Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Jano (96 dmg) · airborne kills: 21 · gutsiest kill: Vulgarus (3 HP)
Match verdict: Vulgarus defeated hemeroid 30:24 because he built a lead after second 297 and produced the stronger finish following the 20:20 tie. Weapon versatility and fewer self-inflicted point losses than Jano mattered more than any isolated multikill.
Vulgarus takes MVP honours with 30 points, 33 kills and twelve immediate revenge kills. Jano owns the five-kill spree award, hemeroid claims first blood and the longest shot, and all three recorded a Double Kill.
Vulgarus Turns Katami Around and Owns the Final Fight
One lead change, one five-kill rebellion, and the final word from a Flak Cannon.
Fourteen minutes and seven seconds on DM-1on1-Katami turned an ordinary Deathmatch in Normal mode into a test of nerves, rockets and immediate payback. Vulgarus, hemeroid, Jano and Tanchic entered with one objective: reach thirty points, not earn style marks for avoiding self-inflicted damage. hemeroid struck first, Jano produced the longest uninterrupted run, but Vulgarus claimed the final kill and the victory. The final scores of 30:24:20:2 suggest a straightforward affair; the event log tells another story. There was only one outright change of leader, yet several moments when the next shot could have transformed the pursuit into a genuine comeback.
A rocket opens the account
At 18 seconds, hemeroid landed the first blood: a Rocket Launcher kill against Tanchic. At second 39, Jano eliminated Tanchic with the Flak Cannon, but hemeroid killed Jano with the Bio Rifle two seconds later.
Tanchic still left a mark on proceedings. hemeroid nevertheless held the early initiative, reaching 5:4 against Vulgarus at second 121 following an Enforcer kill and moving to six points by second 140. Vulgarus had briefly levelled it at 4:4 at second 114, but had not yet seized first place.
One change of guard after a patient chase
Vulgarus gradually converted his deficit into a contest. Jano demanded attention with a burst at seconds 220, 227 and 232, using rockets to hit hemeroid, Vulgarus and Tanchic. The answer came at seconds 246 and 250: two Flak Cannon kills for Vulgarus, the second completing a Double Kill.
hemeroid regained the edge with a Sniper Rifle kill against Vulgarus at second 257 and later pulled ahead 10:8. The decisive change came at second 297: Vulgarus killed hemeroid with the Flak Cannon to lead 11:10. That was the match’s only change of leader, although the scores would be level again. Link Gun hits at seconds 310 and 324 helped consolidate the advantage, followed by a Shock Combo against Jano at second 364. After the kill at second 418, the action paused for 42 seconds, the longest silence of the match.
Five kills shake up the standings
In the second half Vulgarus led, but peace was nowhere on the scoreboard. hemeroid used the Bio Rifle to kill Jano at second 474 and Vulgarus at 479, while Jano hit Tanchic at second 488. At second 541, hemeroid produced an emphatic Double Kill: two Rocket Launcher kills registered at the same second against Vulgarus and Jano.
The match’s longest streak belonged to Jano. Between seconds 613 and 649 he killed hemeroid, Vulgarus twice, hemeroid again, then Vulgarus once more. Five unanswered kills, including a Double Kill at second 640, pulled his score to eighteen. At second 650, hemeroid stopped the run with the Shock Rifle. Nine seconds later a Bio Rifle kill by hemeroid brought him level with Vulgarus at 20:20. That was serious pressure rather than another lead change: Vulgarus had reached twenty with a Sniper Rifle kill at second 658, and struck Jano at second 671 to regain a one-point edge.
No panic: a finish decided at the buzzer
From 20:20 onward, consistency became everything. A Shock Rifle kill against hemeroid at 754 stretched the lead to 25:21. Even then hemeroid refused to vanish: kills against Vulgarus at seconds 770 and 784 narrowed the gap to just two points.
Vulgarus owned the remaining exchanges. He hit Jano with a Flak Cannon at second 796 and a Shock Combo at 813, then caught hemeroid with another Shock Combo at 825. A Sniper Rifle hit on Jano at 843 pushed him to twenty-nine. Four seconds later hemeroid fired back with a rocket, notching his twenty-fourth point by killing Vulgarus. But the very same second, 847, belonged to Vulgarus: his Flak Cannon removed hemeroid for the final 30:24. After fourteen minutes of responses, reversals and near misses, the winner still had the sharpest reply.

Vulgarus collected 33 kills, but three suicides reduced his score to the winning thirty. hemeroid finished on twenty-four, while Jano managed 25 kills only to lose five points to suicides and finish with twenty. Tanchic scored twice and was marked as leaving early. Vulgarus also recorded twelve immediate revenge kills, one more than both hemeroid and Jano. Katami was not decided by the longest streak or even by first blood. The decisive skill was protecting a narrow lead through a 20:20 tie and responding when the remaining challengers pushed hardest. Minutes three, five and eleven each featured eight kills. The longest shot belonged to hemeroid: Bio Rifle against Vulgarus from 37.3 metres. Average kill distances were 15.6 metres for hemeroid, 12.8 for Vulgarus, 11.2 for Jano and 5.8 for Tanchic; their average lives lasted 32, 36, 28 and 24 seconds respectively.
