to 3:24, Vulgarus made the first major break. Two Sniper Rifle hits on Zerker, a Shock Combo on freedie00 and further precise shots lifted him from one to eight without dying. By alternating the Sniper Rifle and Shock Rifle, he made every open lane and every tight corner equally uncomfortable. DM-Deck was not finished, but the scoreboard already had a clear owner.

The Redeemer interrupts the monologue

At 3:45, freedie00 announced himself in the loudest possible way. One Redeemer caught both Vulgarus and Zerker, with the second frag registered as a Double Kill. He followed with a Rocket Launcher kill on Vulgarus at 4:09 and another on Zerker at 4:17. Vulgarus ended that four-kill spree with a rocket at 4:35, but the match had finally received an explosion in both the literal and competitive sense.

The middle phase became a chain of close-range trades. Vulgarus reached ten, freedie00 held five, and Zerker produced a Rocket Launcher Double Kill at 5:14 and 5:16 against freedie00 and Vulgarus. He added another frag eight seconds later, before Vulgarus stopped him with the Shock Rifle. Flak, Link Gun and rockets kept the traffic heavy, but the order remained unchanged: the challengers were fighting to slow the leader, not replace him.

Shock, rockets and green slime

After Zerker fell into slime at 6:46, Vulgarus struck three times in twelve seconds. A Shock Combo on freedie00 was followed by two Sniper Rifle kills on Zerker; the second was both a headshot and a Double Kill. The score moved to 14:7:5. freedie00 stayed visible with Bio Rifle and Rocket Launcher kills, reaching nine, while Vulgarus answered against both opponents and reached seventeen by 8:30.

The phase highlighted contrasting ranges. freedie00 averaged 19.9 metres per kill, the longest of the main trio, while Zerker averaged 16 and Vulgarus only 13.1, matching his willingness to close for Shock Combos. The longest single kill belonged to Zerker: at 2:46 he hit freedie00 with the Bio Rifle from 47.5 metres, just below the 50-metre sniper benchmark.

Eight kills that closed the Deck

The decisive sequence began at 10:59. Vulgarus hit freedie00 with the Shock Rifle, Zerker with a rocket seven seconds later, and then headshot freedie00 with the Sniper Rifle at 11:20. Two more kills on Zerker, a Shock Combo on freedie00, another Shock Rifle kill and a final rocket produced eight consecutive frags by 12:41. His score climbed from 18 to 26 and a comfortable advantage became a verdict.

Zerker ended the spree with a Redeemer at 13:10, but the gap was irreversible. Vulgarus added a rocket and Shock Combo on Zerker; Zerker replied with two late Sniper Rifle kills on Vulgarus and freedie00. Vulgarus reached 29 with the Flak Cannon, freedie00 moved to 12 at 15:17, and the last logged frag came two seconds later when Vulgarus Shock-Comboed freedie00 for a logged 30:12. The official export table nevertheless records a final 31:12:10.

Player verdicts
  • LV Vulgarus — A complete performance: 31 points, 5,022 damage dealt, two headshots and a 60-second average life. His best work came from combining the Shock Rifle, Shock Combo and timely switches to the Sniper Rifle.
  • GB freedie00 — Second place was built on rockets and three Redeemer kills, including the match's loudest Double Kill. One Redeemer suicide and 17 deaths prevented a serious late challenge.
  • B Zerker — He recovered from two early suicides to score 10, add a rocket Double Kill and claim the longest shot. Three suicides and 28 deaths were too expensive for his aggressive approach.
  • B Liandrik — A short appearance produced two deaths and no score; he was the first-blood victim and later fell to Zerker's rocket. One hundred seconds were not enough to build a sequence.
  • B Prestrelka — He left early on minus one after a suicide from an unknown cause. One assist showed brief involvement, but the 22-second appearance never became a frag.

    Who killed with what

Each player's kills split by weapon. Reveals every fighter's favorite tool.

The Rocket Launcher led the match with 17 kills, followed by the Sniper Rifle with nine and Shock Combo with eight. Vulgarus owned all eight Shock Combos and both headshots; freedie00 scored seven rocket kills and three Redeemers, while Zerker relied mainly on Link Gun and rockets.

Vulgarus actively controlled the central lanes and willingly closed distance for Shock Combos and rockets. When the opponents used the Redeemer or longer angles, he switched to the Sniper Rifle and then returned to tight spaces. freedie00 preferred wider engagement windows, while Zerker pushed with Link Gun and rockets but paid for risky entries with slime and self-damage. Vulgarus won the positional battle by changing weapons without giving away initiative.
