Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Zabijak (110 dmg) · airborne kills: 36 · gutsiest kill: Spawnfrag (1 HP)
Match verdict: Vulgarus won 30–17 because his nine-kill run between 5:05 and 6:47 turned an early deficit into a durable lead. Rocket Launcher kills, repeated Shock Combos and steady scoring kept Hlavicka and Odstrel from exploiting the late surge.

MVP Vulgarus earned thirty points, the nine-kill streak and five swift revenges. First blood went to freedie00, the long-range curiosity prize to Presnak and the streak-stopper’s medal to Stingray.
Vulgarus Takes Arsenal After a Brutal Rocket Start
The first rocket belonged to a rival; the final point belonged to Vulgarus.
On 3 August 2026, DM-Arsenal hosted a Normal Deathmatch on UT3.sk that lasted twelve minutes and ten seconds, with eleven competitors appearing in the records. The race was to thirty points, and Vulgarus eventually won it decisively. Yet the first chapter belonged to freedie00. Only twenty seconds into the contest, he hit Vulgarus with a Rocket Launcher from 4.9 metres to claim first blood. At fifty-six seconds, he repeated the trick against the same opponent. Two quick rocket deaths were hardly the start a future champion might choose, but the scoreboard at the finish would show just how misleading the opening can be. What followed was not a lucky escape: Vulgarus steadily changed the balance with flexible weapons, sustained pressure and one extraordinary streak.
First blood, then an eerie pause
The opening was personal. freedie00 took the first point at 0:20; Jumpboots answered by killing freedie00 with a Link Gun at 0:27, surviving with just fifteen health. Vulgarus joined the scoresheet at 0:35 with a Shock Combo against Jumpboots. Then, at 0:56, freedie00 put another rocket into Vulgarus to make his own score two against the future winner’s one. Neither player yet looked untouchable, and the early skirmishes suggested that any advantage could evaporate in seconds.
Instead, the longest quiet spell of the match arrived: forty-four seconds after that rocket kill, until Hlavicka struck Jumpboots at 1:40. There were four kills in the opening minute and only one in the second. Not every lost point even required an opponent. Jumpboots eliminated himself with the Bio Rifle at 1:53; freedie00 followed with a self-inflicted Rocket Launcher death at 2:03. The arena supplied its own warnings about reckless explosives, and the early leader had already surrendered one precious point.
The lead changes hands for good
Vulgarus built the comeback rather than announcing it with one spectacular shot. He removed Jumpboots at 2:17, hit Hlavicka with a Stinger at 2:48 and returned the rocket favour to freedie00 at 3:09. By then he had four points against freedie00’s two. The match data records exactly one lead change, and once Vulgarus moved ahead the lead did not change again. He stood on eight points at 4:54 and reached ten at 5:27 with a Shock Combo kill on Odstrel. Those apparently routine additions laid the foundation for the decisive burst.
Between 5:05 and 6:47, Vulgarus put together nine consecutive kills without dying. Stingray, Odstrel, Presnak, freedie00, Jumpboots, Zabijak and Hlavicka all figured among his victims. Shock Combos opened the run, while rockets and the Sniper Rifle extended it. At 6:29 he headshot Hlavicka from 32 metres, lifting his score to seventeen. The weapons changed, but the pattern did not: Vulgarus found another target, secured another point and forced everyone else to chase. One streak became the hinge on which the entire match turned.
Twenty kills in a minute and a strange long shot
Stingray finally halted the nine-kill streak at 6:47, landing a Shock Combo from 27.9 metres. That earned him a genuine moment of glory but did not spark a leaderboard reversal. The eighth playing minute, from 7:00 to 7:59, produced twenty kills, the match’s busiest sixty-second interval. Spawnfrag contributed five eliminations in that period, Odstrel four and Jumpboots three. At 7:18 Jumpboots completed a Double Kill against freedie00, one of several multikill moments scattered through the chaos. Even while other players dominated isolated exchanges, Vulgarus had already created a large cushion.
The oddest long-range hit arrived at 8:34. Presnak killed Jumpboots with a Bio Rifle from 50.9 metres, the longest recorded shot and just beyond the fifty-metre benchmark for sniper-like distance. It was not made with a Sniper Rifle, which only improves the story. The log contains distances but no kill coordinates, so it cannot prove which corridor or platform hosted the encounter. Its averages do show two very different styles: Odstrel averaged 6.3 metres per kill, while Stingray averaged 17.6 metres. On DM-Arsenal, the same scoreboard was built by fighters working at radically different ranges.
A finish no one could steal
At 7:57 Vulgarus reached twenty points by killing Stingray with a Shock Rifle. He advanced to twenty-four by 8:49 and landed his second headshot at 9:54, hitting Zabijak with a Sniper Rifle to reach twenty-six. The opposition kept working. Odstrel climbed toward fifteen points with close-range aggression, Hlavicka kept contesting fights with a Link Gun, and Ironguard delivered ten kills against only four deaths in 281 seconds of play. The late match was competitive in its individual duels, even when the overall result looked secure.
The eleventh playing minute yielded eighteen kills and the twelfth thirteen, so the finale was not a quiet procession. At 11:22 Vulgarus took his twenty-eighth point with a Shock Combo against Jumpboots; at 11:42 he Stingered Hlavicka for number twenty-nine. Zabijak managed to kill him with a Stinger at 11:55 from 32.4 metres. At 12:02, Odstrel and Hlavicka exchanged kills as the runner-up places solidified. The final entry arrived exactly at 12:10: Vulgarus killed Zabijak with a Rocket Launcher from 4.2 metres, completing thirty points. It was a fittingly explosive answer to the first rocket fired at him.

The scoreboard closed with Vulgarus on thirty, Hlavicka on seventeen and Odstrel on fifteen. The winner posted thirty kills, fourteen deaths, two headshots, ten assists and five immediate revenge kills. His average lifetime was forty-eight seconds; Ironguard, on fifty-six, did even better in that particular measure. freedie00 retained the honour of first blood, Presnak the most improbable long-range elimination and Stingray the satisfaction of ending the nine-kill rampage. Everyone took a scene from DM-Arsenal, but Vulgarus owned the whole performance. Two early rocket deaths were transformed into a thirteen-point victory through the simplest, hardest skill in Deathmatch: scoring consistently when everyone else is firing back.
