Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Jano (98 dmg) · airborne kills: 53 · gutsiest kill: Granatnik (5 HP)
Match verdict: Vulgarus won 30–13 over Jano, Naboj and Shardfall because his early 16-kill streak produced an unassailable lead. Sixteen rocket kills, superior average survival and two final Shock Combos made that advantage decisive.

Vulgarus rules Campgrounds with a brutal 16-kill streak
Jumpboots drew first blood, but Vulgarus ultimately wrote the ending.
On August 3, 2026, DM-Campgrounds-U3-Fix hosted a Normal Deathmatch lasting 16 minutes and 12 seconds. Thirteen competitors featured, and the target was 30 points. At first glance, the final table seems simple: Vulgarus finished with 30, while Jano, Naboj and Shardfall ended on 13 each. The road to that margin, though, was full of uncomfortable interruptions, surprising comebacks and plenty of explosive mistakes. Jano kept testing the leader with rockets, Poskok put together a dangerous burst, and Naboj and Shardfall fought a separate, remarkably intense duel. The decisive story began with someone other than the eventual champion claiming the first kill.
First blood belongs to Jumpboots
At 0:27, Jumpboots struck Vulgarus with a Flak Cannon from nine metres out. The eventual winner was the first casualty, not the opening hero. Just seven seconds later, however, Vulgarus answered with an Enforcer kill on Hlavicka. A full minute without a kill followed before a Shock Combo caught Jumpboots at 1:34. The lead changed only once, and Vulgarus never surrendered it again. Further rocket kills against Jumpboots and another elimination of Hlavicka brought his score to five by 2:41.
The early match was not a constant stream of explosions. The first two minutes contained just two kills and one kill respectively, with the longest pause lasting 60 seconds after 0:34. Once Telefrag, Jano and Naboj began appearing among Vulgarus's victims, however, the pace visibly changed. The leader was already showing a mix of weapons rather than relying on one comfortable route to points.
Sixteen straight, then Walldodge intervenes
Beginning at 0:34, Vulgarus assembled an uninterrupted streak of 16 kills. Rocket Launcher was the main engine, joined by Shock Combo, Shock Rifle and Sniper Rifle. He reached ten points by 4:12 and sixteen by 5:27. He was not farming a single rival: several opponents were caught in the same sustained run. Every fresh encounter seemed to arrive with another chance for the leader to stretch the gap.
At 5:29, Walldodge finally stopped the streak with a 35.5-metre Enforcer kill. It was the kind of interruption that deserves its own highlight clip. Vulgarus remained dominant but was no longer untouchable: Naboj later brought him down with a Stinger. The sixth minute registered 12 kills, a peak matched by the eleventh and thirteenth minutes. What had started cautiously now looked like an arena that had forgotten where the brakes were.
Jano finds the rockets and the danger
Jano's sharpest spell came between 6:23 and 6:30. He eliminated Kombo with a rocket, followed by freedie00 three seconds later, and Naboj four seconds after that. The last strike registered as a level-two Multi Kill. His run showed why the runner-up remained a threat even when the scoreboard was unfriendly. At 7:13, meanwhile, Vulgarus landed the match's only headshot on Granatnik with a Sniper Rifle. It was precise, but it was not the longest-range kill of the evening.
Jano's aggressive style came with a heavy tax. He secured 19 kills yet also recorded six self-inflicted deaths, leaving him with 13 points. Sixteen of his kills came from Rocket Launcher, but the same weapon repeatedly hurt its owner. Vulgarus also paid for mistakes: four self-inflicted deaths meant 34 kills were needed to earn 30 points. The important contrast was survival. Vulgarus averaged 74 seconds per life to Jano's 37 seconds.
The chasing pack fights back
At 8:27 Vulgarus lost a point to his own Shock Rifle, dropping to 22. Other contenders took their chances. From 9:03 to 9:47, Poskok eliminated Granatnik, twice brought down Vulgarus and also caught Jano. His longest run reached five consecutive kills before he eventually left with six. Vulgarus stopped him with a Shock Rifle at 9:49, but the pressure was real. Kombo found success with Stinger, Shardfall with Link Gun, while Strepina mixed weapons and kept collecting points.
The most intense head-to-head contest was not for first place. Naboj and Shardfall traded nine direct kills, with Shardfall winning that exchange 7–2. Both logged four immediate revenge kills in the computed statistics, showing how often they answered blows with blows. They finished level on 13 with Jano, yet none of them could erase the enormous deficit created by Vulgarus's opening streak. Their battle was entertaining, but it took place beneath an already distant leader.
Two Shock Combos seal the result
With the finish approaching, the chasers kept firing. Vulgarus had reached 28 points by 10:46, then lost one to his own Rocket Launcher at 10:55. Naboj, Shardfall and Strepina were especially active late on. At 15:31, Strepina delivered the match's longest confirmed kill: a 39-metre Enforcer shot against Shardfall. Nobody reached the 50-metre threshold, so the distance award was won without a classic sniper-range shot.
At 16:07 a Shock Combo from Vulgarus eliminated Naboj and brought his total to 29. Four seconds later, Shardfall fell to another Shock Combo and the scoreboard clicked to 30. The final margin was 17 points over the three players on 13. It was not a narrow escape or a last-second reversal. The result came from an early lead, consistent weapon versatility, better survival and a finishing sequence with no room for doubt.

Match eight was not a thriller decided on the last shot. It was a lesson in how one early 16-kill spree can reshape an entire leaderboard. Jumpboots had the opening moment, Walldodge broke the longest streak, and Jano proved dangerous when his rockets connected. Naboj and Shardfall held their own furious contest until the closing minutes. Vulgarus, however, combined the highest kill total with a much longer average survival time. By finishing with consecutive Shock Combos, he gave the whole contest a clean signature: plenty of rivals had something to celebrate, but there was no argument about the winner.
